- I bought this at Treasure Factory, a thrift shop here in Japan. It's a really well done knock-off of a Martin dreadnought. It cost me all of 9,000円 with tax (about $80).
The abalone inlay is fake, but the wood seems to be good quality. The nut and saddle are bone, the tuning pegs are not stock and there's a pickup in it, so it was probably upgraded a bit by the previous owner. It has a nice looking three piece back (rosewood/maple/rosewood) and the fretboard is really easy on the fingers, but the neck still has that beefy Martin feel.
I see a lot of knock-off guitars in Japan and they're generally ok at best, but every once in a while...
Recorded with a SonTronics Saturn. - Hudba
Nice playing
nice tone mate. solid spruce?
I found a1984 sf335 for 40.00 used maybe 5times.is that a good find?
Yes, that guitar is worth $3500. Better go buy it!
buenas saludos como se llama esa canción que tocas empezando esta en sol mayor es muy buena es un contry suena a ese estilo
solid spruce top?
Yep!
@@tonewisemusicnice! you have any idea if the kiso suzuki w-300 too are solid spruce top? Just can't find details about it in the net
top material? solid spruce?
As far as I know these were all made with natural spruce tops back then.
Any chance of you selling in near future?
How much do you think it costs?
Sounds pretty good considering the poor mic placement.
Didn't feel like setting up a bunch of stuff for this. Just didn't want only a cell phone mic on it. 😅
It's a copy of the Martin D35
No it's not. A D45 would have hexagon inlays on the fretboard plus abalone down the sides and front of the fingerboard extension on the body.
@@tommym9735 Actually it's more like a 28
@@RockStarOscarStern634 No it's not as a D28 would not have abalone inlay around the body😂
@@tommym9735 Then what Guitar is it more like?
