Your father has a Seaward ehh??? 🤔
Now there’s a Meet the Owner episode I’m sure EVERYONE wants to see!!! 😳👍🏻😉
That's a proper little mini ship 😊 For one person and a dog, just the perfect size 😄 Great little boat, and great tour!
More boats like this Nick.
Aquaholic is ironically the best cure for a massive hangover. Thank you.
You're welcome! 😄
I've always loved the look of the pilot boats going out from my local coastal town. So cool there's a consumer version!
Ooohh -- a Land Rover for the seas! Love it! There are many, many places in the world where a boat like this would be a real timesaver and an excellent way to spend time at sea! Thanks for the tour!
I love semi-displacement and displacement yachts, I value safety and comfort much higher than speed and style. Very nice little yacht!
Hi Nick. A sturdy seaworthy boat. All weather with plenty of power 28 knots. Like this one a lot. Great walkthrough tour thanks 😊
What a lovely wee boat!
The head is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. When you opened the door, it's like a magic show while the magician pulled a big fat rabbit from a small hat.
Word of the day: proper
perfect Island hopper for the Maine coast! Great price for one tough little ship..Thanks Nick!
Very nice compact boat there! Got all the features with no nonsense!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for IDing those vents on side deck, I was near shouting " noo, go back! what are they!?"
That would do quite nicely 👍❤️🇬🇧
Too right
Great for a day run Thank you Nick.
My pleasure!
love the little intros telling you what to expect from the boat, keep up the great work!!
Thanks, will do!
This looks like the Land Rover of boats. A great utilitarian pick.
Lovely boat and video nick 🛳🛥🚤👍👍👍👍👍👍
That’s a proper boat, I would love one of those, it’s a landrover on the water 💧 great tour Nick
It's exactly that!
I hope its not the same reliability 🤣🤣🤣
@@robwhite4934 If it is, it will still be working in 50 years time. Those who knock landrovers have no idea how to maintain them.
I love the Nelsons. So simple, rugged and purposeful. The Seawards are beautifully put together. One day…..!
This boat has given me an idea, do you think you would be allowed to film Pathfinder, the pilot boat that works out of Brixham? I think it would be really interesting to have a look around the boat and hear from her crew and from the pilots themselves. Possibly have a trip out to film a transfer too, providing insurance and health and safety policies allow. I have so much respect for the crew of this boat, any time of day, regardless of sea conditions, they go out there. It would be interesting to see how they manage the risks and make something that, to me, appears terrifying possible.
I’m from Brixham - to me that boat always looks bow-heavy in trim. It does not sit well on the water. No doubt about its capabilities tho.
Super boat nick, simple yet does the job with ease. I have seen one of these passing us in a force 9 as a pilot boat, very stable and at speed witch made us at the time a 60ft fishing vessel look like a dingy
It's like a large version of my late 70s Mayland Fisher. Even at 19ft it can do some serious wading with the semi-displacement hull. My hull is basically a scaled down Vospa Torpedo boat and no joke I can stick it about anywhere and it turns on a button. It's only sporting an old 2smoker 75hp evinrude modded to 80hp but sits at 20knot with maybe 75% throttle as its so light. I'd love this boat but I only have maybe £80k for my next venture so I'll need to do some homework to see if I can get something simmilar to this. I cannot wait!
Yes I was wondering what those were. Thanks for explaining it.
Looks like a tough little boat. Simple. I liked it. Thanks for the tour.
Thank you Nick for this nice show of this very need Seaward 29 a nice all weather boat indeed I like this one in come par like a North Star 28 what are also all wheather boats very nice Thanks again Nick a nice start of this week
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Nick.
Smart boat, it Got all what you need.
A great little boat, clean and simple, looks like it could go anywhere. It looks a great place to be on an adventure. Great video as always Nick many thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Brilliant tour yet again Nick! What an amazing boat, simple but amazing. Great work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fab boat...I love it! I bet it is great fun when the sea is a bit lively. Lovely wood interior....and some great touches like the flip steps to the swim platform.
Love this! Ideal day boat/weekend getaway for coastal folk.
great boat, thanks nick!
Nice, practical little boat 😀
Superb, this is a proper boat, more of these please Nick
As an all weather boat was surprised to see the hob wasn’t gimballed.
It doesn't heel like a yacht, so a gimbal would be no use.
Stellar job Nick!
Great tour of a very nice little ship.
If money were no option, I'd love something like this for days I wanted to go out but the weather looked suspect!
Pleasure to watch as usual
Agree, great boat! Having fun with out the sun...
Excellent review and fantastic little boat 😎
Glad you enjoyed it
That's a serious looking machine. Looks great!
Just spent the afternoon going through your house tours that quir quay house is something else 😍
Sure is!
I’m building a trawler about this size. This video was very helpful for cabin layout. Thanks.
What a corker, I love the upgrades. Of course you wouldn't choose a bad day to go boating, but it's very nice to know that you're well protected from anything (short of Storm Arwen!).
Arwen has been unbelievable, living on the Northumberland coast the destruction has been incredible, many of us still have no mains power. Eyemouth recorded 110mph winds and several moored yachts were de masted and overturned.
@@dospalmascb 110mph? I'm not sure tbh. The reason I say that is because I was on loch Ness when they claimed it was 98mph in the area and my Bresser was only showing 74mph. Which is still fast but not nearly as dangerous. My measuring equipment doesn't seem to be matching what the weather offices are saying and I know I'm not the only one. Quite a lot of boaters I know talk about the weather equipment being calibrated for "eco warrior mode" so vastly over reading in all spectrums. BTW I'm not suggesting you're lying as even 65mph winds can make a mess but what would you say? Do you think 100mph is accurate?
A good day! Thanks for the upload Nick!!
My pleasure!
A very impressive boat
"not for spending weeks and weeks on board" I could live full time on this boat comfortably.
Great boats just like a baby Nelson if seen one of these seawards in probably the worst weather you could imagine of Shetland and it just ploughed through as if it was nowt .love them 👍👍👍👍👍
Truck seats. Amazing.
Fantastic!
I would quite happily live on that for a couple of years , and take her down to the Greek islands, perfect for Island hopping and would also be able to take on the rough conditions when things kick off.
Wow great Boat Nick Sir.. Simple and nice flooring... And as always looking Dashing Nick Sir 😍
Love it, thanks for sharing 👍🛥
Glad you enjoyed it
Very nice!
Great. This would be the one. Thanks.
You're welcome!
My older brother has recently retired as a pilot on the humber, his kind of daily commute vessel👍👍
Hi Maggie, Nick. Great video. I think I would go for something else, 300k seams like a lot of money for such a boat, I have seen much better boat deals on your channel. I get this is a great boat and well built however I think I would go for more room and amenities for long trips. - It would be cool to see you & Marianne take off on a week trip on Smugglers Blues or even an RV. Anyhoo see ya soon Nick take care!
Really cool little boat. Something for real boaters I think.
Love the videos. I like the “affordable” but maybe one day you can get one mega yacht
Very nice boat.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Another great review Nick , love when you review a more unusual boat. By the by when are you going to review an Aussie yacht such as a Riviera , you’re missing out 👌
As soon as I get the opportunity! 🙂
Perfect !!
Hi Nick,
Thanks for Showing this workhorse...
1 thing, what you call a Split Door is a real Dutch door.
:)
Got it!
In the US we call those half doors, Dutch doors. For reasons probably lost in antiquity.
Like this quite a lot.
Very basic but obviously well built and fit for purpose. First mention of your Dad Nick. Does he still boat regularly?
He sure does!
@@AQUAHOLIC
Will there ever be a Father and Son meet the owner then? Go on Nick it would be a sure fire winner!
@@kieranharriman7055 Yeeeaa... No! 😄

This boat looks fun , like a second car, to the people who already have a nice 60 footer, or gun runners trying to dodge the navy
Hey Nick, I noticed that helm position can be right left and centre (literally). Maybe you could make a short video explaining the reasoning for location of helms? I also noticed for example on fly ridge boats helms are always on opposite sides indoors vs outdoors.
There is no reason, it's just what works best for the layout of the boat. No roads to drive on one side or the other of! 🙂
They make cracking wkend away fishing boats , my parents have the 42ft one and more or less live aboard it these days!
👍 👍 👍 👏 👏 👏 😍 😍 😍 عالیه دمتون گرم با دادن توضیحات کامل و مفید
Built for the job... lovely
"Anemo" is a loan word from Ancient Greek which means "wind".
Hence, "anemo" + "meter" can be somewhat referred to as a portmanteau or mishmash of words to mean "wind measuring device".
Love it. I want one! Now, where’s that lottery ticket……?
Aloha, brilliant! Mahalo

Hey Aquaholic,
Just spontaneous, what is your favorite go anywhere (ocean crossing) boat?
I’m guessing it would be a nordhavn
QE-2
@@justusanders242 Or Flemming.
That sink in the heads really lets it down.
Picky I know but, just a little bit more thought would lift the look to a less utilitarian fitment. I feel I can safely “diss” the sink as my ST34 has two of them for the galley arrangement. Effective but just lacking that bit of “ahh that’s nice”.
Now that's pocket size dynamite stuff.
As ever, Nice Nick.
Great for those bigger boats(ships) to have as an all weather tender in the med
hi nick.love the boat.my kind of boat just cause i like going out whenever i want.that boat would get a lot of usage for me.the price though.i was thinking more like 250k.if it was it would be perfect but i noticed the last few years.everything is going through the roof.again this is the ultimate 365 days a year boat.may i also mention a meet the owner with your father.it would be a good memory vlog for you and im sure it would be popular with your viewers.time to start coaching your father.lol.;0)
What a col boat. Maybe a Smugglers Blues III 42' in the future?
Hello. Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Nice go any where boat.
Tough little ship there mate.
Lekker man lekker
well that's a Muscle boat if ever I saw one very nice, there's your next owner's boat video Nick your father
Hi Nick!
Will you bring us videos of any of the Rodman’s behind this Seaward? Really love the brand and miss them in your channel
Thanks in advance!
YES! Stay tuned..!
Nick. I have problems with Sea anemones. Try saying that after a few sherberts.
Its lovely, but I'm interested in the boat to the right. Is that a Quicksilver 755 or 855? Any tours of that coming up?
I was just wondering what the scallops on the side were when you said "these are engine vents, in case you were wondering" Spooky. 👻👻👻.
Nice one Nick. Can you tell me why some boats have the helm on the left and most have it on the right? Thanks
Just depends what works best for the layout
Interesting that the wheel is on the left hand side.. I thought that the wheel is traditionally on the right?
I really like the simplicity of this boat, it is a devil dressed as a somewhat mentally disabled chihuahua. This mean-machine will definitely survive 100 feet waves!
A very nice boat Nick, not sure that I'd be willing to pay over $410,000 for one though. Although I will admit it does cram quite a lot into such a small package.
Nice little boat Aqua, Stop saying front and back, your on a boat lol.
How come this 30 ft boat looks larger than your boat or boat you reviewed just a week ago (Sun Seeker 35)?
How about a “meet the owner” with your father and his boat?
Stout.
Safe.
Comfortable.
All within the space of 29 feet. Let's add - Clever.
You may have covered it and I missed it. But I noticed that was a left hand drive. Traditionally, it seems most boats are right hand drive. Is there a reason this one was set up that way?
It's just whatever works best for the layout or whatever the manufacturer chooses. No 'sides' to drive on like a road.
Anemometer
Nick is there any reason why the helm is on different sides on boats?
Not really, whatever works best for the design
First class boat for getting from A to B whatever the weather- but a wonder how many of us need that - a boat to use when the conditions suggest you shouldn’t? Always felt like a Narrow market to me. £365k in full offshore spec…umm
How many Range Rover drivers need serious offroad ability..? 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC a fair point. Just feels as though the Seaward offers rather less than other 28 footers in those areas which matter more to most boat owners - size of accommodation for example, which you referenced in your review. The Range Rover will cost you more but it also offers more, in every department - doesn’t feel like the Seaward does that.
Can we get a “meet the owner” for your dads boat?
