Funnily enough it's not octopi, since the "pi" ending comes from Latin, but octopus is a Greek word. The Greek ending would be "octopodes", but I believe it's correct to say "octopuses" in English. Unless you're referring to jellyfish, of course. Lovely tour as usual, Nick!

I used to think these boats/ships were expensive until i got a job building historic race car engines, we had several cars in the work shop like rare Alfa Romeos and Ferraris ranging from 3 million to 30 million …each!!!!!!! and the people who owned these car normally had 3 or 4 not just 1. kind of puts things into perspective doesn't it

Size does matter. Where is Christmas tree want to ask. Look like it might cost over a million . Classic design , crew accommodation , perfect cabins, restaurant at the cockpit , flybridge looks really spaceable. Lifetime investment one.

If you have 3 million Pounds or Euro, either buy a nice place in a leafy area where the rich live or, buy that boat and an RV like the Merc Atros. And free yourself from prison. Don't like the area? then move. What a way to live.

How resistant would the hull be to orca's attacking it? What's the rudder made from?

QUIET BEYOND THE USUAL, ALREADY GENEROUS, SCALE OF COURSE and with superb quality and taste. I was delighted to see this the first and second time and still am now after the third. One small remark though: how come there's no lift for the guests (I assume that for the crew there must be a dumb waiter at least)? Anyway, brilliant.

I just finished looking at a video of Nordhavn 8003. I am hoping maybe you will get to do a tour of that one as they had. Repack involved in the build, and I must say it is a very. Ice breath of fresh air into the fleet. I hope they continue with it. This boat is nice, but I love the interior in the new one. It looks so bright and modern- not one bit of dark wood!

I think the problem is : sitting area, sitting area, have a look sitting area, where is a waiter want to ask . Anyway boat show are working all time of year and you can choose your layout. I really like brand Sunseeker but sometimes it is looses .

Why do all yachts have an obscene number of CUSHIONS? For an 85ft'er this has a ridiculous number of the infernal things that just get thrown on the floor when people actually want to sit down or got to bed. Maybe start to rank these yachts in "Cushions per foot" order with an end of year award show for the worst offender? Otherwise, nice boat!

So basically they took a V40 and made it better. Exactly what you would expect Princess to do, right? And instead they're canning the V40 (and the F45, as well) next month for good. A textbook case of corporate hubris. Ignore your customers for long enough. Eventually, history will take care of you. What a shame. Bravo to Fairline.

I never get fixed furniture on a boat this size: they're as comfortable as McDonalds chairs. It's fine for a day, but you're not going to relax without constantly having to strategically place cushions in your neck, back and sides.

I was all in until the lithium batteries were shown. When I was in the Air Force flying C141A/Bs Lockheed Starlifters, we couldn't even carry passengers with as little as 5 pounds of lithium batteries. Sorry way to dangerous for me.

The host neglected to show a large storage area under the cabin floor just ahead of the engine compartment that has two stairs down to it and is fitted with plastic bins - very helpful for storing dry goods while cruising. It also has the dc breakers and connections. Having owned a 37F for three years, I concur that it is an extremely practical boat. Every time I think I want something larger, I realize that builders just cram more stuff (another head, another stateroom) and you don't end up with any more practical living space than this boat.
