Words aren't enough to describe the pure beauty that we witness every time Floor takes the stage. As a fan of Nightwish and After Forever I am always left either in tears, speechless or both. Floor is a rare talent that we are so blessed to listen to. She is the Queen.

Seeing her live has definitely gotten me into music (beyond just 'everyone' listens to music) back in 2006, 2007? It's so amazing seeing her become so recognised, Nightwish, de beste zanger, everyone knows her now and it couldn't be more deserved.

Floor is a once in a generation artist and I'm sure as hell glad I get to live through this era. Floor is a gift to the world and us all.
As a musician myself, the first time I had heard her was on the Live At Wacken album. I was absolutely driven to tears by the control she has over voice. It just drips emotion. She's my favorite female vocalist now.

I don't know how mant times I ear this song play by Nightwish. This version is very different but absolutly wonderful. I love both .

Just so you know, Tuomas has no say in what Floor sings at her concerts as anyone can sing songs in public without having to pay the writer for royalties. That only applies if someone records the song.
Anyway, Im sure Floor would have discussed it with Tuomas before she decided what Nightwish (my favourite band!!) songs she would sing.
Remember, this is also a great promotion for Nightwish's music as well😀😃😄

Don't wanna be that one guy but check out Diamanda Galás, Cris D'Aveugle is a good start. She did all the vocals, the harmonies, the piano and organ and the composition and production. I honestly like both singers, Floor and Diamanda, but if I have to pick one over the other I'll have to go with Diamanda because of her insane range. That's just my opinion though. Don't get me wrong, Floor is amazing and I love her voice and diversity. It would be nice if she covers a Diamanda Galás song as well.

Absolutely. Floor has the best voice on earth. There is truly not any other individual that has the power to mesmerism, and massage the ears to sooth all the senses directly to the core of ones soul.. She is simply remarkable and Queen musician of the world.

Floor Jansen is THE singer of the 21st Century, in terms of all the emotion, the charisma, the quality she oozes. To make a silly comparison, she would be the Freddie Mercury of our era, if we take all the good Freddie brought to music.
You can like her music or not, but one thing you can't do is to say she doesn't sound incredibly well, warm, close...
I wish this lady all the best in this 2022 and beyond, and I hope I can see her live at some moment. NW should consider Barcelona for once 😍😁
I also wanted to mention that it is so cool she kept many of the musicians and backup singers from Beste Zangers, I think they are all brilliant.

Wow, i'm just blown away by this stripped-down version of one of the most brilliant songs by Nightwish. I mean, there is no NEED to express any words about Floor's talent (solo, Nightwish, AfterForever and so on - nothing more to say), but this fine and sublime arrangement and, for sure, the band itself created a NEMO which i really didn't expect at all. It does not happen often that a song, especially a classic new-born, runs its ninth round in a row !
