yes they do evoke moods darker LOCRIAN
or lighter LYDIAN.
the major modes have major chords happier
the minor modes have minor chords
sadder.

Try to watch all of it because I show examples of how the mode matches the chord
And I also play in a minor mode and you can hear examples of why it’s best to not solo over a major chord with a minor mode vise versus a major chord over minor mode…enjoy
