it has been 2 years ago since I put this on my truck...they work super great..but I sold my tuck to my dad..his old and wants to remove the spacer on the truck and leave it original...do you think I still be able to leave the UCA ...will not have problems with aliment...thanks...and great product 👍
Will these fit a 2010 Ford expedition el
Does this help with Camber at all?
Will they fit 04 f150 2wd with 2.5 lvl
What are some suggestions on upper control arms. I have a 2006 f150 4x4, running 275/65r20 with Rancho Quicklift. Hoping to switch to 5100’s or fox 2.0 at some point. Right now I’m getting coil contact and any bump in the road feels like I have no suspension travel. Want to be able to run my factory 20” wheels. Also don’t want to break the bank.
Check out our F150 control arm page and watch the video at the top, it should give you a good idea of the direction to go when buying UCA's

Stage 3 Motorsports appreciate the helpful reply. Steered me in the right direction
Don't these joints have to be greased? I don't see that in the install video - just o-ring greasing.
The grease cert is under the dust cap.
can i put this on my 05 f150 fx4 with a 2.5 leveling kit????
Depending on your wheel/tire setup you should be able, give us a call to get an upper control arm for your truck 623-434-5277
Can this product be install on a 2005 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer?
We, or BDS, have not confirmed fitment on the Expeditions
My wheels have a back spacing of 5" and I am running 12.5 wides with a 4' lift..... Will this fit?
Will this fit my 305/65r17 tire with a 0 offset wheel?
Hi my 2018 reg. Cab is lowered 3/5 with jdm lower control arms. Will this fit or is it just for lifted trucks?
I am not completely sure to be honest. Give us a call and we can look into it further for you. An issue I might forsee is if you are running a bigger wheel/tire size or abnormal offset wheel that will interfere with an aftermarket control arm that is in a different location at the top of the knuckle than stock. Give us a ring and we can find out more info for you. 623-434-5277
Stage 3 Motorsports ok thanks for the response.I upgraded to 20" ford factory rims and it is the stock upper control arm.If it helps you in your research.thanks again.😀
Why did you guys put in the icon stage three, and then install the BDS arms on this truck, but decided to go with the fox coilovers and the icons dynamics arms on the other?
This actually is not an Icon stage three kit on our Overland build. It is the Icon 2.5 remote reservoir front coilovers, Icon 2.0 reservoir rear shocks, and BDS upper control arms. What is the other truck you are referencing with the Fox coilovers and Icon arms?
The castle nut rides above the cotter pin bore, thus completely defeating the purpose of having a cotter pin. With that kind of quality control, I would't consider these things at half their price, which is ridiculous to begin with. Overpriced aftermarket junk.
I have a 08 f150 with a 6in rough country lift. Im looking to fix my control arm angle. Will these help?
Cody , I my self are looking for the answer to this question, did you ever get an answer !?
@@banette36 I never got a response but I did put these on my truck and I think they helped with keeping my alignment and angles on spec
Thanks Cody !
I've been searching the internet for a while now and I have not gotten a more direct answer than yours.. thank you sir.!
Seems like if the answer keeps them from a sale they don't answer.
Is there any made for 6in lift or can I use any
I put these on my 2006 f150 with a 6 inch lift.
@@eljefedejefes7469how are they
@@ThatBoyMichael1 they look great nice and beefy pretty easy to install. You do have to take your strut off though.
Love Bds.
Love those method rims to.
What are the name of those rims???
Those are the Method NV's! Check them out on our site via the link! www.stage3motorsports.com/MRWMR30578516300-2004-2014-17x8-5-F150-Method-NV-Wheel-Machined-Black-Lip.html
So you’re just gonna skip half the steps in it?😂genius move bud
Will these work for a 2004 2wd f150
I think it would!
Have you tried did it work
Works?
Should tighten uca inners whith vehicle weight on it. :/
Why
@@ThatBoyMichael1 because it will prematurely wear the rubber bonded uca bushings and ride terrible as they are torqued at full droop. Suspension should be torqued at rest with vehicle weight on it.
They say removing the shock isn’t necessary for the love of god and all that’s holy remove your shock and when reinstalling the bolts put the bolt through the outside instead of in thank me later
$700 For upper control arms??? GFTOH...
I ran 3 inch strut spacers on my 08 Expedition, kept the factory control arms. Amazingly enough, the ball joints were still fine after 11 years before I traded it in. $700 for a set of upper control arms is an absolute marketing scam. Probably costs a total of $200 in parts and labor, if that, to produce a pair of these things. Ridiculous waste of money.
@@Sagittarius-88 I got a 2016 f150 4x4 on 3 inches in front. I ripped my stock UCA's in 2 weeks, and one failed last week pulling out of my driveway. NO damage luckily. I think its all the lift/suspension you run, and how hard you beat it. (to that though, I only bought $350 arms. $700 is crazy)
These BDS UCA only give u 1% caster then stock. Fuckin rip off
