- The series finale for Star Wars The Bad Batch is here. And the ending might leave some people feeling like there should have been more. But let's talk about how that isn't a bad thing.
#StarWars #TheBadBatch #Disney - Zábava
Honestly after all they been through especially losing Tech, they do deserve a happy ending. Plus I didn’t expect Omega to join the Rebellion but it makes sense.
I’ll be honest, for some morbid reason, I wish we saw the helmet fall off of the impaled assassin as they left, just to see who that clone was.
@@hiddendesire3076 They we’re all normal clones by the looks of it, just brainwashed and enhanced.
@@hiddendesire3076 They were all regular clone at the facility that were enhanced and then turned to the empire, but who knows, maybe Hunter just brutally stabbed and killed his brother Tech 🤷♂
@@hiddendesire3076you're not the only one. Was hoping for Tech face reveal....
@@hiddendesire3076 It was never set up as a mystery though
If i had a nickel every time when the bad batch member loses a hand i will have two nickels. That's not much, but it's weird that it happened twice.
and the same hand too lo
To be fair, Echo lost his hand long before joining the Bad Batch.
So sad they didn’t stump bump when echo was flying off to help Rex
He didn't loose his hand tho
Plottwist: Those two nickels are Skywalkers. ;)
I'm just glad Echo got his spotlight 😊
probably Echo died beacosue he wasn't mentioned by Hunter during final scenes
We don’t know what happened to Echo years later.
@@bloodshot7748we see him flying away at the end of the episode, so it's likely that they don't know what happened to him. While his death is still very possible cause he wasn't with Rex in Rebels it's all just speculation at this point.

The End of an Era.
Why do people keep saying this about this finale?
Because it’s the end of George Lucas’ Clone Wars era. He was the one who brought up the Bad Batch idea for Season 7 years ago.

I don’t think anyone expected all the batch to survive in the finale, but I guess it just seems right. I’m glad tech wasn’t alive, so we can have characters who stay dead, and their deaths meaning stays. As for scorch, I’m kind of indifferent. Yes it would’ve been cool to see their squad, but I feel like that would’ve taken away from the clone assassins squad. I liked the way hemlock died. Hunter and CrossHair just let him have it. It all just seemed right.
Ikr, i was waiting the entire time for tech to get bought back, im glad he wasn’t
Disney should stop bringing back dead characters. Glad Ventress came back though because we need more stories with her
Plus as Awesome as Scorch was
In the end he represented the Clones who stay loyal to the empire in the end
Still wish we could have seen him and Hunter fight hand to hand
I guess the reason why people kept speculating Tech's death is the way it's been done.
Most have been desensitized of the falling to their deaths trope and backed up with the saying "No body, not death". kinda sad if you ask me. It limits how writers wanted a character to die by a small portion, but when a writer plans a specific setting and scenarios, you're forced into a chock hold that you need to really REALLY say that X character died and that's that. It draws you out of the immersion and make things less suspenseful with meaning.
I feel like Tech's death was TRULY confirmed when Crosshair said "Clone Force 99 was done when Tech died" or something like that, it just truly felt like in that moment Tech's death meant something!
"No deaths."
Nala Se, Rampart, Scorch, and Hemlock: Am I a joke to you?
yes
the only one i feel sad for is nala se
@@daeseongkim93she only cared about omega towards the end. she knew her sacrifice was to benefit omega so they would stop hunting her. little annoyed rampart was still twisted i was thinking maybe he would change after spending time with the batch but i guess not

I think the most brutal death is that one Clone got his chest stabbed by a blade by that Trooper. Dang, that was brutal
Despite a lot of things remaining unanswered, I’m happy with what we got.
Echo and Rex will probably get their own show so the questions will be answered there

Also Domino squad would be so proud of Echo
The new "dark troopers" were crazy. It's a shame they killed a lot of the clones though, they suffered so much only to be killed before they could see the light of day again.
Looking at the gas chamber scene, it looked like it did not actually kill most of the clone troopers. Just stunning them like how the gas disabled Crosshair in Season 2. Most of them appear to have escaped and made it to Pabu.
@@commanderbacara225 Yes but the "dark troopers" certainly killed a lot of them.
@@commanderbacara225there were also a portion of clones who I’m pretty sure didn’t go with the batch and left immediately like injured brothers

@@subtestPW I get your point because I wanted an emotional ending too, but I'm honestly happy it ended with just the final 4 members in the last scene. And technically at the final scenes time Echo was most likely dead because we don't see him in Rebels with Rex :)
R.I.P Scorch
Wasted potential
He dosent die from the shots since his visor is still on, and considering what we've seen people survive before in star wars especially scorch, id say he will probably be revealed to be alive in like 8 years or something.
Well it's our fault he's dead actually...
When the batch rescued gregor scorch was not scorch ! Just a commando who was given the same paint job as a reference ! But after that episode fans became so excited after seeing "scorch" that they ultimately decided to bring back that trooper and actually make him scorch
@@krogymania4946 I believe they literally name dropped his name this season, even still, they did him dirty
@@bradwhite5884 yes so the first time we saw him it was just a reference they even talked about it
It was only in the baby zillo episode that scorch was officially named
And then in the emeri episode he was called by he's name for the first and only time in the series
Echo was an absolute unit in this finale, we barely get much of him in action but you can see why Rex chose him and Fives as ARC Troopers.
They fight like they're enhanced clones
Agreed
One of the best parts of the finale.
There is still an open ending for Echo to have a spin off
Probably with Rex and company
I'm hoping so. Cody's fate and Wollfe's reason for leaving the empire still need to be answered.
@@darkflameofphonix4709 Dave and Brad wouldn't leave us in the dark about this. I'm pretty sure we're getting a show on that. And I'm surprised how Echo's name wasn't taken in the Finale's ending when Omega was gearing up to leave Pabu, either he's on a mission or dead.
The way they send Echo and Emerie off in the finale really hints at an entirely clones focused show, with Echo probably getting the most spotlight
This explains why Echo barely got any screentime in the Bad Batch show.
Yeah, they're not going to leave a 10 season character as beloved as Echo unresolved. Plus, we know they like to fill in as many gaps as possible. Going from Rex and Echo working with other Clones to Rex living as an old man is a big gap. Besides, we have to learn what happened to Wolffe, Cody, Howzer, etc. and there's no way they leave us in the dark on that.
I think we needed this, the Bad Batch was already quite dark throughout, especially given the way it started. Omega challenged that, and I think it's quite refreshing for modern Star Wars to have a positive light ending. Who knows, we may see Omega again in the future.
So glad cx2 wasn't tech. I'm glad an important death meant something for once. I loved the ending - thought it was perfect. It also leaves room for more Echo content as he is not on Pabu with the others and obviously more Omega content - but all grown up. It makes me excited for star wars' future.
Honestly, me too. I was one of the ones who was hoping for a Tech reveal, but storywise, I'm glad that it wasn't him. Not only would his death mean something, but we can rest a little easier knowing he didn't end up as one of Hemlock's assassins. :')
@@PhoenixPrimetech still could’ve been cx2. They never did show his face.
@@cole71 that got me so good, like they arent even curious who that clone was? It could have been Cody
@@colatf2 Definitely wasn't Cody. They wouldn't kill off Cody in that way. Thank God it wasn't him 🙏
@cole71 from a storytelling standpoint, we can safely say Tech is not CX2; if Tech were CX2, it would be an important detail, and if it were important it would be shown to the audience; but it wasn’t, so thats enough to conclude that cx2 was just a random clone.
*Seeing Omega grown up/wipes tear* They grow up so fast.
I felt emotional at the end. We’ve been on a journey. I’m happy that they appear to have won. And I’m excited to see if Omega crops up in the future rebellion era animated series I still feel will come along. So much time to explore ahead of A New Hope.
Happy. Nearly contented. And surprisingly so much done in only fifty minutes.
It’s been awesome. And I’m ready for the next thing.
I'm glad Crosshair got rid of the tremor in his hand.😁
That's one way to look at it 💀
I've never been happier while watching this finale
These guys deserved a happy ending.
But the question of Echo's journey and Wolffe's redemption remains
Guess it means another fight is left against the Empire before everything ties into Andor and Rebels.
Yeah. Though sadly Scorch didn’t make it. Hopefully, this is misdirection and somehow he survived.
Don't forget Cody. We need a conclusion to Cody's story aswell!

Nala Se was honestly one of the favorite characters in the series. She went out avenging her people and protecting their legacy. I think she'll probably be the last Kaminoan character to ever appear in a semi-major role in any Star Wars media, which is a shame.
Rest in peace, amoral mad scientist ayyliums. Your time has come and gone.
I was really hoping for Scorch to have a radicalized moment and turn on Hemlock, but that was really it. I really liked this episode.

Rip Scorch my beloved
I just find it so sad that Scorch died. I was hoping that he was on Tantiss because he had to. My hope was his team disobeyed order 66 and because they couldn't prove it but saw the need for men like them, they just separated them and put them where they could be of use in the best way. So I thought Scorch could get cornered and told to give up or something and he would tell them that he's impressed how far they've come as he thoughg they're just some rogue clones. I thought he could tell them what happened and that they couldn't get to the kids, the clones or anyone no matter what they try, so he would help them if they can bring his team to Tantiss and he'd get them inside and he would get Hemlock for them. My wish was to see Delta Squad reunited and fighting with the clones against the Imperials and putting up a final big fight together in the most awesome way, just how Boss, Fixer, Scorch and Sev are. Also, have Scorch give Wrecker a device to blow up the whole facility and while they hold them off, the clones could escape and Scorch would give Wrecker the command to blow it up in his goofy way with a typical joke that would come from Scorch. That would've been so awesome. Instead, Scorch got eliminated like some regular trooper😓
thank you for ONCE AGAIN putting a spoiler in the thumbnail, really great that
Hunter know that Omega's ready to go her own way, yes. Has been for a long time.
"BUT I'M NOT..." Ooof, that hit. 😢
When I heard the intro music my heart dropped. I actually hit pause and thought to myself, "Do I really want to see any of them die?" Stayed anxious right up to the escape. Wasn't hoping for answers to every little thing. Only hoped that they'd survive but didn't expect that they would. Happy tears!! This finale was insanely satisfying for me. Filoni delivered.
I honestly love the ending! None of the batch died which was a wonderful surprise! I have been so worried for Crosshair all season and I’m so happy he made it! I loved this final season so much!
This is how it goes sometimes in fictional stories I guess. Not everyone has one big grand adventure and then continues for the rest of their life having more grand adventures. Omega didn't spend her adolescent years off exploring the galaxy like we thought she would. Instead she settles down on Pabu and lives the next several years of her life in peace, only leaving when she feels it's necessary because there's a war coming, and the rebels will need everyone they can get.
This is the best and most sensible ending the Disney Star Wars ever had. No unexpected tragedies like plan 99, no caviats like the Rise of Skywalker, and a overall good closure of the characters that was focused and we as a audience grew with ever since the beginning (exlcuding Echo). And a closure of CT-99 and the opening of a new path for Omega, who was about to begin her journey.
Anyone else waiting for a "Brasil" or "Jacob's Ladder" twist at the end? The camera pulls back to dissolve and you see Omega in a cloning tube, unconscious and dreaming that she escaped?
Such a heartfelt ending, now for Clone Force 99, the battle for them is finally over. Their chapter has come to a close.
What a masterpiece of a series.
Wrecker and Echo had me scared every time they were on screen.
Not every story has to tie in to the bigger picture, that is so true, Star Wars shows have had way to many crossovers and connections to the overall SkyWalker saga, it is a breath of fresh air to have an independent self contained story, like Andor, Jedi Fallen order/Survivor and this show.
Yeah and that's make the story Unpredictible, i tought we gonna see some bad batch doing a sacrifice (again)
I loved how it ended. I am sure some things will be followed up on in later stories, like the dark troopers and how Rex and Wolffe got together eventually. Maybe in the next show but whatever the case, it was a great self contained story about family. One of the major themes of the franchise
Did anyone else think the batch were dead after seeing it cut from the hand chopping ? It just felt that way to me
It took me weeks to realize Crosshair actually lost his hand and aimed with his left. Just assumed he didn't trust his shaky hand to aim or was tired and leaned on Hunter.
I am SO GLAD they didn't bring Tech back! The death HAD to be final. Personally speaking, I thought this was the best ending possible.
Thanks for the content!
I’m happy with this ending. It leaves the door open for new stories including one following Omega without taking away from the happy ending that the Bad Batch receive.
So many unanswered questions, however, this ending made me happy I don’t feel empty on the inside. The only other time I felt this way was when grand tour on Amazon was ending. A nice feeling.
They deserve to be happy
I was really expecting a Rogue One style ending. Huge stakes: ultimate victory at the cost of ultimate sacrifice. Everybody dies in a fully self-contained story.
Crazy to think we had Echo for so long. From Domino Squad to 501st and then Bad Batch.
Bad Batch series 3 is like Guardians of the Galaxy 3 it didn't deliver anything the fans wanted not even a major character death but the emotional hell the characters endure and the rush the audience feels watch for it makes it stronger than we expect it to be.
Woah that’s actually a very cool similarity to point out
And just like that, four years after The Clone Wars ended, we can bring it to a definite close. Hemlcok is dead (though I never understood what was up with his hand), all the research destroyed, the clones eacaped, with Kamino destroyed and the Kaminoains with them. The Zillo Beast survives somewhere in Tantiss and what's left of the Batch lives their lives to the fullest. While it may be the "safest" end, I honestly am fine with that. It showed the aftermath of Order 66 well and the phasing out of clones to normal soldiers. I enjoyed more episodes then I expected. Sure, there were ones I didn't care for, but that's most shows now. Overall, I enjoy this.
Great to see the Batch reunited but somethings missing someone's missing 😢
I'm so relieved it ended how it did.
It took me on an emotional roller coaster, I wasn’t crying, my eyes were just sweating
Glad they got to live their lives in peace. I actually liked it in season 2 when they finally found a home and actually stayed there away from everything else.
It wasn't the ending I expected, but I loved the entire Bad Batch series. May the force be with you
After the emotionally gut wrenching ending of TCW, this was a really nice follow up. It feels wholesome and complete
i thought that one of the operative was tech. I guessed this because you could see the round goggles like tech on one of their helmets.
The Clone Wars S5,6,7, Rebels S2,3,4 and the Bad Batch Season 1 + 2 all had dark or bittersweet endings. I'm kinda happy the Bad Batch ends with their retirement and some peace for the imprisoned clones.
So happy it is so kind to them
I absolutely love this ending tbh and ngl I cried a bit at the ending, I'm glad they just got a happy ending without any more deaths and I am so glad that they decided to leave tech actually dead
Imma miss this show deeply. Especially with the last episodes title being the bad batch's first words, truly made me sad and happy at the same time.
When Hunter tells Omega that he's not ready to see her go, got me.
I love how you and many other Star Wars content creators still have a massive spoiler in the thumbnail. You’re all beautiful. Thank you
The story was about Clone Force 99 not the The Clone rebellion and it was a beautiful ending🥰 To see that they are stil around during the time of rebellion against the empire leads me to believe that Omega or the rest of Clone force 99 might pop up the Ashoka series or any of the Star Wars movies☺️
I think there was tech. The operative with the blades that Wrecker smashes head first into the panel. We got a 3 second close up of some very distinct glasses, none of the other operatives had them. They were very similar to the pair tech previously wore. So IMO that was intentional - but never confirmed so that people like us could speculate.
OK just re watched to confirm. The same operative's helmet falls off and he does not have a receding hairline - plus with the glasses in Omegas ship at the end. Congratulations on keeping someone dead, Mr. Mouse. It paid off, great series and an excellent conclusion that doesn't f#$k with previously established lore. Even works with EU in regards to Mt. Tantis. If *Moff* not governor (yes i know it means the same thing) Tarkin shut down the base what would it likely become? A storage facility guarded by some crazy dark jedi? why not
Right in the feels
It's a crime we didn't see Rex in the finale
It was a better ending than I expected
Im just glad they can all rest now.
I was surprised to see none of the bad batch died and I’m curious will we ever see Omega again in any future shows as a part of the rebellion
Not the ending we wanted. But the ending we needed.
It was an extraordinary Star Wars series around the Bad Batch
we saw order 66 how they found Omega, the lost of Tech and the come back from Croshair was amazing. I didn’t expect this final but I think is for the best for ours heroes that lived a long fight against the empire. It is heart touching to finally see Omega grow and see her go away from Hunter. One of the best series I ever seen
That epilogue, omega and hunter saying their goodbyes not knowing what happens next. I want an epilogue for that epilogue after that. If return of the king is allowed 5 of them, bad batch can do 2
i’m glad this is the ending we got dave really crushed this. this finale had me at the edge of my seat. sad to see my childhood show is finally coming to an end but the journey was long :)
They deserved it, I loved this, I was never expecting this but I cried, I loved this it made my cry and I wasn’t disappointed, it was so sad seeing old hunter and omega and it was so sad but happy as well. I feel at peace the writers and everything was so perfect
I felt like there were some missed opportunities and things that needed answering that just werent, but despite that I still enjoyed the ending. Plus with it being the last episode it would probably feel rushed if they did try to answer them all. I agree this was a pretty safe ending and honestly I am quite good with how that turned out.
The assassin clone I thought was going to be a crosshair clone, they had the same cadence and speech pattern, also the same rifle. Its a huge bummer we didnt get a final answer
I hope we get a spinoff of what Rex and Echo are up to fighting against the empire and an Omega rebellion spinoff because there are so many loose ends which can just create more great star wars. Because, the way I see it, the bad batch is PERFECT STAR WARS!!
The ashes of the the clone wars slowly fade away, in its place the empire rises and I feel as though we put a close to the clone wars chapter, now of course that doesnt mean we arent gonna see clones anymore the empire isnt gonna fight itself after all (sometimes anyways) I feel happy for the clones who can finally live a life of their own choice and not the one they were bred for, and for those who rise up to fight the empire and choose to fight one last battle I hope to see you in an upcoming series, thanks for being part of my childhood :)
I was emotionally invested the entire way through, the stakes felt high, and by the end, the last shot of them at the tree I thought that was the last frame, I felt complete and sound with that, but it wasn’t until the epilogue came that I actually cried for the first time when watching a show. It wasn’t the ending I expected but it felt fulfilling to know how the bad batch ended up, that the day on tantiss was one of their last battles. I wish we could’ve saw old wrecker and crosshair but just seeing an ending be complete made me cry.
Even with a most likely clone rebellion show in the future, I can’t help but feel that this ending truly tied up the final season of clone wars.
Even during a dark time like the reign of the Empire, a happy end can be found.
And just because we see hunter old doesn't mean on other time lines shows he wouldn't make an appearance
I loved the entire bad batch. I just hated that it had to end, it deserved more or at least a direct sequel.
I loved the ending too. It's especially cool seeing Omega grown up and the Anti Batch was interesting.
Tbh they should have been showed the in early episode, not just cx2.
@@m.raohillaha.rahman5743 I disagree. Letting the mystery build up until the climatic finale
Theres a lot I loved about this episode
CX2 gets stabbed to a wall, and the camera zooms in a little as if we might finally get to see behind the mask, only for hunter to turn away and follow omega
Crosshair's had was fixed! not by therapy or coming to terms, but by removing the hand!
I'm glad the ending was gentle, especially since the series is aimed for kids.
I just finished watching and this was great
man after seeing everything from the clone wars and then bad batch I couldn't be more happy with the ending
what a season, what an ending.. writes of this show deserves recognition. Also cant wait to see them in live action
why would they ever appear in live action, their story is over, they'd be guaranteed to look worse than they did in animation, the entire charm of DBB voicing them would be gone
some things are meant to stay animated and that's ok
I did not realise i could feel so down over the ending of a "cartoon".
This was a great finale and this has been a fantastic series!
I’m glad we actually got the clone rebellion
Im glad that Tech did not turn out to be alive but seeing them all set under the tree on Pabu at the end made me sad that he wasn't there to witness that it was all over.
I'm fully expecting an Omega show in the same animation now after this. The creators said they can't imagine anyone else playing the main roles of bad batch which is also why I think it will be animated (although omega could show up in ahsoka season 2)
It was a very tense finale from start to finish and had some very cathartic moments and a great ending.
The problem is that from all the way back in Season 1 they've been teasing Project Necromancer and the emperors feelings on how vital it is, as fans we can pretty quickly put together what it is, but when you build it up and built it up more and more all the way up until the finale and then just have nothing, it's disappointing. Feels like they're just going to use that plotpoint somewhere else to keep it going
Project Necromancer was brought up in The Mandalorian season 3, and is clearly Palpatines plan to be able to perfectly clone himself so he can live forever
