All the people complaining about the mixed signals They likely did an add on at some point where they redid part of the systems. Audio circuits require proper wiring to protect against induction and require separate wires for the speaker and strobe which in existing areas may not be possible
And besides that, why would they want to put a fire alarm station by lockers? You can’t even get that one freaking one open and what if someone was locker and they were trying to open it and they accidentally tripped and fell on the fire alarm and somehow pulled it falling down. Move those to the other side and get rid of those stupid horn strobes. They’re nothing but shit and they’re very loud.
Why would you leave that stopped going for so long lmao. I hate running into those things when doing inspections. Always shut them up as fast as possible!
hey qusetion this high school by my house has simplex tru alert horn strobes inside the school and outside is all spectralert advances how can you put a diifferent horn strobe with a simplex system
This place reminds me of one of the schools I used to go to, especially the little commons area. Except my school had Edwards integrities with a few random MIZ horns that didn’t work
There is nothing wrong with Johnson controls simplex except Edwards system which I’m adding Spanish and French language to the Edwards system but the translation grammar on Edwards are incorrect. And I blame google.
I remember this summer used to do a code 3 tone with no voice message. Then last year they changed it to siren and added the voice message on it. How did they do it change the panel or just change the program on it?
@@Mrbowling300.0 golfking!! do you know why only half of the school has voice evacuation instead of the entire? and is the message also hard to hear when there’s a lot of people?
@@EncryptingJava I do not know. To be brutally honest, I do not think voice should be used in this school as the school is too big/the amount of people in one area can easily cover up the voice. Back when the code 3 was still in the school, that’s actually a lot easier to hear than the whoop/voice
I was gonna say you can’t even get that one locker open because that fire alarm is blocking it and imagine if somebody just snuck over an automatically pulled it.
I can see myself having an argument with the principal if I was in high school today Principal: Why did you pull the fire alarm? Me: Why did the administration assign me a locker right by the pull station? Better yet, why is there a pull station right by the locker in the first place?
@@Urpoop-ee9gf a bump will set it off? 😂 the pull at the start wouldn’t set it off just from a bump. When it is pulled the alarm sends the signal that makes the alarm and panel to go off
Kinda curious as to who voiced this message.
Why does the code 3 sound like that? Sounds way different than what I remember from Simplex
i agree
It’s 520hz now as opposed to 500 to meet the new nfpa requirements
What model is that
Simplex 4906-9127 for the horn strobes and 4906-9151 for speakers strobes.
this building looks extremly clean. that is amazing
Pulling a fire alarm that's a bad time dum dum

I'm sure kids pull it all the time to get out of taking a pop quiz

It's a bad place for a fire alarm because it's next to a locker litchly

that’s a really bad place for a pull station to be put (right next to a locker)…
was anybody at the school

Did not sound that I heard the fire 2nd alarm

No this was at night
Uuhhhhhjjhjjjiuhjjhhhhhhhjujuuuuuuuuui
Are there any kids in class right now ?
This was filmed at nighttime so probably not
Looks like nighttime like 8pm
I'm deaf and I absolutely hate fire alarms! I take that back, I'm hearing impaired

My Fire alarm sounds like that one too but I don’t like the noise from it 😂
Why use only a few speaker strobes instead of all speaker strobes in the building?
I Was Gonna Ask The Same Thing.
If I was there, I would damage all the horn strobes. I don’t care if I get in trouble because the horn strobes are so loud.
I’ve always wanted to pull a fire alarm, unfortunately I’ve never been in a position where it’s been okay to do so. Lucky guy.
You go up to school if you are over 18+ ask to be hired as a fire alarm tester and that's it
Where is this
some movie theater in ohio
Wednesday Simplex Fire Alarm
Backrooms
Why half horn and half Voice? I’m a big fan of EVS fire systems. It’s not as intrusive as just horns. It tells you stuff to do and not do.
Why does a system consist of both horn and speaker strobes?
They just do it randomly sometimes. It's even a thing in some buildings at my college.
at night too

They just changed the programming in the software, you don’t have to replace the entire panel.
