I don't doubt that the trick 100% needs the table, but I don't think that's it, else we'd see it rotate for the rose petals, I would say its a screen but I can't figure out how he hid the coins for that to work
No matter what trick he used, you have to agree that it shocked you, which means his performance was a success.

It wasn't shocking at all. This same trick was done by a teenager on Penn and Teller's Fool Us, only using dice instead of coins under the cards, so you could visibly see that the dice were still there until the card suddenly fell and the die appeared under a different card. The only twist was using rose petals instead of cards at one point - but using dice instead of coins is still higher difficulty than this.

Do you see all the people standing up and all the reactions on the audience's faces? Yeah, remember that because America is probably going to choose another act to win when this act is so unique and at least 10x better than the other one. Also, that reaction from Will was so heartwarming and I am SURE that I'm not the only one who felt something when he saw all those people clapping and cheering him on.
This was amazing even his speech was beautiful we know it’s fake but for thirty seconds can we not just forget that and enjoy his hard work?

Because he's a fraud and used camera tricks for his "tricks". The TV program edited out the part where the actual "trick" happens. He steps on a pedal to flip the coins over and the producers edit it out. He deserves 0 views.

Producers help with the post-production in making it look real by correcting and erasing any visual discrepancies. Its fakeness on top of fakeness....nice to look at though.
Um no. Otherwise it would defeat the whole purpose of the show. Here is another insight;
"I think I can safely say that this trick is made specifically for the show (as Will says it is in the beginning). I do not think it would work in an up close scenario. In fact, it might not even work in a staged setting. I noticed that the sort of tray thing he was doing it in would block the view of anyone not standing directly next to him. As a result, I think this is definitely a trick for the camera which people are watching on the jumbo-tron and at home. This is not to take away from the effect, kudos to him on finding the loop hole xD Its a bit like Insta magic, but in a real life scenario, which is probably super hard to pull off. If and when he makes it to the finals, he's got my vote (unless someone else truly amazing pops up)."

I think the way it's done is with electronic flip compartments, and the compartments are controlled by a pedal. Notice the plant pot by the right table leg. It's obscured by the rose vines, allowing him to maneuver his foot without being seen.
i don't care about its trick / screen / anything, it's for entertaining, and i really enjoy it, so why complain about this show? , if u better than him, just do better and show it to us!

Lauren Wells he did it bc the table is a screen and the coins appear bc their digital so when he flicks his finger and stuff they move around it's timed, you'll see the coins moved a few seconds before he snapped his fingers and you could see the coins glitching, understand now?

The table was divided into small square sections that can be flipped with pedals using his feet. He has to remember the exact position.

That's what my brother thought but then I told him "How is he picking them up then?" Then he just froze and became more confused XD
I think it's fairly obvious that the coins are totally made of chocolate and he eats them really quickly, also when he makes the cards disappear he uses the same method we use when we send letters to Santa Claus, an age old trick. The flowers I just can't explain yet but I'm pretty sure the Russians are involved.

My favorite act of the entire season. He put all other magicians to shame! It's actual magic there's no other explanation.
Apart from the pedal he steps on (which makes the table shake), to open/close the several small hatches in the table.
Still a very nice illusion.

I noticed something, the coins are placed at the beginning of the act is their 4 places, at the near end when he picks them up again and placed them in the middle, he picks them from the exact same positions, which means they never moved, and everything happening in between is just visual effects from the table. the rose peddles at the end are both visually hidden as they where already there, and slight of hand. I'm not sure, and still really cool.

The trick is in the table. Ask him to preform this trick on regular table and he wouldn't be able to do it. Slow down the video and you'll see what i'm talking about. There are coin size revertable doors through which he pushes or removes the coins. He just needs to place them correctly.
But still non the less, impressive act with a pretty good presentation that should get 4 yes. It all depends on his trick in the next round.

It's fairly easy to do actually. It consists of a kinetic triggered platform in the table that is dependant on the guys movement. There is a band strapped to the guys wrist, when he moves his wrist up, the table will switch. For those of you who read this far, you just read complete bullshit because have no idea how he does it

She built her modeling career from nothing but pictures her mom took on a cheap camera, she created and produced her own reality competition television show for 22 seasons and well as her own talk show for a while, she got a business degree from Harvard University (and not on of the honorary ones, she actually went to classes and studied and earned it) and built her own makeup brand among other things all while being a mother. Tyra is amazing. She does the work and encourages others to lift themselves out of their own circumstances.

Why's it every time a magician comes on theres always got to be people who think they know how the trick is done and try to somehow take credit for it, if your so good why don't you go up there and perform it. Just enjoy it, the best part of it is how it keeps you wondering and memorized. There's really no explanation his the asian voldermort.
I'm an analyst, I get enjoyment out of figuring out how something works. You might not care to know how it works and just enjoy it for the execution, but that's not me. :)
+Elenesski It's not a trick - it's a literal alteration of the matrix we inhabit by intent and belief/faith. There is no physical matter, space or time existing objectively and fundamentally - we are living in a virtual reality/simulation, which means all "physical" reality is information/word. All is consciousness/spirit and information/word. The keyboard you are typing on is no more real than something in a dream/video game world.
sorry i just said trick because not everything has to be put in a difficult term. Just kept it simple and to be honest i'm not up to your standard of word vocabulary hence why i use the more understandable words for people like myself.
I know how a lot of tricks are done because my father is a magician and has practiced in front of me, but I honor the Magicians Code (Which is why I disliked that Masked Magician series a few years back) and do not reveal how tricks are done.
That said, if we have enough group of con-artists like The Clairvoyants* I will be quick to point out what they are doing. But only if they are conning people, otherwise I will keep silent and enjoy the show.
Magic done right, for the sake of entertainment is golden. Done wrong or for the sake of making money, well it's something else colored brown.
(*They were the Mentalists from Season 11 who liked to dupe people into believing they have magical powers, when they were just doing cold readings, pre-fixed signals and a few other tricks that go back to what Harry Houdini exposed)

Hmm... This trick was quite cool to watch. Of course, like every magic trick on AGT, I try to figure out how it's done, by watching, rewatching and slow-mo'ing.
Often times (Not always), I can see where the illusion happens... where the misdirection, or re-direction occurs which causes you to THINK something is happening when its not.
However, this one I can't figure out.
We know he's a master of slight of hand... that's a given. I was first thinking that the "TABLE" was a screen projecting the images, and he just used SOH to 'pick them up'... but in this video, we can CLEARLY see him pick up the coins and the petals, and yet they change before our eyes.
The lights reflecting off the coins and the fact that he plainly picks them up, indicate that they are real-world objects... and yet they disappear and re appear by themselves.
This one is baffling, but I'm 100% certain the table is doing all the trickery.
Either way... a VERY good trick, and very entertaining to the eye, AND mind! :) WELL DONE!
Gaslamp Village Media Inc. Just wanted to say I really appreciate that your comment clearly comes from a place of respect. Too often when onlookers try to figure out tricks they do so to undermine the magician or skill involved. You obviously enjoy magic and try to explain the tricks as an added challenge, not to show off.
To me the camera also has something to do with it. Nobody get to see it directly, but only through a monitor. So the fps must be kind of low or something. He moves his hands slowly, so you don't see any difference, but the table system, something probably flipping the coins, is so fast that the camera doesn't catch every frames.
I have a more simple explanation. The video he is showing the audience is a playback and it has been tampered with on the frame level. All he does is imitate what's on the video, very simple actually if you think about it
Yeah but that would be fucked up from him lol. Like it could be a montage. Or he would simply take the most perfect try on video he had, means with all the preparation and tries needed. At least if he does it live, even with the frame difference because of the camera, he still has do do it perfectly and show some real skills.
So i hope it's not a playback i would be so disapointed lol
