RIP Sean, think of all the money that you've saved.
Oh I just found out from this comment, I was binging videos of him last night with no idea...
too prophetic 3:32
@@Wakajce I mean.. I guess i'll be that guy, he's said as much himself he was an Atheist, doesn't believe in God, or Religion and doesn't think anything happens after you die, I don't think he'd be too bright on the idea of everyone saying he's chilling out in heaven now just cause he's gone.

Yea, my mate died at the same age as Sean. We used to meet up in my home town periodically and go to the same cafe and watch the world go by saying we'd probably still be doing that in our 70's. Nobody expected him to die at 54. You never know what's round the corner.
I'm American and had never heard of this guy, but he is wonderfully hilarious. R.i.p. buddy.
Try 8 out of 10 cats does countdown if you need cheered up
Boyyy, have you got some catching up to do! Get onto 8 out of 10 Cats, and 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown. Lots on CZcams.
@@duncanmagee Agreed. If you think his stand-up routine is great, wait until you see him in a more off-the-cuff style. Man was hilarious. His bit from one of the panel shows where they watch some children act out a play of a real-world court case is not to be watched while drinking something.
I just discovered him today
@@Lucifronz was that the Big Fat Quiz one, where the kids were doing a Christmas play or something?
"If I was their drama teacher, I'd throw myself in the canal" 🤣😂
You were certainly spared the jigsaws and conservatories, Sean... And we were spared that thong.
RIP you mad genius.

Sean Lock really is one of the funniest and quickest comedians on the planet. Absolutely love him in 8 out of 10 Cats
*was :(
Loved
I love how you can hear Jimmy in the crowd laughing.
Probably watched a lot of his specials, yeah. Sean Lock was hilarious and the two were apparently close.
Totally. His laugh pops up head and there
i've watched QI so often, I feel like I've known Sean Lock personally and so so sad... imagine how devasted and heartbroken his friends and family must be. Sean brightened up my dark days so many times, thnak you and RIP
Yep definitely it's hard losing your dad at any age
RIP Sean. One of England's funniest, ever.
That's not saying much pal.

@@andym28 Disagree. Many Great English comedians and Sean was amongst the best of that list.
The bit on smoking is pretty hard to watch given he died from lung cancer. Even so, its still funny.
I thought it was Skin cancer?
Afaik he had skin cancer before he was on 8 out of 10. The report I read said he died of lung cancer.
@@notbloodylikely4817 He had skin cancer before he became a comic, from what I read.
@@2bobaf yeah, after working o building sites blaming working in the sun. If I had any form of cancer and recovered, I’d quit smoking...I did and never had cancer! His choice so fair enough!
Skin cancer if not caught early enough can spread to the lymph nodes, liver, lungs, brain and other organs. Seans likely was a return of his battle with skin cancer. Remember to get your doctor to check your skin for spots especially if you're out in the sun alot.
David Bowie, Rik Mayall and now Sean Lock. The past couple of years have been brutal to my all time favourite entertainers.
I dont need to say his name but we all know him, we know hes there in the audience.

Crank up the inspector Linley mysteries, ffs where's he get it from, tears running down my face.

"im not spoiling it for anybody am I ?" ... i guess im that one whos never seen wizard of oz lol
Tbh....your not missing much. Probably good in it's day though.
Still, he thinks the Wizard was a dwarf, but he's mistaking the Wizard for one of the Munchkins. The Wizard was the old man, the guy who was the traveling magician in the real world.
@@jondunmore4268 Wasn't he a traveling snake oil and flim flam merchant? Or am I remembering any number of other movies lol? Anyway I thought he was a bunko artist, which lines up with the Wizard being a phony. But you're right, he was short, but not that small.
@@GlennDavey -- He IS a snake-oil salesman, but his van advertises him as Marvel the Magician; he comes off as a flim flammer because he does that crystal ball reading for Dorothy to entice her back home - but he's too late, due to the twister.
I never did.
RIP to this absolute legend
Rip sean. We will miss you.
Boy do I wish I could have gotten the chance to see him live in concert... he had so much talent , such a huge loss to the world of comedy....and now he doesn't get to shock us all with wearing a thong while waterskiing when he's 70... RIP Sean
In a tribute, I will go waterskiing while wearing a thong. I'm 65, overweight, so it will be an eye burning experience for anyone who sees me. Cheers, Sean, we're still thinking of you.
John , they say something about don't meet your hero's,I went to a event in Wales called work in progress, where he tried new material, he made no effort to connect with the audience and was very disappointing. ,Far far better on the telly ,
@@Wornout1 That's about standard for a work in progress for most comics, you're not looking at the polished show it's just "try the joke, see if it gets a laugh"
6:45 was that Jimmy Carr laughing?
RIP to one of the best comedians of his generation.... sorely missed
One of the funniest blokes to ever grace this rock. RIP Sean lock.
It appears Sean hates the Wizard of Oz, Robbie Williams and most of the people in between.. lol
Man I like Robbie and I've had ALL those thoughts about him. I don't think Sean really hates anything :) It's just funnier when he raises his voice.
More like takes them as straight lines.
That Robbie Williams sequence was perfectly executed.
Love this guy. More good laughs than anyone else.
RIP. Legend
One of our best , he will be missed
GENIUS! I would LOVE to have an audiobook read by someone who wasn´t "posh." As someone from the Midlands, it would just be fantastic to listen to something that would feel like a bedtime story read by my family.
I know its not an audiobook, but have you listened to Frank Skinners podcasts? I listen every night in bed, even though I’ve heard them all before, because its so comforting hearing Franks voice lol :)
Try Sarah Millicent...
Aye luv show us yer gash
One of my favourite comedians ever! Just a quick search and he has me laughing, even after he's gone. Brilliant bloke!
RIP a true comedy great
Rest in peace Sean he was so funny and very clever with comedy another good gone so sad 😞

One of the most amazingly funny people. Another legend gone. RIP Sean Lock
Balls like an executive toy. Im dead 😆😆😆😆😆😆
Prophetical, almost like Bill Hicks. I hope the pair of them are in the 'afterlife' having a ciggy and passing notes on life. I will genuinely miss Sean Lock`s talent. I once read a 2007 interview with him in the Manchester standard that asked him what he would want written on his gravestone? He said 'Knock. Knock.'.
He never got a chance to play book tapes loudly.....
That whole "hes not a wizard" thing just brings into perspective that which is theology 😂😂
@DAVID FILER there isnt. Honest. He was destroyed by the dark bunny of bloody easters
@DAVID FILER president of the United states? No sorry, unfortunately he is real
Sean joking about getting old, I just wish he had 😔
ffs it's only a matter of time now until someone pulls up in an astra listening to the worlds loudest audio books 😂
Hope they're being read in Hindi. That's really irritating to those who can't understand it.
Rip Sean comedy legend.
4:20 and onward is now a bit sad to watch, RIP Sean!
This mans comedy had meaning that most could not comprehend, he had subliminal feelings and meaning that even he didnt honestly understand how to handle himself, RIP to a fucking legend ❤
God listening to the bit about how he'll be when he's old, it's funny but I can barely laugh.
It is so sad. A brilliant comedic mind.
We are all gonna die some day. Life is a blink of an eye. He had a brilliant blink. I am enjoying he's legacy at its best. Even if it makes me sad. We will not beat death for a while i think. And maybe he is serenading the ladies in the heaven at the moment. Be happy. We will all see him again soon somewhere. Doing shows in the afterworld. Lets be honest. It's problaby the only thing hes good at 😅
Well, his job was making people laugh, so I doubt he'd be too offended! Plus the fact he'd had cancer before as a younger man I imagine he was pretty aware of his own mortality, whilst joking about it. Overall he had a pretty dark sensibility at times, so I don't feel bad still laughing myself. That said, RIP. 58 is no great age and I was always pleased when I saw he was on the panel if I put a comedy quiz on. Never heard a bad word said about the man and he had a pretty young family.
I work in a shop that sells some fancy dress and we have a Riddler outfit on display at the moment. Keeps reminding me of his "I'm the Riddler!" joke at the end of one of his shows that really made me laugh with how daft it was!
A beer and a ciggy. That was my whole life. Now I have neither.
3:44 funny and yet so sad 😞
The finest ever comedian ... tears of laughter and now true sadness, this man was epic !
Lol the thumbnail made me just burst out laughing!
Just caught me off guard!
This guy is by far the best comedian on the panel show circuit. Underrated.
He was massively successful doing sell out tours and many appearances on multiple tv shows. In this video he's at one of the major London theatres and being filmed for tv. What part of that suggests to you that he was underrated, fucking moron? You just copy other idiots' inane comments, don't you? Ever had a thought of your own?
@@markfox1545 nice chap.

Why does Sean look like a newly divorced father whose lost his house and custody of the kids
But he won his freedom.
You mean happy?
thats prolly why hes a famous comedian now.
He looks like he should host a show called "Review"
Hahahaha
When he was talking about murder, and he said "I`m not saying we`ve all done one" I wonder how many members of the audience didn`t laugh.
Yes I’m terms of probability and the odds....One person was most likely a police man and some would of course had criminal offences and unlikely but possible....a legit murderer was in the crowd

Tobacco killed off another one. Yes, it was his choice. Cigarettes never jumped out of the pack, into someone's mouth. I've lost several friends over the years, to lung cancer and heart attacks; heavy smokers, all.
0:34 you can see the moment the camera man starts laughing
"You're A Wizard Midget,
I am Not"
Honestly now he's passed, I realise how good he is as a stand up comedian. It comes so natural to him and his punch lines are delivered so well and his story's are great. He reminds me of a rude Lee Evans.
"Peterotica, read by Betty White"
Cigarettes - bad. Robbie Williams impressions - f'king hilarious.
Never heard of Sean Lock before, yeah, he's funny.
Seans off to beat the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Ozzzzzz.....
0:44 Jimmy's there!
Fantastic, superb....sadly missed❤
Sadly ironic that he said he'd live longer because of not being able to smoke in pubs, and he still died at 58 from lung cancer. Goodbye Sean. We hardly knew ye.
So funny - love it
