#ebike Most of my braking was done on the rear wheel. I doubt I could have steered around him if I was hard braking on the front. I luckily recovered from the front death wobble. I'm old. I did not realise until after that ha saw his mistake and was going to wait for me to pass on his left. My brain said nope. Instinct kicked in and I went around him on his right. That was a lot of thinking in ...

EcoFlow Delta Pro Solar Panel Upgrade

This is Timcat and the off grid homestead. Tryna make Troy jealous one video at a time. With this setup I have reduced my grid-tied solar consumption by 50 percent, this enables me to sell more energy back to the grid and import less at night. Plus it is backup power in a grid down situation. During the warmer months my mini split air conditioner will be running 100% off grid.

If you account for inflation over the decade, it's ridiculously inexpensive today to utilize sun power in most areas in the United States. Great video!
A friend of mine and I rode our Harley's from Texas to Banff and on the back way stopped there. He had been a T-33 instructor and fortunately saw the T-33 on the pylon in front. We had a great visit with the really nice folks and decided we'd just start stopping at museums since the scenery had been about as good as it gets. We ended up visiting the SAC museum in Omaha to top off the trip.
Good for you Nanton and congratulations for all those hard working guys that put this plane together. Its a real prize to have it.
Imagine dozens of them with their engines running ready to go on "ops"....
Was this Warbird Lancaster built in Canada?
I'm not sure. Probably. My Grandpa worked at a plant installing instruments, so I've been told.
Malton Ontario built Lancs. At the time my uncle was a civilian flight instructor. When a certain number were built, they filled them with spare parts and flew them to England for use in WW2.
Yes, it was.
Do the other two engines run? Hope so. Nice to see life in another Lanc.
Nice options.
Holy crap, the mountain of aggravation you saved me. Thanks man!
Very nice solar setup. I have four 450 watt panels, a LiTime 60amp controller, three 100ah Power Queen LiFePo4 batteries and a 2000 watt LiTime inverter. I am still slowly adding stuff and upgrading as solar is my hobby and addiction. Greetings from Jamaica.
What is the max input voltage of your LiTime?
@@timcat1004 Maximum solar input voltage is 150v. I also have a Rich Solar 40amp controller with one of the 450 watt panels charging the same battery bank.
@@lawrencedavidson6195 I'm looking for a charge controller closer to 250 VDC
I just started my solar power project after the 2021 deep freeze in Texas and am amazed at how quickly the price has dropped and the quality has improved in the short time. I don’t regret getting started sooner even though I paid more. I paid cash and will recover the investment in a couple of years.
Blame for what? He pulled out about 5 seconds in front of you (it took you 5 seconds to get to the intersection). Then he slowed down looking for something, you still did not do anything. Your response is very last second. Good save? Rather luck, because the situation was cooking for a long time and you did not react.
you
At fault is the US code which says you use red turn indicators that arent visible. The guy had his indicator on and you didnt see it.
up yours. Us code also says you must indicate 80 feet before the turn. Watch again her turned his blinker on just as he started the turn.
@timcat1004 indicator went up at 0:05 and gap between you and the car was at least 80 feet you just had too much speed and didn't pay attention. Go have your eyes checked or pay more attention you could harm other drivers
What materials did you use to Build This? I want something like this for my Setup
1:50 You're Really TALL, Lol
Its Troys fault. Just saying.....
It's Trudeau's fault.
I think you can share the blame, Tim. He shouldn't have pulled out in front of you in such a hurry, and you were obviously going too fast. 🚴
To fast for what? I was actually doing 10 under the speed limit. It's guys like him as to why I bought the handle bar cam. Fuck that was close. I did learn from it though. Think about all the things the brain is dealing with. Throttle wide open, feet going, moving left and right hand to the brakes, right hand putting more brakes than the left hand, steering wobble, do I keep going left or do I try and go around? That was a lot of shit going on in the brain all at once. Nice recovery though.
@@timcat1004 Huh? You’re saying you couldn’t possibly stop? Please
@@Ont785 Where did I say that?
White pick up could not wait at corner for your vehicle to pass then enter street? What is the urgency to make a left hand turn 25' later? Was it a liquor store or a maggot infested dumpster to dive into or did he spy the perfect place to pan for gold? Glad to spare yourself a day in traffic court & interview with auto insurance agent.

Glad you are exploring trails on the e-bike, nice gaggle of Canadian geese some regard them as purveyors of unwanted lawn fertilizer.
Im not sure that you need advice but in my opinion it's best to run your airconditioners as much as possible from solar during the day because they use significantly more power when it's hot. Im not talking about trivial numbers it can be 25% pretty easily from what Ive seen. Minisplits are difficult to see and compare the differences because theyre variable, but central and window units is very obvious. Have you paid attention to their consumption during different temperatures/times and factored that into your timing of running them?
I toggle between the grid tied solar and the battery solar. My minisplit sips 300 watts when I only need a little bit of cooling. It cranks up to 1100 watts when it can't reach target. That is when I switch to my old non inverter minisplt that maxes out at 900 always. I have it all under control. My goal is to use the off-grid array as much as possible.
Thanks for the update!
I will wait for your 2035 update - if man is still alive.
Mono perc bifacial, all paralell, gravel ground mount with white marble. anchors in front and stakes in rear. busted panel frames for rear stakes and self tap screws to prop to 20 degrees. cheap, safe effective. Then use the outback inverter chargers, if you can do 3500w then they work GREAT and they ARE EFFICIENT and are easy to install, the ONLY thing they need is a isolation switch. Then if you need 240, just have two tied together. Then for batteries ALWAYS go with lifepo4 and just get the 320ah cells, 16 to make 48v for efficeincy and cheaper copper wires. They can be ordered direct from china, under 1000 dollars for 16kwh and they are legit. then you can diy the bms its really simple and its a steal when its all installed. Mount all of it in a sams or costco rolling cabinet, or fasten one to the wall and wire it up, add cement board on the back for a most safe system Used panels (500)-1000 i got 5000w of panels for 200 which is dirt cheap mount free rock 100 wire 60 outback used 1000 ea cells 1000 bms 120 cabinet 200 wire to house 100 other 250 ALL- 3330, off grid safe, clean effective, lots of power, enough to get you through overcast days, and hot summers off grid doable 365 days a year
Fascinating and informative.
I've had 5.0 KWH solar panels since 2015... my electricity bill is $35 per month. and it's cut down my heating bill to $75 in January, in Saskatchewan.... I'm not sure if I've paid them off yet, but, my bills are sure cheap!
I'm in Alberta. We have what they call a solar club. We switch to 30 cents a kWh in the summer and switch to the lower rate in the winter. I pay nothing for power and most of my gas is covered by the extra solar credits.
I'm just now trying to do something similar. Just bought the Ecoflow Delta Ultra Pro, waiting for it to arrive. I haven't bought any solar panels yet, gotta research on the most cost effective setup for that. Planning to test it by putting a few panels on a Lifetime plastic shed near my garage.
1.68 kWh wow, big money! That's, what, 24¢? Your solar arrays are amazing!

Been through a few tornados in Kansas, always hail big enough to crack a windshield, leave dents on the hood & roof of the car, one can kiss the sideview mirrors goodby too. Most folks look for a highway overpass to park underneath, gets crowded. A masochistic personality would have taken you up on going out in that downpour for a few bucks, best to stay inside.

Cool song...Have you heard that Troy has been missing for 3 months...No goodbye or nothing. Do you think that drone finally took him out?
Betcha TR had to save up for a box of ammo to lock & load in the "terminator" in order to combat another fictitious spy drone. Maybe one of those unsafe rusty vehicles broke down up at preacher of preparedness Bible camp & the cleansing light of day got too hot 🔥. Recall TR's life long avoidance of physical labor, calluses on those dainty hands & propensity to overheat easily from the mildest exertion. Imagine Bible camp had a fainting couch in the shade just for him.
I think his fence blew over and un-alived him.
Memories & memorials are important you may seek an easel, plate displays, a shelf with a lip at the edge and a routed channel to hold your precious memories. Most available at various home decor stores or a handyman's workshop made to order or a lucky find at a flea market or estate sale.
I found what I need on Amazon. Very nice setup I have got going now. Will upload a follow up vidja.
