@@johnc7414 at the time, i thought that was the only way to change the belt. that was 3 years ago and it was 4 bolts to drop the auger, but more work was needed for the belt tensioner...

Nice if you to help your neighbors. The newer models don’t need to be completely separated like you did but hinges open. Not sure of your model.

Why did you gut your machine just to change the belt? I have the same machine. After the plastic cover there is only 4 bolts.
