- How to enter and exit valet mode on a Compustar Alarm system. It can be done using a 1-way remote, 2-way remote, and just by using the key.
➡️ I show how to enter valet mode and double check that the alarm is in valet mode. Don't forget to enable valet mode when leaving your car at a shop for service, it will disable the remote starter and disable the alarm.

No, just tap the Key button, then tap it again, then tap it again.. it will show all that good stuff, like Temp, Car Voltage and remote voltage.
Make sure to tap quick enough one after the other. If you wait too long it will only show temp.

Is there a way to disable the alarm and leave the remote start enabled?
Yes, it requires programming of the module though. The instructions are in this PDF for CM7000: images.idatalink.com/corporate/Content/Manuals/COMPUSTAR/CM7000_Full_Install_V3_15_2016.pdf on page 43 it's option 3-06 Default is on, but it can be set to off. .. I may do a quick video on programming it, seems like a good idea for people who want to leave the remote start running but disable the alarm features.
@@CleverFix Thank you! I only wanted a remote start with 2 way verification. The alarm is just a nuisance to me.
@@Sabodable That makes sense. I'll put up a video in 2-3 days when I get the chance in case anyone else needs this.. I think many people who buy a car with this alarm may want to disable it but also leave the remote start available.

No there is no brightness. Maybe your battery is low? It should be pretty easy to view even outdoors.
I have a 2017 Toyota Tundra and my Compustar is giving me an error 7 code when I try to use the remote start. Compustar website says the reservation mode needs to be reset but my truck is an automatic. That’s for setting up a manual transmission for the remote start. Any idea on the issue?

Is your green/white wire cut like in the video?
If it's cut that means the car is automatic. But, if it has worked in the past, it's strange that it would suddenly stop working.
