@@gradymcclintock6160 it does have speaker strokes in some of the building at the beginning. When he pulls it it has the horn strobes and some of it they should take out the horn strobes and put speaker strobes.
@@jacobisworld9516I like speaker strobes too. But in my opinion horn strobes are more accurate. Because they have the code 3 tone that any alarm can make and is louder. Students also can hear the horn strobes better. When the speaker strobes were code 3 I liked them better than the horn strobes. But now they are boring voice evacuation and code 3 is my favorite tone. So I would say I like the horn strobes better.
@@gradymcclintock6160 like all high schools in the US and each state even DC needs speaker strobes same as middle schools and elementary schools. If they’re more than one floor, I wish for fire alarms they could just discontinue the Horn Strobe Fire Alarm strobes and forget about the horn strobes.
And besides that, why would they want to put a fire alarm station by lockers? You can’t even get that one freaking one open and what if someone was locker and they were trying to open it and they accidentally tripped and fell on the fire alarm and somehow pulled it falling down. Move those to the other side and get rid of those stupid horn strobes. They’re nothing but shit and they’re very loud.
All the people complaining about the mixed signals They likely did an add on at some point where they redid part of the systems. Audio circuits require proper wiring to protect against induction and require separate wires for the speaker and strobe which in existing areas may not be possible

hey qusetion this high school by my house has simplex tru alert horn strobes inside the school and outside is all spectralert advances how can you put a diifferent horn strobe with a simplex system
I remember this summer used to do a code 3 tone with no voice message. Then last year they changed it to siren and added the voice message on it. How did they do it change the panel or just change the program on it?

@@EncryptingJava I do not know. To be brutally honest, I do not think voice should be used in this school as the school is too big/the amount of people in one area can easily cover up the voice. Back when the code 3 was still in the school, that’s actually a lot easier to hear than the whoop/voice
There is nothing wrong with Johnson controls simplex except Edwards system which I’m adding Spanish and French language to the Edwards system but the translation grammar on Edwards are incorrect. And I blame google.

They just changed the programming in the software, you don’t have to replace the entire panel.

Why half horn and half Voice? I’m a big fan of EVS fire systems. It’s not as intrusive as just horns. It tells you stuff to do and not do.
