As a serbian i want to say that most people here aren't considering him a "villain". It was rather a "disappointed" attitude after his mistake. Most people still like him.
I can also explain why he wasn't picked often for national teams,it is indeed because of what you said in the video but also because our forwards like Mitrovic are more experienced and we rely on them more. Jovic will go on to do great things,im sure of it.

Uh I agree especially due to the fact that this generation of athletes seem to be less driven than before, mainly due to social media etc. However, it is good thing that he has got the Real Madrid thing out the way at an early age. One example of a youngster leaving Real and having an illustrious career is Samuel Eto’o. Let’s hope Jovic leaves Real and gets going again.

Actually I was opposing his move to leave the club last year. It was true that he had a good 2018/19 season. However, I felt that it’s bit too rush to leave the club because he only had one good season. I knew it’s hard to resist when the TOP clubs wanted you, but he should’ve just stay for at least 1-2 more year to develop and further improve his abilities. Real Madrid is a dream club that almost Football play dream to play in. But honestly the club already have starter and substitute striker. So no doubt hjovic won’t get time to play, only play in limited minutes or Spanish cup games. He is a young exciting prospect, and I really want him to get back on track and success. If the club don’t suit you, it’s best to leave the club on loan or transfer to new club for more game time. You only will develop and improve if you get game time.
    Keep fighting Jovic !

We thought that he could be not only one of the best players Serbia saw since Stankovic but we also thought that he could be a great role model for the kids here. Sadly that is not the case. He is just starting to look like a kid that got rich and thought that is bigger than the world. I really hope that he will turn it around somehow and show why we loved him so much.
