So I’m a month into my first new pick up truck ever in my life. 2020 Ford ranger super crew XLT FX4 sport appearance package. What a ridiculously amazing vehicle. It’s truly three vehicles in one; it’s a small F150, it’s a new bronco, and it’s a Subaru WRX STI all in one.

DO the back seat head rests come off to maybe get the back seat to fold down flat?
To anyone who owns a newer Ranger with the 2.3 and 10 speed auto: can the shift buttons on the side of the shifter downshift (to use engine braking) WITHOUT moving the shifter down another notch?
no, needs to be in S-mode to use manual shift

great detail in the vid! as far as the truck tech goes, there sure is a lot more to go wrong now. Also sure it won't be cheap to repair once out of warranty. As I'm listening, I keep saying to myself, ''ya, nice I gue$$, but I don't need it in a truck.''
Name a vehicle these days that is cheap repair out of warranty. If you want a ranger shop around, I got a free 20 year 200,000 mile powertrain warranty on my 2020 XLT FX4
@@adamharris2674 My friend owns a shop and when he tells people the cost to repair the toyz that break in new cars, out of warranty, people realize quickly, 'the car works without the toyz'. step boards that drop down/retract, lights that change color in the interior, motorized mirrors, etc. they do without.

@@STROSR Golden Circle Ford in Jackson TN offers that on ALL new Fords sold. Look em up. Shows how long the powertrains do last. Will I have little electrical gremlins pop up? maybe but powertrain will most likely be fine.

There isn't heated steering wheel on the Ranger
NO HEATED STEERING WHEEL AVAILABLE on 2019-2022 (i wish there was). For the MONEY THAT THE RANGER LARIAT COST, it SHOULD BE. HEATED SIDE MIRRORS also AVAILABLE on the LARIAT as well.
Is the FX2 package something that I can get after purchasing my truck? I purchased a 2020 ranger xls 4x2 but did not know about the FX2 package until a few days after purchase. Thanks

Is there a safe speed limit when in 4H mode or can you still drive as fast as conditions allow?
Pretty sure you are good at highway speeds, at least up to 65mph.
Adding to my comments....but had a questioin...I was fooling around with the ford pass app...and it says oil change at 10,000 miles is that actually correct?
I thought it was 5000 miles, I can check with service.
Oil change indicator will tell when next oil change is due. But per the manual, oil change max 10000 miles or 1 year.
Which is a better motor to chose a 2.7 eco boost or the 5.0

You didn't talk about the buttons in front of the gear shift. One of the looks like a trailer.

All I needed to know is when I heard that these piles of junk on wheels are only available with a 4 banger under the hood giving no option for a 6 banger its a complete joke & guaranteed the engine won't last more then 150K miles..
.... yet the 2.3l has deep ford roots and has been around awhile. It goes well over 150k and has better power than a V6. Atleast do some research before screeching....
