Well the Bad Batch were younger, Rex was part of the first battle of Geonosis, but with the naming of the squad I would say the idea of the Bad Batch would have come into fruition after the battle of Kamino (which the goal of the Sepratist was made mute with the knowledge that Omega could have provided another genetic template) where the clone they were named after (99 a true solider) showed that defects aren't a liability. I'm guessing that it's possible the age acceleration process proved defective aswell and that's why they may not age as fast as other clones.

Ever since S3 was announced to be the final one, I was 99% sure that it would be a tragic ending with everyone dying in an ultimate final sacrifice or something… I am SO GLAD that I was wrong! Finally, an actually happy ending… so glad to see the BB retired and living a happy and peaceful life.

Omega's all grown up now, Hunter just doesn't want to accept his big sister can take care of herself now. Hopefully we see Hunter, Wrecker, Echo and Crosshair come back at some point in the Rebellion or New Republic era with Omega, preferably in Ahsoka season 2
Ashoka season 2 is WAY off into the future, with the clones ageing, they won't be warriors if their are still alive. To outlast the civil war they would genetically be around 60, by the time of the mandalorian they are even older, and by the time of ashokas series they would be pressing over 100. Unfortunately .. this is where we leave the bad batch...
Omega and the bad batch deserve so much respect, admiration, and love. Because despite their backgrounds and their past, family ties are strong and unforgettable.
It was nice to have a happy star wars ending for once involving the clones. The bad batch got to retire properly on Pabu with omega joining the rebellion. It will be interesting to see if we ever see Pabu or the bad batch again in future star wars media and if this planet has any ties to the rebellion moving forward. I 100% believe that we will see omega again in some form either as a cameo in another show or in a comic
She could show up as a cameo, but idk, I feel like it's more likely she might be more of a main character in another Empire-era show (or at least that's what I'm hoping lol)
Omega has been set-up as the key for project necromancer. Project necromancer is relevant for the mandalorian-show … I wouldn‘t be surprised, if we see Omega in that context again.

I’m guessing this takes place some time after A New Hope when the Rebel Fleet was almost completely decimated after the events of Rogue One and the following attack in the Death Star
Almost a week since it’s ending and it still doesn’t feel real. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, only to smile with happiness at the end. Echo finally got the action he deserved, and saved by the clone who volunteered for one final fight, saved many and Wrecker going full on hulk against the other CX clones was awesome. Hunter and Crosshair saving omega then going in for a group hug was quite tearful. The final 10 minutes was great, Echo and Emerie helping the clones settle down, clones being able to have their freedom and CF99 finally being free of war and to create their own lives. Hunter and Omega one last hug/goodbye was such a heartwarming scene to end of the series. In all some things the writers could’ve done better/add to the show. It’s sad seeing this show end but it’s been one hell of a journey since its first episode. The writers, animation team and composers have done a great job continuing the clone story. I’ll deeply miss this show, and hope to see one more mainline clone show before closing the prequel era.
I wonder if the Bad Batch don’t age quite as rapidly as regs as seen here. In Rebels the clones look as if they aged 35 years in 15 years due to the way the accelerated growth process needed for producing the clone army affected them.
nah, their growth rates should be the same but the bad batch are a younger generation of clones and if you are referencing Rex Wolffe and Gregor, they are just old clones and had way more time to train before being deployed. the first batch of clones which fought in the first battle of Geonosis had about a decades worth of training before being deployed. Newer clones like the bad batch had only a year or so since the republic was outmatched in its number of troops. So younger clones would have had more intense training just to be deployed sooner.
I hear people saying that this ending is bad because it isn't as tragic and emotional as The Clone Wars. Guys, please, think about this for a minute. Bad Batch and The Clone Wars aren't developed in the same timeline. While The Clone Wars was about the whole way until reaching the rise of the Empire and the death of both the Jedi and the Republic, there was no way we could've had a happy ending to that series. But the Bad Batch wasn't about that, not even about the beginning a noble and pure Rebellion against the Empire (since we already have Rebels for that), it was about a group of soldiers and a little girl trying to find their place now during the first day of the darkness surrounding the Galaxy while the ties between them grew up to finally become a real family. They had the chance to have a happy ending, and I think they used it well, making Omega join the Rebel Alliance with the promise of seeing her family again one day, sooner or later. It leaves you that feeling of hope, characteristic seal of Star Wars. Both The Clone Wars ending and Bad Batch's one are beautiful, just on different ways.
I did not expect to see adult Omega. And now I hope we get another Filoni masterpiece with this animation with Omega in the rebellion against the empire
btw Adult Omega has quite an arsenal of abilities that i'm hoping to see in the future, guessing that they been training her for the last couple of years. She would be trained in explosives, close combat, infiltration and sniper skills. Plus being force sensitive to a certain degree and a pilot? Having Clone Force 99 as her Masters will make her such a valuable and quite dangerous character. Hoping to see more of her!
This isn't the end, that much is sure. There will be some follow-up story that ties up the loose threads. Some of my biggest ones: - Rex, Wolf, and Gregor: what caused them to be recluses by the time of Rebels S2. Last time we saw them in Bad Batch they were still going strong, which leads me to believe that they were very active until some major event transpired - maybe they launched a failed clone rebellion in the future, or were gradually hunted down. Either way, the clones we see in Rebels S2 didn't look like they'd seen action in some time. Something unfortunate that we have yet to see caused that. - Cody: he's too long a loose thread to leave without resolving. We know that he didn't connect with Rex's cell, at least not within the Bad Batch timeline. Does he connect with them later, create his own cell, look for other jedi, or something else? I really doubt he was one of the reprogrammed assassins on Tantiss. - The Empire: we still need to see more of the evolution from the Republic to the Empire. I thought Bad Batch did a great job starting the process, and by the end we even see the first ISD that will eventually supplant the remaining venators. That, as well as other things like the stormtrooper armor, weapons, and the phasing out of Clone Wars officers to the new, less competent ones by the time we hit Rebels, still remain to be seen. - Asajj Ventress: a huge carrot that they dangled in front of everyone before pulling it back. I suspect she'll be addressed in one of the bigger stories further down the road, such as Ahsoka, Andor, or perhaps something new altogether. - The Senate: what happened to influential senators like Chuchi who were active in the early days of the empire? Emerie sharing information about the experiments on Tantiss with Chuchi doesn't bode well for either of them as she'll probably be eliminated by some imperial assassin like the Inquisitors. The future of animated stories remains bright, and I look forward to sharing with all of you!

Omega may be the oldest clone alongside Boba, but Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, and Crosshair were physically already adults when they met her on Kamino. She got to live and grow up unlike the others who just grew old. Hopefully, Omega will make an appearance in a live-action show soon. It could just be her and Hera talking about the trouble they got into. Maybe even introduce a boyfriend for Omega. Endless possibilities.
i seriously love adult Omega's design! especially the fact that the jacket has Boba's color scheme! really fits the rebel style too. Can't wait to see her in future star wars media

This is the era of surprisingly happy endings to Star Wars shows. The Bad Batch surviving and retiring, Mandalore finally being reunited and retaken, Boba Fett ushering in a new age on Tatooine. Not all perfect, but still pretty nice

I watched it this morning after finally binge watching the entire season since yesterday. And I wanted so badly to see Crosshair and Wrecker as old guys
Waking up three hours before slumber, Omega rubbed her face and saw the Rebellion's victory against the Death Star. Then she heard a speech from Mon Mothma... "The Rebellion needs you. Remember Alderaan." Remembering the horror of Alderaan's destruction, Omega could no longer feel content with the peace she had with her family. Yet, even when it seemed peace was her only option, she felt as if she had not fought enough. Her mind decided, she took from her stand the very fabric of Hunter's headband. Adorning the headband around her head to form a knot keeping her lengthened hair at a tie, Omega then donned clothing and acquired sufficient provisions. Before she would step out the door, she was confronted by her two family figures. Crosshair and Wrecker. Both clones looked at her, realising what she intends to do. Yet Omega couldn't help but feel sorry for Wrecker, for he was reduced to a crippled shell of a man. Unable to walk an inch once more, Wrecker was confined to the heavy duty floatation seat. The injuries he sustained on Tantiss could not be healed efficiently. Yet he maintained his boisterous personality all the same. "So, I take it that this is goodbye?" Omega smiled. Wrecker never changed. She embraced her uncle figure warmly and replied... "Yes. And I promise I'll come back for you. And you." Referring to Crosshair, who remained unchanged, except for his skin had grown wrinkled and aged. Holding a prosthetic right hand that replaced his underfed organic hand on Omega's shoulder. "You sure you know what you're doing out there?" Omega maintained her smile. She replied "Yes, Crosshair. I know." That was enough to satisfy the clone sharpshooter. Omega had learned much from her family. His perception, Hunter's instincts, Wrecker's proclivity for explosives, Echo's technicality and Tech's intelligence. "Then I won't stop you. Goodbye, Omega." As the shaft opened, Omega stepped in, waving a hand goodbye moments before the shaft closes. Both Crosshair and Wrecker smiled, both of them had thought... "If only Tech could see her now..." The mere thought of it, left a tear trickling down both the left eyes of the clones.
This was a beautiful ending, when we first met Clone force 99 they were these rogue clones working on their own and loosely following their orders, then become father figures to this young clone and now she’s left to find her place in the Galaxy
I love this Ending. Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair get to have normal lives, Omega is joining the rebellion and most importantly no one died. Well not the good guys at least. However I’m worried that when Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair return, probably in live action with Omega, they might die protecting her and Omega will live. But that’s just me. What do think about clone force 99’s future?

- Cody: he's too long a loose thread to leave without resolving. We know that he didn't connect with Rex's cell, at least not within the Bad Batch timeline. Does he connect with them later, create his own cell, look for other jedi, or something else? I really doubt he was one of the reprogrammed assassins on Tantiss.
- The Empire: we still need to see more of the evolution from the Republic to the Empire. I thought Bad Batch did a great job starting the process, and by the end we even see the first ISD that will eventually supplant the remaining venators. That, as well as other things like the stormtrooper armor, weapons, and the phasing out of Clone Wars officers to the new, less competent ones by the time we hit Rebels, still remain to be seen.
- Asajj Ventress: a huge carrot that they dangled in front of everyone before pulling it back. I suspect she'll be addressed in one of the bigger stories further down the road, such as Ahsoka, Andor, or perhaps something new altogether.
- The Senate: what happened to influential senators like Chuchi who were active in the early days of the empire? Emerie sharing information about the experiments on Tantiss with Chuchi doesn't bode well for either of them as she'll probably be eliminated by some imperial assassin like the Inquisitors.
The future of animated stories remains bright, and I look forward to sharing with all of you!

@@NoWayJose24 Only one I'm aware of is a legends story where a clone crashed on a planet (only survivor). Stayed there until Rebels, including Luke and Imperials landed on the planet. And he decided to join the Rebellion

@WithyCreeps no omega was 11-12 at the time of techs death (few months before the s3 finale). She 100% will remember that entire event for the rest of her life

There's a lot of stort potential with Omega and Boba being on opposite sides of the war.
Made me wonder where Wreck and Crosshair if they weren't there to see her off or were already ok with her going?
She was sneaking off, hunter could tell she snuck out in the night because he has his heightened senses

Omega may be the oldest clone alongside Boba, but Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, and Crosshair were physically already adults when they met her on Kamino. She got to live and grow up unlike the others who just grew old. Hopefully, Omega will make an appearance in a live-action show soon. It could just be her and Hera talking about the trouble they got into. Maybe even introduce a boyfriend for Omega. Endless possibilities.

This is the era of surprisingly happy endings to Star Wars shows. The Bad Batch surviving and retiring, Mandalore finally being reunited and retaken, Boba Fett ushering in a new age on Tatooine. Not all perfect, but still pretty nice

Her blood was able to accept midichlorians without them becoming degraded. So her blood was being used to clone more of Palpatine. At least, that’s the feeling that I got from it.

Waking up three hours before slumber, Omega rubbed her face and saw the Rebellion's victory against the Death Star. Then she heard a speech from Mon Mothma...
"The Rebellion needs you. Remember Alderaan."
Remembering the horror of Alderaan's destruction, Omega could no longer feel content with the peace she had with her family. Yet, even when it seemed peace was her only option, she felt as if she had not fought enough. Her mind decided, she took from her stand the very fabric of Hunter's headband. Adorning the headband around her head to form a knot keeping her lengthened hair at a tie, Omega then donned clothing and acquired sufficient provisions.
Before she would step out the door, she was confronted by her two family figures. Crosshair and Wrecker. Both clones looked at her, realising what she intends to do.
Yet Omega couldn't help but feel sorry for Wrecker, for he was reduced to a crippled shell of a man. Unable to walk an inch once more, Wrecker was confined to the heavy duty floatation seat. The injuries he sustained on Tantiss could not be healed efficiently. Yet he maintained his boisterous personality all the same.
"So, I take it that this is goodbye?"
Omega smiled. Wrecker never changed. She embraced her uncle figure warmly and replied...
"Yes. And I promise I'll come back for you. And you."
Referring to Crosshair, who remained unchanged, except for his skin had grown wrinkled and aged. Holding a prosthetic right hand that replaced his underfed organic hand on Omega's shoulder.
"You sure you know what you're doing out there?"
Omega maintained her smile. She replied "Yes, Crosshair. I know."
That was enough to satisfy the clone sharpshooter. Omega had learned much from her family. His perception, Hunter's instincts, Wrecker's proclivity for explosives, Echo's technicality and Tech's intelligence.
"Then I won't stop you. Goodbye, Omega."
As the shaft opened, Omega stepped in, waving a hand goodbye moments before the shaft closes. Both Crosshair and Wrecker smiled, both of them had thought...
"If only Tech could see her now..."
The mere thought of it, left a tear trickling down both the left eyes of the clones.
I really thought it was gonna reveal Tech was alive.
Hunter still looks like a stud 😢
I'm fine with the squad (sans Echo) retiring but I hope to see more of the older Omega in future Star Wars content

This was a beautiful ending, when we first met Clone force 99 they were these rogue clones working on their own and loosely following their orders, then become father figures to this young clone and now she’s left to find her place in the Galaxy

I love this Ending. Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair get to have normal lives, Omega is joining the rebellion and most importantly no one died. Well not the good guys at least. However I’m worried that when Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair return, probably in live action with Omega, they might die protecting her and Omega will live. But that’s just me. What do think about clone force 99’s future?
