I think Molly is lowkey shocked at Issa’s progression in life. Issa may be slow but she’s steady. I think often times we see college/ educated ppl who “ made it” as the American ideal... obviously Issa doesn’t fit that mold, so for her to put this event together was quite impressive and in today’s standard being an entrepreneur can be more lucrative than a 9-5!

I like the way that this show is revealing the demons of people who “look good on paper”. Everyone looks at Issa like she is a mess but let’s be real at least Issa is trying to do the work. She doesn’t have it together but she isn’t lying about it either. Molly seems to have everything but is still miserable and shady. Condola is successful and beautiful but she still doesn’t know what she wants and put her personal feelings before business. She also lied to herself. Tiffany has the baby and the husband but is falling a part at the seams. Kelly is funny and intelligent but is still faking like she is British to impress someone who probably really does not care. I think the assumption at first was that Issa was the insecure one but in reality it’s everyone else đŸ€·đŸœâ€â™€ïž

If Andrew is a truth teller, I hope he tells Molly about how she showed out at Issa’s block party!

Andrew ain’t none of Molly’s husband. She can’t dictate who he does favors for or networks with. Issa was not wrong, she was handling business! Molly was all the way wrong..

Issa did NOT go behind Molly's back...Molly laid the boundary, she did not want to be involved because of what that could do to her relationship with Asian bae. Ok cool...Issa didn't involve herđŸ€·đŸœâ€â™€ïž

I don’t see how Issa was wrong for reaching out to Nathan. Nathan is the reason Molly & Andrew even crosses paths. The way I look at it is it was a courtesy to ask you first because you’re my friend. Let’s also be clear that Nathan and Andrew’s friendship is probably tighter than the f-buddy relationship between Andrew and Molly.

I feel that Molly should have confronted her in a private setting.

Can we talk about the fact that Molly wouldn’t even be with Andrew if it wasn’t for Issa? That she had to convince Molly to even talk to him after she expressed her apprehension because of his ethnicity? Molly’s issues are many but one of the most prominent ones is that she lacks self awareness.......it’s damn near pathologic.

Yes! This is the 2nd event that Issa held that ended with Molly starting an argument with Issa. Molly and Issa’s dynamic seems to stem from Molly being the “success story” and Issa being the “awkward, broke girl”. Now that Issa is becoming more focused, Molly is offended. Calling her a user was a reach...she was network and as a friend, you wouldn’t hoard your resources.

I came to the conclusion that ALL Issa's friends are trash. The fact that Nathan, Andrew, and Condola has uplifted, encouraged and helped out more than her own friends speaks VOLUMES! When Kellie was saying she didn't believe in Issa's idea that hurt me like I knew them lol. Molly extended an olive branch ONLY after Andrew reminded her that putting this together took real manpower (mainly Issa's time/effort). This was such a wake-up call episode. Not just about the block party, but about how we show up in each other's lives.

Molly doesn’t want to hang with Kelly or Tiffany because to those two Molly is hot mess. Remember season 1 when they were roasting Molly and Issa had to jump in and check them.

I don’t think Issa was wrong at all for contacting Nathan and having him ask Andrew. She just did some problem solving and worked out the situation in a different way.

This episode basically explains why we need to remove “Molly” type characters out of our lives. At the beginning of the episode, Molly did not even want to go to this event, because she already knew it was a disaster, so she thought. It took her boyfriend to convince her. Then, she had the nerve to say “I’m your best friend!” when before she was refusing to go! At this point, Molly is man driven! She couldn’t spur up the strength to appreciate Issa’s event without Andrew! Then, I personally feel that Issa did not request Nathan to contact Andrew. I think Nathan is Andrew’s homeboy and so happen to mentioned it to him. As a way back to Issa’s heart. It just came out as though she went to Andrew. Furthermore, Molly was out of pocket! I did not see nothing wrong with her man, who is grown and independent, going to help Issa. Out of anyone, she should have been mad at him for not telling her. Molly has revealed herself! Maya Angelou said it, “if someone shows you who they are believe them”! For Condola, she was placed there for the moment to have a female character to believe in Issa. Do I think she was trash for dropping her, of course, but people are only there for a season. So, I agree with your statements here! Andrew finna drop her because if my mate did that to their “best friend”, I would be questioning what they will do to me!

Condola was wrong for ghosting Issa. But, she was still more supportive than Molly as she sent Issa some interns and came to the event to check in with the vendors. That really makes me give Molly the side eye. Molly doesn't want Issa to be successful.

Molly is the friend who has issues but finds solace in the fact that Issa is doing worse than here. At least you know she’s broke and always needs help. These ppl aren’t your friend for pure reasons. They’re your friends bc misery loves company. If you level up, they’re made bc the company to their misery is leaving.

Molly is the worst kind of friend! You don't need a friend who loves putting you down and doesn't want to see you win. Molly finally got a man and now she wants to shit on her friend.

I think Issa meant Nathan for a reason because of him pushing her out of her comfort zone to do the block party ,to leave her dead end job and to follow her dreams. She alll about working in the community. I believe without him the Block party would of never existed. Condola was only there for a season to help her with the block party because condola has connections with the right people!!!
