Funny the small engine repair expert didn’t know dis. Maybe his next BS (recorded only on Monday’s) daily video will show the mouse nest in the combustion chamber?
Dang, I was just badmouthing Husqvarna and here they have their own tool box included. Only the second brand I've seen do that. Many have shear pin storage, but not a whole tool box.
My mother had a 1830sb, 2010 model and the dealership removed anything extra on it I blew a belt twice and the cover never went back on right then for some reason a rock got in there don't ask me how I have no idea and will not turn the auger burning belts I got that fixed and I told mother it is not powerful enough to do what we need we get 20 ft drift sometimes in our driveway now we got our Briggs and Stratton one and I love it but I still can't pull over the damn thing lol
Do you know anything about the axle the friction disc sits on? There is some kind of device there that I am not sure if its greaseable or not, its on the axel right side of the friction disc.. the unit makes a horrendous grindy noise when moving around like it needs seriously lube somewhere but I can't figure it out..
I also have one of these, and there is no zerk fitting on the shaft. I guess a lot of them are like this now, so you have to bring it in or buy another. That shaft needs grease, but guess what...you can't grease it without taking the whole thing apart. Frustrating.
That (metal--cast aluminum or stainless steel clad) hand mixer should have remained in the junk yard! At 0:20 in the 22Aug19 video misrepresents all natural baking. The inside mixing bucket has obvious pitted corrosion & decomposing metal posing a serious health threat potentially contaminating any food prepared in it. At 1:09 the crank device has extensive pitted corrosion & decomposing metal potentially flaking into raw ingredients. Ghosh how can both nitwits be so alarmingly stupid introducing toxic foreign matter baked into foodstuffs to the unfortunate offspring is irresponsible.
@@timcat1004 you would need to look at that particular bolt that was installed during manufacturing. If it’s a Grade 2 steel then it will shear, if it’s a Grade 4 or 5 then the Auger shear bolt is the only shear protection from having the gear box melt. In my unit it is a bolt, but many are different of course.

Not a shear pin by the bearing, that is the bolt that attaches the auger to the side bearing shaft.
It's a shear pin incase the bearing fails.

What model is this? I have an ST 124 and it doesn't seem to have any secret spots for extra shear pins. :-(
I'm not going out there right now. Dang near a blizzard and minus 20 right now. I bought it Dec 2013 if that helps.
Replacing that pin would have stymied for weeks the old guy wearing mom jeans & greasy outback hat.
Lol true that.
I didn't even know it was broken until after I watched all 2000 of Troys videos.
