- I was very excited to get my hands on this Truggy. Hobao are probably my favourite RC Car manufacturer at the moment. Having owned several buggies I was very keen to see what this truggy was like. In this video I take it out of the box and show you an initial look at the car, followed by the first start!

Just found your channel mate and subscribed, great info and knowledge , I am in the hobby my hanger has drones , planes , helicopters, tanks , motorbikes , construction 360 digger, and 4 or 5 cars , everything I have is battery powered which is getting better by the day so it does not mean there slow or low powered , BUT I don't have any nitro s / petrol car ,and I want to get some soon , I will be taking on board your reviews / thoughts about nitro s before I buy , thanks again great videos,

i want to get the sst electric version? how does this compare to the arrma cars (Talion, kraton) in terms of quality and durability?
also for how long ist this sst platform on the market? is a newer version around the corner ? like Hyper st -> Hyper sst
I'm afraid I don't know much about Arrma, and I don't know if Hobao Intend to release a new one!
Hi pal my question to you is which truggy would you buy? The HPI trophy 4.6 nitro or the hobao hyper ss nitro. Both really nice trucks and both around if not the same price. HPI seams easily to buy parts for. The hobao is slight bigger. What would your preference be?
I would go for the HPI for parts availability :) And the engine in the HPI is better.
Great videos! I used to have a Hyper 8.5 around 10 years ago, with the 21 3 port engine, great car. What sort of top end speed will this truggy do?
I'd guess about 35mph. It's a truggy so the larger wheels & design make it heavier than the Hyper buggies, but it's capable of more extreme off road & jumps! : )
I noticed it has the special metal rear wing washers that are plastic on my nrb5, anyone know if you can buy these separately before i make some on the lathe? Great video as always
I don't think you can get them seperately, you'd have to buy a new rear wing which would come with them

How do u get differant colour nitro fuels in uk, all we have here is opti fuel and its only ever pink colour
I've gone back to Optifuel because I was using Racing Experience fuel but then when I needed more I couldn't get any, Optifuel is the main fuel that is readily available here in the UK. The Racing fuel I got from eBay
what glow starter do u use as saw it was on a lead
It's a Prolux easy starter
I have this truggy for quite some time now. What I really like about this is its beefiness. I like how the components were made, compared to leading brands. They're just overrated and overly priced. With hobao, you'll get a budget-friendly price especially with hop-up parts and the car itself.

Quality is great and the price point is perfect. I don't think you can go wrong with them! I've never had to buy any parts for my Hyper 7's

The Hyper SS Buggy is based on the same spec, yes :)

Whats the differences between SS and ST?
The SS platform was a newer platform buggy that Hobao released, they then brought out the SST which is a truggy based off the same platform. In short, not a massive difference - the ST is just an older model

No it would be wasted on a RTR truggy like this. The novarossi needs to go in a nice race truck like a tlr 8t, tekno nt48 or x-ray xt8
