The 2yr old boy being killed by the alligator is truly heartbreaking everytime i hear about it
In my opinion I think there shouldâve been a rope barrier as soon as they couldâve put one up. Either way the parents/Carers shouldâve been watching the child
Edit: *the alligator is innocent. The kid's father, Thomas Mosley was arrested for allegedly stabbing his wife to death and drowning his 2-year old son.*
No sensible parent would keep their *2-year old* kid near the water unattended. Without the alligator, the kid would have probably fallen in and drowned by itself.
I wonder: how much of a 2-year old boy will be left after a hungry alligator has finished with it?
I have no special love for Disney but in this case, perhaps the boy did just fall in and drowned.
Then later a curious alligator might have taken a bit out of the body and decided it wasn't proper to eat.
I agree
Whatâs heartbreaking is that the parents had plenty of warning and they just Karened on. Iâm sure the poor kid was doomed anyway with those twits as parents.
The kids are fast
But the alligator is faster.....
"not enough security"
i have seen more security at disney than at the US capitol

Ok Iâm pretty sure that my house is more safe

spot on, mate
đđđđ
Oh indeed
how did you call this
I've got family working at Disneyland Paris and they told me there are some kids who have straight up punched/attacked the costumed characters. It turns out they indeed are allowed to defend themselves in these cases, if the person who's present to guard them isn't fast enough. I'm not saying that was the case in the video, but it really is allowed in certain cases.
But it is France!!! People have work rights and unions....USA don't
@@alexanderdyk ...you're right about that haha.
Re: The alligator story: To be fair to Disney their are signs ALL OVER THE PLACE tell you to stay out of and away from the water and while the claim is the boy was on the land their are people who said the father boy were actually in the water.
The 2 year old was knee deep. But a gator can slip onto shore, grab its prey, and scuttle back into the water in just a few seconds.
Please see my comment above regarding people who don't take the time to read signs or take the time beforehand to double-check the health of all party members. In addition, if visitors ever take the opportunity to visit the Everglades and Alligator Alley, the Park Rangers explain just how dangerous these beasts are, including their amazing ability to leap up out of the water to grab their prey and pull it under the water in the infamous death roll. I applaud Disney for taking the time to install their warning signs at all beaches and other venues containing open bodies of water.
@@shepwillner7507 Yeah, after a tragedy happened. They knew those gators were there.
The official investigative reports states that there was a sign that says no swimming. There was not a sign that warned of gators. The child was standing in a couple of inches of water, bent forward to collect the water in a bucket for a sand castle, when a gator grabbed him by the head. The father did go into the water to try to save his child. His hands were injured by the gator's teeth and the gator got away.
Also, the report indicated that the lagoon was not a popular place for gators because of the high activity. Without a warning, the out of state visitors would not have known that there was danger at the hotel's beach.
@@ChristophProbst I admit "no swimming; is not the same as 'stay out of the water:" and "Beware alligators" is.....well....lets say I'd take that warning LOT MORE serious.
The Tigger story reminded me of when I was 10 and we went to DisneyWorld. I went and took pictures with Daisy. We were dancing and twirling and I accidentally stepped on their foot. I'm still waiting to hear this: WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON MY SWAMP
There is a rule of thumb in Florida. If there is a body of water, there is an alligator. Bay Lake is massive, and most of DW is conservation land. It is literally impossible to fully control the movement of wildlife. Furthermore, it was the negligence of the parents to let their TWO YEAR OLD child play next to a snake and alligator infested water source.
@@stephensimons657 that's not something everyone knows though I'm from rural pa and wouldn't think that.

As a former cast member at WDW I can tell you that just during my time there the Maleficent dragon robot caught fire, the monorails got stuck without AC, the Skyliners were a constant hassle and Splash Mountain was notorius for breaking down nearly everyday. I still remember the alligator. The parents were like we didn't know small ponds have alligator in Florida. Its florida they even have them on the side of the road.đ€Šââïž
Yea, I fail to see how Disney is responsible at all. People were screaming at the father to get his son out of the water. AT that point, the father is responsible.
And there were signs up saying there could be alligators in the water and to not to swim because of it.
@@TwirlGirl2197 They only put those signs up after the boy's death. The only signs they had posted before said "no swimming"
@@richardburchett That is not true. There were alligator signs before as well as signs not to feed alligators. I had been twice to the park prior to that incident.
It also wasnât a small pond either đ
My mom works at a Magic Kingdom hotel (contemporary), and she witnessed a co-worker jump off from the top off a stair case to her death. She committed because she was fired, disney paid a lot of money to cover the story up

I was mere feet away from being a segment on this episode. 2017 I was working security at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Early morning a Orange County deputy and I were standing underneath the monorail track near one of the ticket windows. Maintenance monorail car was passing above when one of the railings fell off the vehicle nearly missing the deputy and myself. Iâm glad I wasnât made into one of your cartoons đ
Wow that was lucky I am glad that you are ok and safe
Thank the heavens that the both of you are okay, unfortunately this wasn't the case for a grad student a couple years ago who encountered the same thing. According to one of the CZcamsrs in here named Fallen Angel, Disney had to spray clean the tracks and then just swept the few remains under the rug so to speak. And that's my issue with companies as such. They don't admit to things when it goes terribly wrong. They just act like it didn't happen or wasn't their fault. The amount of times that Disney has been sued...
@@Aberrantly That was an incident from 1966 where an idiot attempted to break into the park while climbing onto the monorail tracks while security yelled at him to get down because a literal train was coming. It was 1000% his fault and not Disneyâs.
Iâm surprised the teen boy who climbed on the monorail tracks wasnât mentioned. Long story short: A young teenage boy was with a group of friends and decided it would be funny to climb onto the tracks before the monorail came in Disneyland/Disney World. Sadly he couldnât hear his friends or anyone yelling at him to get down before the monorail⊠well you can picture the rest. Hard to find articles on this because Disney likes to keep the happy friendly perspective though
A) This was in Disneyland in Anaheim, not Disney World in Orlando. B) He wasnât goofing off with friends, he was a 19 y/o attempting to sneak into high schoolsâ grad nite. Security did yell at him repeatedly to warn him but he willfully ignored them and this was 100% his fault. And itâs really not hard to find information about this, itâs just not brought up often because it is from 1966 and there is zero reason to still be talking about a purely avoidable incident from more than 50 years ago.
I'm shocked they didn't mention the incident where a Pluto mascot was caught chasing a boy around or incidents where employees were harmed/killed.
Disney is everywhere
I'm shocked they didn't mention Pluto got ran over by a float
Probably too dark. I've mentioned this 2x I think there are darker things hiding in DW.

I remember always riding in the cab with the driver on the monorail when I was little. On my sixth birthday, I remember leaving the Grand Floridian, and being told that I couldnât ride up front anymore. When I asked why, they said that it was too distracting for drivers. Two days later, one of the drivers let me sit up front, and I remember seeing him make a surprised Pikachu face. I guess he forgot about the new rules and, being an older guy, was so used to letting kids ride up front that he just sort of went on autopilot during boarding. I miss being able to ride up front :(
I rode mission space three years ago, the intense original version, and itâs no joke. I felt like I was going to pass out during it at some points. The motion sickness was crazy. But at least I was okay afterwards, once I sat down for a bit. Nobody with any heart or breathing condition should even consider that ride.
I was actually at the resort when the boy was killed by the alligator. Absolutely heartbreaking how nothing couldâve been done.
Itâs the parents fault. Itâs heartbreaking hearing what happened, but if the parents supervised the kids like parents are supposed to do, then the kid might still be here today.

Also, considering all the people who have gone, these things didnt seem to happen often considering how long theyve been open compared to other parks but that doesnt make these events any less tragic and heartbreaking :(
Thatâs a common rumor but not true, people have been pronounced dead on property before. It was -potentially- more true like, decades ago, when there were issues with Disney employees being instructed to contact Disney management before emergency services, but this has been outdated policy for a long time. And yes, in the grander scheme of things, there really havenât been a lot of incidents considering the millions of visitors the Disney parks get every year. It doesnât help that most dramatic incidents referenced are from decades ago. Around that same time was when someone shot up that pulse nightclub in downtown Orlando. It was a very interesting time to be at Disney lol
Ya itâs the parents problem because they said that Disney had signs that said something about alligator in the water so the parents have to be responsible
Imagine how astronauts feel. They endure that for a long time
I took the opportunity to look at the alternative ride and decided upon the tamer experience of sitting at a control panel to be guided by Gary Sinise for landing my "Mars Spacecraft." I love that actor and wanted to see and hear him on the video screen.
They get training for it tho
by the way the kid that died by the gator was in water with signs that said âdonât swim or get in water do to snakes and alligatorsâ
I'm subbed to you
I remember when my family and me took the skyliner from our resort to hollywood studios, scary stuff, it feels like it'll fall any second. it swings and sways and definetly a good way to make yourself sick. i do remember seeing the fanciest mcdonalds on the way though, it was coo.
You didn't include the one where a cast member got crushed by a moving wall/ stage.
đźđźđź
That was Disneyland, not disneyworld
@@jaimiclu7913 as soon as they mentioned the gater attack they opened the door to that question.
That was pretty terrifying considering her screams were probably muffled by the noise
@@MASTEROFEVIL there's a video that simulates what happened but keep in mind it's not an actual clip and screams are edited in.
7:00 imagine how much training and how strong, mentally and physically, astronauts and fighter pilots must be, just to be able to endure the flying alone
Yeah, and you wonder how much training did Jeff Bezos received before he lifts off into space? Enough, I hope to ensure he survives his trip.
That mission space ride is torture. It is such a small compartment, hot, stuffy, dark, frightening. It doesn't surprise me that people have died on it.
I remember as a kid I would always ride in the front of the monorail! Then we couldnât and my mom told me, glad I wasnât on that monorail. :(
The survivors had to take class c amnestics.
Yup it does sound like an scp.
Absolutely
Underrated
Doesnt class C mean that its more like an operation? Not just some pill you can take? đ€
nah its disney shooting is cheaper dispatch the mtf

âThe plane was on course for Disneyâ
Well they got there
Super underrated comment
Iâm from Iowa and one of my parents friends actually knew the family of the 2 year old what was attracted by a alligator.
75 years the park has been open!! Wow think about all those people whoâve gone there since then!
Disney getting sued for nature is dumb
its the parents fault there so dumb like why would they leave a 4 year old outside for no reason
Well technically, if you build resorts and hotels on places you know there is local wildlife. It's your responsibility to take measurements like bars or protection against water reptiles for example.
@@jots2493 Yep!
"Biggest investigation in Disney history" lol idk why but that just sounds funny to me
âI like your funny words magic manâ
the list we didn't know we needed
Thereâs no way Iâll ever go to any of the Disney parks. The cost is outrageous and unaffordable . That includes the high cost of hotels too.
ok?
Imagine youâre just trying to vacation but your face gets eaten by a alligator.
CLINT EASTWOOD WITH A AK-47
Skibob dada *SHOOT
Oh no. Not again
I rode mission space when I was a kid, my mom and me both got super sick and throwing up. About a month later is when the little boy died on it
Oof
If you wanna go there again go to mission space green if you aren't ready for the orange
Donât eat for half an hour before hand. Especially if you are going to ride orange. Not even coffe
Why would you leave a 2 year old unattended by a river? Even if there weren't any gators in the water there's still a risk of them falling in and drowning.
I was at Disney World in 2004. During the evening fireworks display we could feel the little embers pelting down on us. Apparently some pieces were bigger than others because a guy standing in front of us got hit in the head and started bleeding.
Iâve been waiting for this video for a long time...
"accidents that nobody can predict" *Child's heart beats outside of body* 0:49
No way they had crying child going to Disneyland
I remember before the ban riding in the front of the monorail. That was incredible. Pity about the accident three or so years after my visit.
Regarding the Monorail, as a former FEMA employee, I would have to wonder whether there are escape hatches in the ceilings and emergency exit windows on both the Monorails and the SkyLiners. The incident describing the fire aboard a Monorail that had no emergency window exits was scary. Scarier is whether Disney ever conducts emergency evacuation exercises involving Cast Members piloting the Monorails and SkyLiners. Ditto involving hotels: does Disney do Violent Shooter exercises for its Cast Members? I'm guessing that they don't do enough of them. Perhaps if they do some evacuation exercises, would Disney get sued less by Guests? Maybe Yes, maybe No. As for the incident involving the scalding nacho cheese at the Cosmic Ray's cafe, that event reminds me of the woman who sued Mickey D's for serving her scalding hot coffee a few years ago. She won that suit, and Mickey D's had to reduce their coffee serving temperature to avoid burning their customers.
Frankly, though, I wish that if I and my fellow park visitors paid more attention to whether they ought to ride a particular attraction by reading the signs containing info about the age, height, and other physical limitations before boarding a ride, perhaps their experience would improve. Oh, yeah, get real, Shep! People don't take the time to read signs anymore than they take the time to check the health of their party members especially those with back pains or heart ailments. As a party of one, I know what kind of rides I'm willing to board because I know myself and my limitations better than the ride operators. For example, I won't ride attractions that involve my being upside-down, at a huge height in open spaces, or involves something else that limits my enjoyment of the ride. And I'll take the time to read the signs posted about the appropriateness of the ride before getting in line. For example, I did the Soarin at The Land Pavilion two years ago. I wish I knew just how this ride operated when it took me up and at one point banked a sharp left it followed the film scene. That was scary. One was enough on that ride!
