Can Arsenal keep Man City at bay? Gary has his doubts with City for the first time this season.

Finally, we discuss the problems at Liverpool & what is happening at the club, before answering quickfire questions.
00:00-20:11 Can Arsenal see off Man City to win the title?
20:12-25:30 Will Newcastle make the top four? Can they win the Carabao Cup?
25:31-39:22 The impact of Ten Hag & the style of football at Man Utd
39:23-46:47 Should Harry Kane stay at Spurs? Will Tottenham make top 4?
46:48-51:47 Will Brighton, Fulham or Brentford sneak into Europe?
51:48-1:00:09 What is going wrong at Liverpool?

Doesn't take a genius to work out once City have a stable defence of their best defenders ie Dias Stones with Walker/Laporte/Ake mix and manage to get KDB/Haaland more free from being man marked (kicked to $hite) by having both Silva and Gundogan able to overload the midfield areas, that City will go to another level and Arsenal will drop off. This is players that have won back to back titles against players that bottled 4th last season. Form can get a team to certain positions, but only genuine class gets you through the real battles.

Time will tell for me end of April we still leading I’ll put my hand up and will 100% say we winning it
Deep down Robbie is hating it his cheddar is made off the back of arsenal defeats.
@Phil Leotardo slander!.. that's just a petty bitter lie from a hater... keep crying
mate weve been humble all season saying top 4 was the target anything was a plus, then we were rinsed saying no ambition and we should be backing oursleves, now weve lost a game its all arsenal fans are talking too big for what we are, either way people will always talk shit
I don’t understand why there’s always multiple arsenal fans at these things but other clubs get 1.
Arsenal win their next three games( villa away could be tough) league is done
When you ask Arsenal fans whether they'll win the league they generally stay level headed but if you approach with City will win the uproar is palpable. It's more that people are disregarding them than they actually back themselves to properly do it.
I think people just see City from last year with Haaland added who has scored 25 goals in 20 games... so the idea of them not winning again seems insane.
It's because we've learned over the last few years that whatever an arsenal fan says is always held against us. We've been laughed at over the past years and we almost don't want to be stupid enough to say anything based on that. You say ask a arsenal fan do we think we will win but then in the same sentence you say you then approach us saying City will win, obviously we will react because nobody knows the out come and your saying city will win to get a reaction.
A lot of Arsenal fans are being quite cocky on the likes of Twitter, can't blame them but if you do win it be prepared for hate to come your way. Man United were hated when Fergie was there and they were winning everything, last few years Liverpool got the hate, now it'll be Arsenal who get it. Man City have only done well over the last 5 or 6 years not historically so got away with it a bit. Although I think them and Chelsea are going to get a tough ride from now on.
@@nonnayoubuzinnes1669 Yea we don't get to much hate from fans but we get enough off the pundits instead.
@@Si6Si6 Don't recall you getting any this season rightly so, you've got the praise you deserve. You were in the wilderness for a few years so either got forgotten or criticised. Now you will just get hate. Fans in this country don't like to see other teams do well especially if they had done well in the past and dragged themselves back up. Hate will probably mostly be on Man City now though although a lot of the press are from there and support them. Not sure how it works in London, Spurs seem to be the whipping boys for a lot of people, they seem to get a hard time off fans too, never really understood it given they don't actually win anything!

Brentford, Brighton and Fulham are the blueprints that every club outside the top 6 should be basing their club on. Great examples of how to run a PL club aspiring to push the boundaries.
Brentford and Brighton yes. Fulham no. I'd rather not have a club yoyoing for 5 seasons then having one good season in the prem. Fulham are doing great this season but the club have only just got It right unlike Brentford and Brighton who have stayed in the league and consistently improved within the prem over the last few years

These are always very good 👌🏼
Being a Man United supporter, I had forgotten what Gary is now saying. I remember how difficult it was at the top while being chased, and how easily a so called "big" lead can turn into nothing inside of a week. He's right about it being a traditional season. The bar set for fewest points dropped has come from Liverpool and City recently, so we'd be forgiven in thinking a team that could potentially go 8 points clear of second place will not slip up.

Listening to the Spurs fan after they’ve just been smashed by Leicester should remind everyone that a week in football is a long time. Plenty of twists and turns to come.
Eddie Howe has done unbelievable job & for me I'd take cup, I get the money aspect, but let's be honest no one expected us to be even in the conversation, we don't have the quality off the bench & adding extra games for champions league might be more damaging for the buzz that is around the city. Plus now with the likelihood St James being extended would be better for future seasons with hopefully regular European football
not to jinx it (united fan) but I think you're right. Newcastle seem to have a plan in place which is to build brick by brick over time. Going into the champions league may derail their plans as they will have to spend big (not that money is an issue) to keep up. A rash of new players and new egos could destabilise this well run team. All that being said... come on united!!!

As an Arsenal fan I knew this video would age well. Neville has valid points and we could actually be 10 points behind at the end of the league if we dont start winning. We need to start winning our games and take advantage of the points and lead we have, especially when we drop points due to “human errors”.
Gary Neville has been in a dressing room that won the league numerous times, you will probably never meet anyone who has better knowledge on how to win the league
Man shut up stop sucking dick we are here to stay
For as great as Brighton, Brentford and Fulham have done, the fact that none of them have European football, and I don't know how they were effected by the World Cup, meaning that most of there team had a month off, has really helped. This season is effecting the Champions league clubs more than any. Even the Europa teams have rested the vast majority of their teams regulars for these games.
I swear they dont let flav get in a word, as soon as he says anything you,ve got like 5 other people talking over him
Anti slug agenda
Yeah Spurs are just dis-respected, seems like the fans are as well.
Flav is bad at these debates. Not charismatic or commanding when trying to speak. His jabs at other fans are meek and not funny. Mentioning Arsenal so often when he finally got the floor makes it seem like they are living rent free in his head. Talk about how well we have done earning points despite Son's form, yes the injuries and Conte tragically losing 3 close friends, working far away from his family and recently in severe pain from his gall bladder that needed this surgery. We have often been poor but we have pushed despite it and gotten the points. Talk about that, not about beating Arsenal in a single game that made you feel good....
@Benno Benno That's like saying if the invincible team were at the races then they should've won 2005 prem, and if any other team wins it its because arsenal were off colour.

Looks like Gary was spot on regarding man city and arsenal they are starting to crumble a little bit.
People arguing with Neville about what happens in a title run in when he’s been in about 20 of them.😂
It feels different under Ten Hag than it did under the previous managers, like Mourinho, Van Gaal etc. It feels more concrete and that there's a solid foundation. It feels like we've got a proper manager, one that's in it for the long haul and also he'll take no nonsense and show the players who's boss.
Robbie is the king of Bottlers lol...🤣🤣🤣
Gary Neville is owed an apology!
I completely agree with Gary here, we’ve never dominated the away games against the big 4. We’ve generally been a counter attacking team against big teams. I like what we’re doing, 85% of games we need to dominate. Rest of them, we hit ‘em on the break.

Rubbish from Neville that Utd have been in this position before under Jose & Ole.. Yes we finished 2nd but the football never felt like this. Those teams were a bit of a mess. We weren’t controlling games like we are now and didn’t have a player like Casemiro in midfield. Long way to go but it just feels different under Ten Hag.
I have to agree - unfortunately ! I think its similar to what Arteta is doing. Something that is sustainable. Its a shift: culture, style of play/system, mentality, recruitment etc. those fundamentals that build winning/competing teams.
@@gooner_duke2756 I agree. My thoughts on Arteta have always been he had potential as a manager. That FA cup win early in his tenure showed he had something and working under Guardiola is a great apprenticeship, as Ten Hag has proved too. What's insane is Brighton are in a transitional season and still in 6th, imagine when De Zerbi gets what he wants in the summer with the possibility of European football, going to be cooking.
No. The entire PL is just overhyped and overrated. The top 4 is pretty open and the top 6 totally is for every team with a few proper top players carrying the rest or any decent bunch of subtop players performing well as a unit.
