I guess this is what Nakarkos actually does when no hunters are around.
i like to think they try to collect any skull that looks fun to use. or they spend their time painting on Ceadeus/Namielle skulls.
The truth is that Nakarkos doesn’t down airships and eats whole ecosystems because it’s hungry, but because it’s scared the secret that it talks to its tentacles may come out, so it kills anyone who might’ve seen or heard about it.
Well Nakarkos is portrayed as hyper intelligent in the game. And anything smart enough would end up with a curious and playful mind. (Devious and cruel playful but playful) so yeah there is a high likelihood that when bored Nakarkos might play with the skulls at the ends of its tentacles.
There are three hunters in front of it though

nakarkos is stuck in a giant pit filled with the bones of ancient monsters. NAKARKOS IS BUCK! (we can just say the big skull counts as the eyepatch because im lazy)
If I had a nickel for every time there's an SFM animation of Monster Hunter based on a scene from Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs where Buck talks to himself with skulls on his hands, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.

Nakarkos has to return to MH Wilds or one of the other future MH games, he's such a cool monster, but is critically underrated.

I'm guessing by her body language that after witnessing the nightmare fuel and near death experience that was Fatalis in the previous video, the lady hunter is just glad to have a monster that is anything else but the 2 things mentioned above

To be fair, Nakarkos are pretty terrifying in their own right. Homeboy destabilizes whole ecosystems because it’s their cheat day.

One of the most underrated final bosses in the series. Considering generations was SOMEHOW my first game in the series, this cuttlefish elder with an underrated theme still sticks to me to this day. Now, if only he was able to come back...
I really love how they made his low- and high-rank fights so different btw. Iirc the low-rank version only has you repel him and defeat his skeleton "heads". Meanwhile the high-rank version full on included an entire different phase where he turns around and shows his real head. I would not in a million years have seen that coming. Feel like these kinds of differences between different ranks are something that's missing from the 5th gen a bit.
@@doomdoot6731 fighting the high rank version for the first time was an incredible shock for sure. Just having the main body emerge and reveal the true monster? *mwah*, chef’s kiss.
If you want to have your mind blown further, Narcarcos's design/concept may go as far back as the first MH game.
This is odd, but like....Bucks voice oddly fits very well with the overall vibe and look that Nakarkos has.
It's putting on a sock puppet show for the hunters before it erases them from existince with its death beam, what a nice guy.

You know it would be so cool if nakarkos had even more tentacles, and they were just underground. Like imagine he had some monoblos and diablos skulls, and he just does that one daimyo hermitaur move with 6 tentacles.

I can’t help but feel that this video might be somewhat accurate. If nakarkos is as intelligent as implied, then I could totally see him playing with the bones it’s collected in it’s lair when it has nothing else to do.
