Dude yessss finally I’ve been struggling tryna fined a video to activate my other remote cuz man it was a hassle trying to fined my remote that worked only thing I need help on is now how to get the sound of the remote
Yes, good video. I would just add that if are adding a second remote an already existing and working remote that you include that both will need to be as the same time, because if you only pair one the new remote the other remote will not work.

I have a 2019 Ram 3500 Promaster van with the Compustar system installed. Recently I lost all connectivity and took it back to the shop that installed it. To get it to work they said that they had to remove the battery from my Ram remote that came with the van Have you ever heard of this? They said that deep in the compustar manual it said to do this. Everything worked fine with both remotes for the last year but it just happened. I really liked the original remote to work also.

I have the 4905s system installed in my car. But I want to upgrade the remote to the lcd T13 fob. The remote that came with it (which I use) range is like 3000ft-Will the T13 remote work with the 4905s system?

Do you need the antenna for this to work? My car was bought used had everything still installed. But the antenna. Came with the two keys.

the unlock button only works when car is running from remote start... and the lock and hold only flashes lights in panic mode ?
To drive-off do u still need the factory key fob or can u just use the aftermarket key fob ?

Hey man, i also have a 4th gen ram and just installed the compustar 4900s. The only cable i think i needed to use was the two fused +12v, the ACC, Gnd, from the main heavy gauge wires. and then from the thinner wire blade connector i used CAN hi and CAN Lo, and ignition +, and the parking light mux. That was it. I am waiting on a USB cable to flash the blade so i cant really test it but does the wiring sound right? I think door locks and horn and stuff are supposed to work through CAN but not really sure the diagrams were not very descriptive.
I haven't programmed the blade yet so truck doesn't respond to anything but the remote seems to be triggering the relays in the box correctly.

@@jptheinstallguy thanks for the reply. I flashed it but the blade isn't detecting the oem key in the ignition. But i posted my wiring diagram on reddit and they were able to help me. I didn't realize the main ignition wire in the car has to be cut and routed through the remote starts. Once I do that i'm pretty sure it should detect the oem key.
@@jptheinstallguy it is installed and working great. I also had to run the thick gauge ignition wire into the blade ignition wires with a diode as well. But its working good. Thanks for the help
How do you see your lights flashing when you're inside your car to press that lock button?
The lights will flash and the module should click at the same time so if you can't see the lights it's not an issue just listen to the clicks
Can you pair controllers from different model to a different system but same brand?
im not 100% sure with compustar remotes i know the viper ds4 has 5 different fob remotes that can be paired to it.
My 2nd remote won't pair. The first one (the one that beeps) works fine, the 2nd doesn't get any response even though the antenna goes green when trying to pair.
Did you ever figure out how to pair both the 2way and 1 way remote? Today my 1way just somehow unpaired so when I try to pair it then my 2way would unpair so can only pair 1 remote and not both like before.

whats up homie. man i actually like the viper products better than compustar but both have there advantages when it come to how easily it gets installed and thats what i care about...lol they all going to do the same thing for real.
