      There has been an insane amount of poor reactorbait videos released for this. Its not even a known song that draws in people who doesn't know Floor. Few of the competent guys like our mustache fan here has reacted to it. To be fair this song isn't so spectacular in its presentation, but its still a quality piece of work.

    I think this song was meant by Floor for the most part to have a vocal blast! I mean it seemed to me like she just wanted to get loose and sing (or scream) her lungs out. Like she was unleashed and finally got to her playground she missed for so long. She wanted to be loud, she wanted to sound over the top and have fun doing this crazy top-level vocal excersizes for the joy of herself and audience. Its not about the melody or the music ) I think its about bursting with energy and "nothing-can-stop-me" attiude.

    When I first listened to this I wasn't sure about it and was surprised she did it. I thought it was too repetitive and the music was too loud!! I still think that to be the case, but the more I listened I started to realise that Floor picked this for herself and not a request from her fans, so obviously SHE liked it!!
    I think she thought this was going to be a challenge so she decided to do it anyway regardless of what people thought!!
    I have always loved Floor and respect her even more by trying something right out of her comfort zone, which is the reason she can sing anything, cause if you don't try you never learn!
    Anyway although it's not one my favourite Floor songs, her voice is brilliant throughout and I think that was what she wanted to try!!
    So well done Floor😀😉😊

    About the pronunciation of "Agape", I think that in this context it's more like "a - GAP - ee" with "GAP" being pronounced just like the word "gap". Perhaps a linguistic nerd can stop by and confirm this. Sorry, can't help myself, "With her mouth agape, I saw the gap in her teeth and my agape for her dwindled."
    I'd be interested to know Floor's motivation for choosing this song as I don't think the band Kadawatha, is very well known at all. She may have been doing this Swedish band a favour by giving their music some additional publicity.
    BTW, their technical prowess in producing these covers seems to improve with each one. We shouldn't forget that these are home productions between Floor, Hannes and other musicians like Tommy Johansson of Sabaton. There's no big budget productions behind them.

    • @eskopikataival430
      @eskopikataival430 Před 2 lety

      Home productions, yes. However, the final of Shoemaker was recorded in this specific home studio. And just the microphone holds a 6k€ price tag so it's not exactly what most of us would call a home studio.

      @jamesredman1263 Před 2 lety

      I think she chose the song because she likes the song. Other covers she has done have been all over the place and simply liking them appears to be the reason to do them.
      The a in Gap is like the a in Cat, and that isn't it.
      The a in the center syllable is like "ah"
