Ideally all polls are a wide selection of society. Unfortunately the are often not enough of a variety of voters.
So the margin of accuracy is not what it could be.
In 2016 the polls leaned toward Clinton(She was not my first choice) but she lost the electoral vote, even if she won the popular vote. That is just one example of how polls are not accurate.

Not sure what you mean. Stating the fact that the poll is within the MoE? That we are far out from polls being meaningful? If I were her I’d mention that it’s registered voters as opposed to likely (with likely being more accurate). BTW most likely voter polls usually don’t kick in until closer to the election because it’s a snapshot that is closer to being accurate.
This is not new. Even in 2016 the polls showed a statistically tied election. Just because the media failed to report properly what the polls were actually showing doesn’t necessarily mean they were incorrect. Mentioning the margin of error and explicitly stating that a poll is showing that the candidates are in fact statistically tied so that the audience understands what the information actually means.
