Just got this system on my car, everything works great, alarm is good too. Range is very good. I got it installed with alarm and everything for 365 with a taxes and fees total

Is there a way to manually turn on/off the ilumination on the LCD screen of the remote?
My T9 remote randomly stopped illuminating and I have no idea how to turn it back on. I can't see the screen in low-light conditions, much less at night

how do you reset the system? my car battery died and now the remote won't work
I have d same alarm but is very sensitive to noise n vibration. Is there a way to low the sensitivity?
Yes there are dials for sensitivity on the shock sensor itself, and it can also be further programmed with the remote. I suggest turning down the dials on the sensor first.

Awesome thanks!! Would be great to know if it's possible to set my seat heaters to my Aux 1 button. And what is Sleep mode I keep accidentally enabling? It's okay if you can't answer my questions. I wish it offered option for both beep and vibration. And wish it offered option to set both auto start and alarm on weekdays only, not everyday. Auto start on automatic time could be dangerous if garage not open. Thx again for the video. I'll post it to my Ford Edge Car Audio YT channel.
You can schedule starts at a certain time, but you have to confirm it every day, to ensure the car is not in a garage like you said. Activating seat heaters is different on every car.. it's not always straight forward, you'll need a relay, but you also need to know which wires to connect to activate it. If you know the wires that should be connected, then Aux1 can activate the relay and connect the wires. If you see "ZZzz" that means the alarm is in valet mode.. I'm guessing that's what you mean by sleep mode?
How can i open all doors with one single press?
Your Compustar opens only one door on unlock? Or the keyfob the car came with?
Remote was indicating i had to change the battery on the remote. O did so and now ot qont lock or unlock my car as well as trunk or start? Any solutions?

What do you mean timer mode needs to be programmed first?
You can't set the engine to remote start at a certain time unless the starter is programmed to allow it. By default it doesn't allow it.. just so you don't accidentally set the car to start on it's own by mistake.

See my install video when I learn the remote: czcams.com/video/sR-mdzWnoaI/video.html try re-learning the remote. Hope you have a key! If you have push button you have to do it by pressing the button.. basically don't press the brake pedal, press the button twice to turn it to "ON" and then once again to turn it to "ACC" and I believe you can just keep pressing it again to go back to ON and again to ACC , keep repeating, until it reaches 5 times, then alarm should beep like mine did. If it doesn't beep or flash the lights, something's wrong with the alarm, maybe a fuse, or wiring problems, etc.
Hey man i had a quick question, I have the ftx1600r-fm remote. I wanted to know how i can configure it so that my car starts with the front and rear defrosts on upon remote start.

Do you know if your alarm has been hooked up to the front/rear defrosters by your installer? If it hasn't then it's not possible until it is hooked up. You could try asking a car alarm install shop for a quote to hook it up, and they will know best how to configure it to turn on automatically when the car starts.

Have you seen the Troubleshooting part of my video that shows how to turn chips on/off: czcams.com/video/YzZTjwimrHQ/video.html ? Does the chirp sound exactly the same as the sound in that video, or is it a different type of beeping, perhaps the car's factory beep?
@@CleverFix the chirps sounds exactly the same as the chirp in your video (sound like a hot wheels car don’t like it 😂) but when I hit the unlock and lock button the remote doesn’t do anything the only time the oem horn beeps is when I hit the lock from the oem Key (2013 civic si) love the alarm system just don’t like the chirping so much I can deal with the remote sound confirmations but I can do without the car chirp lol

@@CleverFix yes when I hold the lock and unlock button for 3 seconds the car beeps 3 times and on the remote it says “Fail” at the bottom of the remote

Hi, on my 2W901R-SS remote, one of my remotes shows the time after it's set, and the other same remote doesn't display the time. Is there a way to toggle the time on & off?
I'm not aware of a time on/off... I've never had it disappear on mine, but the T9 is different. Maybe try to call the 800 number on this card and ask them: www.staub.ca/pdf/sku/compustar-2W901R-SS_QuickCard.pdf

Hold lock for 4 seconds to make the siren go off.
Can the chirping volume be changed?
Not on the T9 Remote. There are other remotes that have volume adjustment, they will show "VOL" on that option.
