As soon as KOTOR remake gets a blurb about being “reimagined for modern audiences,” already middling expectations will crater. I expect it at this point.
They hired to same lady to rewrite KoToR who said something along the lines that she isn't making Star Wars movies for Star Wars fans when there were complaints about her poor writing.

I disagree with May being too early to show off the PS5 pro, it's not a replacement for the PS5, it will be sold alongside it, people that want a base PS5 will still buy one or pay more and upgrade to a pro. Buying either one Sony still profits

I hate how some services make you go though several prompts just to get the option to talk to a real person but the worse are the ones that hang up on you with almost no way to talk to a real person
Well the most intelligent Ai is 10x smarter than any human so it makes sense and we’d have less issues with checking out. Not having to deal with a dumb human

were not going to see Naughty Dog anytime soon since they wasted so much time on Last of Us multiplayer that got canceled, porting Last of Us Part 1 to PC and now a possible Last of Us Part 2 to PC, which will be annoying since its like all theyve done is work on just 2 games.

Blowing this out of proportion. I have needed Xbox customer service twice since 2004. I think it will be okay lol. And who knows, it could work well.
Unfortunately, I have low expectations for KOTOR Remake…but maybe that’ll be beneficial for me whenever it comes out.
Seems to be with a lot of games, especially at launch.
I just dont trust any trailer or pre-release articles till the final product is out. Too many times I've been deceived by false marketing and sadly its gotten worse from a few game series I primarily played back then. Indies I trust a little more but still, wait and see with low expectations.

I don’t think Dave the diver is going to PS+ essential. My understanding is mid month releases are usually for extra/premium. I know the blog post doesn’t clarify but if you’re a PS+ essential guy like me I wouldn’t get your hopes up
It says it's coming to the Playstation + catalog but doesn't actually say whether it's essentials or not. I'm assuming it's going to be like Stray was just immediately dropped in as soon as it's released for the PS4/PS5. The most important thing to remember is... we're getting Godzilla because... who doesn't love burning Godzilla.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 sells 2.5 million copies in one week on PC, PS5 and Xbox *combined* and gets praised, while Final Fantasy 16 sells 3 million copies in one week *only on PS5* and you throw shade. You’re like a little tiny rowboat without a sail adrift at the mercy of the masses.
Because historically Final Fantasy has done better than that so it's a step down. That's the difference. This has been explained to you before.

The KOTOR remake has always been puzzling to me. I know game development isn't easy but I mean the whole game is already written and mapped out. If the game comes out it's going to be close to a decade in development.
Really the only difference between a Showcase and a State of Play is that Showcases feature new hardware. Last year it was the Portal so this year would presumably be the Pro.
Would love that, but I don't think so. I agree with Jon that the Pro announcement would be closer to launch, maybe August/September at the earliest IMO.

I wish they would push the PS5 life cycle to 10 years instead of 8 years.
It would give them more time to develop a better PS6, it would further justify a mid-gen refresh model like the PS5 Pro, and give developers more time to squeeze all the good there is out of the PS5. 🤷🏼♂️

i guess good sales numbers depends on the franchise (obviously). FF16 sold 3 million in a few days and it was considered meh. Dragons Dogma sold 2.5mil in 10 days and is thought of as good/

The deal would have been signed with the previous publisher, not the developer, and isn’t guaranteed to have carried over. Not to mention the reports that Sony had wanted out of the deal anyways.

Would be funny if that's what's causing the CPU problems. It wouldn't be surprising, but it would be funny seeing as how Capcom is blaming it on NPC behaviour and whatnot when the NPC behaviour isn't particularly that advanced. Looking forward to 'DD2's DRM cracked, now provides smoother experience'
I would actually be interested in having characters like Master Chief or whoever doing that AI help stuff, but only if the VAs are fairly compensated. Even if they aren't delivering the individual lines, it's still their voice and their body.
It would be very amusing if the AI bot can process refunds, as prompt attacks are very easy with AI right now. Before they know it, that AI bot could be giving away millions of dollars.
Go the palworld route and do Clippy with a gun.

Lego 2K Drive is actually such a fun game!! Lego Racers 2 was one of my favorite games as a kid and this really brought back some nostalgia even though its a different game with the same core formula

I would say "just as long as there's people involved and they're overqualified," but, knowing SONY, that's obviously not gonna be the case. Except maybe Mike McFarland, but, even then, if I was in charge of a dubbing studio, I wouldn't want him near any of the scripts I'm given, regardless of how good he is as a translator.

The way current gen consoles have been handled, I really hope sales are slow at the beginning of the next gen.
These companies showed us they will support old hardware for forever, why should we pay them for meaningless upgrades when they still give us games that are designed for the older systems

So this month is strong for game pass. Little Gator game is wonderful experience. It reminded me of what it felt like to be a little kid pretending to be Link in my backyard. Botany manner is a really good game for people who want a chill puzzle solving game. It's been on my wish list for a minute. Harold Halibut is a game made of complete stop motion! It's going to be an amazing experience.
Same problems with Stella blade,but the demo did surprise me.
The sequel should be Dragon's Catma
The sad part is that the PlayStation Showcase will be similar to the last Showcase that showed a majority of the 3rd Party Games….Remember this is not the “Good Old Days” of the PS4 of the 1st Party Games Banger after Banger of First Party Games….The Games I’m Personally excited about for PlayStation 5 is Silent Hill Remake and Wolverine….Those are the only games reported that are “Exclusive”???

Not too bad of Games hitting Game Pass so far April, 2K Drive, PGA Tour: Masters and Shadow of the Tomb Raider (which is better than people gives credit) are the Standout Games guys.
Awesome Sales for Dragon's Dogma 2 at the mo, Dragon's Dogma 1 has Sold around 7.5m since Launch, I am expecting Dragon's Dogma 2 too hit the 10m Sold Mark, if the way it Runs doesn't hold people back from getting it.
Hopefully FSR 3 for Immortals of Aveum will help it out on either the Frame Rate side or Graphics side.
Yh I think a PlayStation Showcase in May sounds about right plus Sony needs too Show their 1st Party Titles and yh I don't mind Games being Shown 1, 2, 3yrs out or so. A Teaser maybe for the PS5 Pro would be cool tho.
KotoR Remake is alive is great too hear. I am hopeful it's a Cross-Gen Release on PS5 n PS6.
Dive the Diver Added too the other Games for Essential Tier is quality stuff. Tales of Kenzera: Zau is looking Dope, definitely on my Radar.

I downloaded immortals of aveum since it was free with my PlayStation plus just to try it out. I was hooked! I got to chapter 8 and was up till 2am and had to force myself to turn it off. This is a fantastic game and I’m sad I waited this long to play it.

Pick up Kotor series on PC if you can as the mods are numerous and even if you want vanilla there is a massive community bug fix patch and a cut content patch. 2 was so rushed it took the mods to show it was the superior game. Hours of content added back in and over 500 bugs ironed out. The only reason to get kotor 1 on console is it does not have controller support on pc. Kotor 2 does have controller support and is the better game (modded) imo
