As much as I love the sports boats that you feature, I don’t think it gets much better than a power cat like this. What an amazing thing.
agreed!
top vibe on this one! love power cats
I’m the opposite. I dislike the narrow, stretched effect/feel of the cabins (by necessity due the hulls) and conversely the big single square area on main deck of catamarans. The helm area should be separate. And the designers somehow seem to take the huge space and make it feel congested. They have done well to make a proper crew cabin with stair access though. Normally they are just dungeons on the fore-decks.
Plus catamarans are flat-out ugly: they look like something you ferry cars to the Isle of Wight with. Not impressed.
“Daughters boyfriend”. lol you muppet nick. Great tour as always, she’s a stunning vessel
Apparently you can also just have too much space on board? "Oh, there's room for a cabin here too, but wait a minute, there's still room here too." Just because you can, hahaha. Well done, Nick!
As a typical "daughter's boyfriend", I can see myself being quite happy in that tiny cabin up in the bow.
Space everywhere….except in the engine rooms. Otherwise an absolutely incredible catamaran , the best you have ever shown Nick. Thank you.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
That motor is in there tight.
Wow ! As mentioned before, I've never been a fan of Catamarans BUT this one SCREAMS, LOVE ME, I'M FUN !! The moment you went inside it was so warm and inviting ! Never too much "empty/lost space" so you put "stuff" to fill a void and yet enough space so you don't feel claustrophobic !! That "owners hull" for a better word is awesome !! That spare section could be for exercise etc. but I'm with you, editing, or heck even a private bar ! Really love this Cat, thanks for not giving up on me ! LOL ! Thank you Nick, safe travels !!
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
What a massively lovely boat.
So much room. So well equipped.
So nicely finished.
Thanks to everyone at Sunreef and Nick for this tour.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
The amount of space on the main deck is amazing. Sorta sold on these boats now. Great tour Nick.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
I was not a fan of cats to begin with but they have grown on me from following you and nauti. The bigger ones have sooo much space, it's mind boggling. Cracking yacht.
Great party space and pleasantly sized cabins. A while back the Voyage590 grabbed my attention. Do prefer mono hulls though. At least I now know where to put the daughters boyfriend! 😊 Thanks Nick
Very nice. Sunreef does an excellent job. I especially like the forward cockpit
Such a gorgeous boat, it's incredible how much extra room they have on them, so much so this one's fitted with a brig lol
Impressive! I really love some of these power cats!
Incredible space and comfort. Would be amazing for entertaining. Great video. 🇦🇺 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
It’s so great to see Maggie’s bag back in the mix!
Nick, fine tour, interesting to see what Sunreef did with oceans of space. For a couple of reasons I was underwhelmed by the layout. The main salon area is not the conducive to socializing among guests -- there is just one settee along the port side and people seated there will be staring at the blank side of the galley island. The galley takes up too much space -- there should be a U-shaped settee facing easy chairs or another settee forwward in the salon and a U-shaped galley aft. The interior was one monolithic series of gray walls -- bland and boring to me. But no doubt someone will disagree completely with my take, buy the boat and enjoy it immensely. Thanks again for showing us an interesting yacht.
She is beautiful ❤️
Nice tour Nick 👍
Thanks 👍
It’s such a fun thing to get a chance to see the inside of these amazing boats. It would be difficult otherwise. Thank you.
My pleasure!
Oh 😳 wow, now that's what i call splendid, stupendous, and special power cat. She fast stylish lovely decor very spacious lots of storage and lots of room for people to move around inside and outside. The flybridge just compliments the rest of the cat, added so much to the the use of the boat. So much potential to do what owners want. She very versatile. Love her. 😊
You always say that you will edit it out later and you never do and I love it. Adds some fun to the videos.
I never knew you were a wizard! haha Great tour, as ever.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
This vessel, measuring just 18.3 meters (60 ft) in length, has an impressive beam of 10.70 meters (35.1 ft). A traditional superyacht with a beam of 10.70 meters typically falls within the length range of roughly 40 to 60+ meters (131 to 197 ft).
looks like there was a fold down TV in the main living space?
Great size family and social boat.Nice.
Wooow absolutely beautiful! Well done Nick!
My pleasure!
Another top-notch video, just a couple of things, was there a washing machine in the cupboard at the bottom of the stairs to the master cabin ? and I'm not sure I agree with your sleeping arrangements, in my experience it's always better to keep the boyfriends of daughters in sights not in a secluded den. Cheers
Outside lock on the hatch, problem solved.
The Sunreefs' are really something ! Great tour - thanks Nick!
Glad you like them!
Great party boat!
You can stuff the teenagers in that little cubby.
Cats just work. Once you are at 50’ you can easily fit 4 comfortable double ensuited cabins (or 3 if you go for an owner’s hull). And you get enormous kitchen/living…and alfresco dining on deck. You can see why so many cruising families gravitate towards them.
If you want space then this is the way to go, so much room it's like you say you don't know what to do with it all. I like the layout and finishes on her. Great tour Nick thank you. ps I know you pay by length if you have a berth for your vessel but does WIDTH come into it as well, just a thought.
Thanks Nick! 😊
My pleasure! 🙂
Fantastic party yacht, just lovely 😀 All that costs a dollar or two, but so much space is just awesome 😀 Thanks for the tour 😊
Thank you AQUAHOLIC compliment video brilliant explanation exhaustive Yacht Tour Sunree F 60 Power 2021 $ 5 Million beautiful.
The space on catamarans is always vast and very tempting should I ever be able to afford one!
Cheers Nick
Great review Nick, love a Cat, great in heavy seas, superb at anchor and shed loads of space.👍🏴
That’s thoughtful of them to put space for a music studio/longboard storage right next to the owners cabin 😀👍
Just incredible, So much room they really didn't know what to do with it all . That room in the owners hull could be used for anything but for a long cruise maybe use it for food storage? Would really like to know what the range would be at 8-10 knots .. 2000-3000 mile range? A mystery to solve lol, thanks for the video. Love the yacht.
Beautiful catamaran and another good video Nick 🚤🛥️⛵️👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
All of the comments saying how tight the engine room is, this layout isn’t that bad. I work on marine diesels for a living and trust me it gets much worse than this.
Nice cat! Thanks for sharing!👍👍
Thanks for watching!
@@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
Nice boat, love the interior, but must admit for that money I would go 1.5m down and choose a Silent60 or the 55, while I dont remember the channel, I saw that a 60 had taken the trip from the US to the Med only using the diesel gen for 20% of the trip
Hi Nick, And what a start for this week almost a superyacht this Sunreef is big this Sunreef 60 Power with a big salon and galley in one 2 or 3 guest rooms then i count the crew space as overflow for guest de oyher 2 are very spacious also the master very nice and when you have only daughters you have 2 spaceses for the boy frends thats great Thank you Nick a great show on this Tuesday ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
A lot of space for a 60' boat. Thanks for another great video.
You're very welcome! 🙂
It's a beast of a boat
Now it's Tuesday!! 🎉
Good ole Maggie, never too far from the bar!
😄
Mirror wave never gets old. this one was hilarious
👋🏻
For a minute I thought you'd missed the chance to confine the daughters boyfriend. I apologise for doubting you.
It's a very nice boat, I'd want some changes to the layout and don't like the fact there is no hanging locker in one of the cabins but otherwise it's very impressive at the price point.
ANOTHER FLAWLESS YACHT TOUR
THANKS NICK AQUAHOLIC
🏝👙🍾👙🥂👙🥃🎉
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
A very vast #catamaran indeed. Although I do not fancy the colors of the linens, thankfully this is an easy change out. Many thanks for a #Sunreef tour! 🍷
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
OH the choices. Sunreef have the storage space at back, but Lagoon have the much better windows and rear-cabin access.
I think that might have been Nico Rosbergs old boat, I think it featured on one of his own videos, the silver arrows colours could be a clue!
His new one is all electric
I love how much beam you get in a power cat.
Everything is super...but the space in the engine room is dramatically limited! Imagine doing maintenance or solving any problem, would be so difficult to work on!
Very nice cat with loads of space. Decent cabins. Fly bridge is also great for parties. Definitely configurable for personal preferences. Thank you Nick~! :))
its really amazing to see how all yacht manufacturers are now adding a white "Maggie" bag to the Sterns ... well done Nick! :)
That empty storage room looks like a great place for a laundry and an office.
I can genuinely feel the concern in his voice when that first cabin didn’t having a hanging locker.
The definition of VAST
That is massive. Bigger than some apartments.
your slipping up you forgot the chain locker lol
The bow could surely have some more hooks for sunbed cushions I think.
I thought the little cabins in the bows were quite adequate for crew. My crew sleep in the dinghy with a tarp over and they’re very happy. Oh and they get a blanket as well.😊
Had the luck recently to have a trip in a new RR Phantom - it would nearly fit in the garage on this one.
Great episode as always and I must admit to great respect for your ability to edit a tour so that it works so well.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
Weird...never seen an "empty" space on a boat like that. Part of me thinks there has to be a bunch of stuff hidden away behind the blank panels...like maybe a fold out work bench or something...but if it is not that I have to figure it's a yoga studio. 😜
I wish Nick had opened up those lift up sections on all the stairs...I am sure that there was access to escape hatches under them, but were they also storage spaces, and if so how big?
A superyacht is like a Manhattan highrise multi-bedroom loft apartment. To me though, a catamaran is like a log cabin. Luxurious, cozy but not crowded and very 'family'-centric usually.
Having been househunting on a budget last year, a lot of the furnishings and floors etc of this and a lot of newer boats reminds me of the sort of cookie-cutter new build stuff that was at the more affordable end of the market for 3br homes that were for sale for around the 600k AUD range in the newer suburbs of melbourne. Or like a houseboat you can rent on the Murray river for about 1500 for a few nights. Good value for money and sensible especially if you need the space. I appreciate you can't sail those houses around the Med but for 5 million I'd want some actual luxury and I think stuff like Nordhaven have nicer looking fit outs.
Really getting to love these cats. Actually, Aquila 54 is 1 of my dream boats. This is really interesting how it has "lounging areas" in the salon. I think that space forward of the owner's cabin would become a utility/storage space. Maybe tie the forward part into that tiny extra cabin and make it usable, if you want. Only thing I didn't like was the engine room, nothing was very getatable.
I think it’s just me, but there’s something bothering me about the main cabin, it looks like if you were to pull out those stools from the bar area in the middle, it looks like they would block access through the cabin and you would have to walk the other side of the galley (where people might be trying to do some cooking)
Then there’s a slightly odd ‘raised lounge area’ behind what looks like quite a thin row of seating behind the table so if you want to get to that you potentially have to climb over people to get to the lounge area by the windows… Also there are lots of stools bunched up underneath the table, where would they go, if they were pulled out it looks like they will block access through the middle of the boat, especially if the barstools were pulled out… Also the back wall of the galley has a lot of cushioned padding behind it
- I guess that’s just the roof of the cabins downstairs but it’s a shame there couldn’t have been some storage built into that, I’m not convinced by the main deck layout sadly, but as always I’m absolutely loving the tours and the reviews, thanks Nick, in no way meaning to be negative, just not quite clicking with me on this particular main deck layout! 😳
It always surprises me when I see these cats. The room available is amazing. Hard to visualize unless you see it. I was really impressed with the cabin size. Impressive salon area as well. Very nice. I always wonder what the advantage might be to a catamaran, as opposed to a v - hull or displacement hull. Stability in rough water?
No joke , the galley is bigger than my kitchen at home
The daughters boyfriend 😂😂😂 Spot on 👍
If I had money enough to be considering a large boat, I think I would go with a catamaran - the space is amazing.
What a beast! 💪😎👍✨
Nice boat too explore Fuerteventura )
Daughters boyfriend! Excellent! 🤣🤣🤣
The stairs had hinges. More storage? or service areas?
Incredible boat.
If I'm being honest, i'd have to say that I've never been impressed by Sunreef catamaran interiors. Nice tour as always though.
Love
Ordering one tomorrow if i win the lotto tonite >.
🤞
Amazing boat and a typically great tour to boot.
How do running costs with powercats compare to monohulls? Would this 60’ be similar to a 80’ monohull for mooring, maintenance etc? 🤷🏼♂️
I love watching these videos even tho I've never been on a boat... But we can all dream tho can't we.
Absolutely! Dreaming is free 🙂
“I’ll edit that out later on . . . “ - Nick, mate, we all know that’s not gonna happen ;) lol
😄
I thought at first they had spoiled the layout with the big cabin, but the empty space could have a couple of bunks and shower etc..
Really surprised about the additional cabin at the back! Great size and use of space. I think coming from a working back ground i would have opted for 4 identical berths + the captains cabin.
The kitchen area should run parallel to the front and over to the right at a low height, that would free up a lot of space that the current galley takes up for seating and entertainment.
Nice materials, nothing garish!
Another nice video, keep up the good work and please package some of that sunshine and send it home. No jokes about it going astray in the Post needed!
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
a boat with so much space they don't know what to do with it LOL
What a beautiful wide open boat it just amazes me how much more you can get in a catamaran than a boat of the same length
Beautiful loved this one 👍👍👍
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
Love these cats.
Does anyone know what make/model the boat stuck under the bridge was and was it damaged ?
It was the Silent VisionF 82. It appears that there was a problem with the battery package, as it was a hybrid version. It is reported to have been completely destroyed.
I feel that Sunreef need the interior designers from Sunseeker to join the Sunreef team to help up their game on interiors. Don’t get me wrong.. they are nicely finished but they could be so much more elegant and finely finished. For the price bracket, I’d probably expect more.
Volume on steroids Nick
Nick, here's a question for you...
How long would a conventional mono hull yacht have to be, to get the same amount of internal & flybridge space, as this 60ft catamaran?
Second favorite type of boat right after a trawler, but this one has me puzzled. What I like most about boats (and RVs and tiny houses) is the extra thought that goes into using every available space. Somehow I'm not getting that impression here, and I find that somewhat disappointing. Still, I'm sure it'll find the right buyer, especially after seeing this excellent tour!
Is there any chance you can tell us the beam size when you get on the boat at the beginning of the videos please ❤
That’s a nice cat, but I have a bit of a problem with cats. Now, it’s taken me a long time to figure it out and it’s the imbalance between accommodation and outside space.
This beauty sleeps six, but the outside areas are suited for many more people. Do you actually need so much outdoor space for a six-berth cruiser? Does that extra space justify the extra cost over a 60 foot monohull?
I’d be interested in other opinions.
The room you don’t know what its purpose was is … you were correct. A gym.
Is that a hot tub under the cushions at the front?
No but they are standard on the 70 and 80 foot models and can be optioned for this.
EDIT: maaaaybe. I thought this was the one NautiStyles toured but it isn't.
I don't see why not. With any ship like this I could see a 4 person tub being stashed away as a great idea.
The boat looks like it is set up primarily for entertainment and not for family use although buyers can specify their own cabin requirements. I don't see it being designed for any serious travel other than offshore. Real ly something for the charter industry. Its more of a luxury apartment on water.
So what was the source of noise in the master cabin? I wouldn’t be able to deal with it. Ahead of the master was originally a gym.
5:04 You never do. 😀
