I mean both are fully aware of multiversal stuffs and take full advantage of it, both are ultimately sadistic pieces of shit that are intelligent, and both have a tendency to say fuck off to staying dead and also both have ravenged the world for the sake of destruction

Genuinely curious, who all is in the background behind Fatalis?
@@johnathonclayton6964 the monsters in the background are a mix of elder dragons and black dragons. Such as Shara Ishvalda, Ibushi & Narwa and Amatsu. The black dragons are like Fatalis like Dire Miralis, Alatreon and Safi'Jiva as well as older generation elder dragons.

@@Dragnarok1 For some Context, Navirou has Zinogre Genetics with lightning affinity in his body, allowing him to use Thunder powers but it makes him vulnerable to Kirin’s lightning abilities which I suppose extends to his mind.

I love the detail of every other elders eyes being visible EXCEPT for fatalis, really gives off an eldritch god vibe. Love how your animations have been pushing fatalis into more of that lovecraftian being he's said to be in the lore, keep up the great stuff.
Well safi'jiva didn't really have one either.
Im not going to lie, out of all of them, shara probably has the most scary looking eyes considering it looks not only like human eyes but that he’s staring into your soul.

Honest to god, Lich Fatalis is just perfect. Now all I want is a Monster Hunter rpg where you play as monsters (PMD style, but with gameplay more akin to Stories)
Something like, You are a flagship monster who is on a quest to stop Fatalis (or whatever big bad monster is causing issues) and you recruit other monsters on your journey
That’s a good idea for a game.
Or they could make the “final boss” Safi’jiiva and you are trying to stop him because their is a voice in your head telling you to do it or he will end the world but at the end when you finally bring Safi’jiiva down before you can land the death blow Fatalis swoops down from the sky and steals the kill before turning to the player’s monsters and thanking them for leading him to Safi’jiiva. Then you have to fight Fatalis after he has absorbed Safi’jiivas’ power
So....Super robot wars but MH version?
@@connorriggs1518 It would be sick for Fatalis to play a Ganondorf/Flowey role in the game. Something like his presence is constantly foretold through lore and past destructions, and for the entire time, Fatalis has the one who's been pulling your strings so that you can get rid of his competitor who is also causing their own form of destruction.
Perhaps most of the current destruction is caused by Safi'jiiva, with Fatalis being the evil hiding in the shadows, waiting for their time to return.

I won’t be stubborn and pretend that the flavor-text legends are actually truthful lore, but I will always love fanon Fatalis and people who try to bury him completely and take pride in saying he’s “just another animal in the ecosystem” just hate fun.
People who say that Fatalis is "just another animal in the ecosystem" have never dug deep enough into the lore to know that he's literally the main reason why the ancient society that once commanded respect from dragons and monsters alike was almost completely wiped out, and why both humans and wyverians are living in their own dark age now.
While certain aspects of Fatalis are hard to believe (I refuse to believe that Fatalis can create dimensional portals, that’s too fantastical even for Monster Hunter) people thinking he’s just a regular animal are objectively wrong. He is canonically as smart as a person and carries an INTENSE hatred for humanity for what they did in the past. Hell, he stands on 2 legs to MOCK hunters and melts them onto his own body for extra protection. And he makes sure that process is as slow and deliberate as possible.

I know it's for gameplay purposes, but it's funny to imagine that after everyone you know is telling you, 'Fatalis will bring the destruction upon our village/home/base', you fail, and the response is, 'ah, just rest up, we'll try again some other day'
We need Ron Perlman to voice all future iterations of Fatalis. It just fits so well!

Elder Dragons being led by Fatalis is a scary thought. A scarier thought is a palico being possessed by Fatalis.
Well this is one hell of a way to show the unearthly quality of this dragon, and even showcase the other “creepier” primordial elder dragons also adored the touch of Fatalis speaking through a palico wearing Fatalis armor…this animation style of yours is just growing more and more crisp with every video you make shark.
Damn, that moment with all the Elder Dragons glowing in the darkness looked straight out of Shin Megami Tensei!

I've recently watched a monster hunter inworld documentary video that was made by this guy called Oceaniz.
It was called "The nature of Monster hunter world- forbidden episode" and it did such a good job making Fatalis out as some kind of Eldritch horror made flesh.
It was also great but he has also made a season two and documentary videos of all gen 1 monsters that I highly recommend

This works on so many levels the palico(sweetpea from adventure time) and fatalis (the lich) talking through him, because in the lore hunters that wear the armor of fatalis are somehow controlled or hear voices this is just a perfect monster hunter adventure time collab animation

Considering that elder dragons are ancient species from primordial epochs long before man, this seems very in character for a fatalis
New headcanon, every kind of Fatalis sounds like Ron Perlman from when he plays villainous roles.
This implies that there is a scene where someone spills a Palico's healing potion on Fatalis and it turns into a kitten
Ngl this would be interesting. Fits the idea of whoever wearing the Fatalis armor will slowly lose their mind and the armor itself will one day regrow and become a Fatalis.
The price for that temporary forbidden power is the forbidden knowledge and memories from the forbidden dragon which will destroy your mind and replace your life with another, itself.
I want to believe Fatalis is so completely detached from the nature of Monster Hunter, it caused nature itself to attempt at countering and balancing the natural order that was thrown into chaos due to this misplaced existence by giving form to the Elder Dragons, which led to the hostile megafauna we're in.
Sorry to disappoint you, but the flavor texts of Fatalis' armor are in no way part of the lore. They resemble myths and legends of the characters living in that world and are thus not true
@@TimTendo05 Nothing wrong with myths, it just adds to the mystery and lore of the in-world universe. And yeah it's just headcanons and whatnot.
Treat it as you're in the world itself, there are documented facts, but there also hearsays, rumors, myths and tall tales that you would hear from numerous individuals or unexplainable things your hunter witnessed that you start to form a story in your head. It adds a lot to the chaotic yet wonderful world your hunter is residing in.
If Ron Perlman voiced Fatalis in a piece of Monster Hunter media, I could die a happy hunter.
