Kieron Dyer, famous for refusing to play in the position Bobby Robson wanted him to play. Sir Bobby sacked soon after for not being able to control the players. How dare he criticise others when he was an appalling professional himself.

A lot of ex pros in his Newcastle days say he was an up himself cunt. Walked around like he was the dogs bollocks. Sat away from the team in the canteen. Didn't acknowledge players when walking past them at the training base and regularly bullied the academy players. If 1 person says it you can argue they just don't like him, but when pretty much everyone says it, you know it's true.

I lost my dad in 2007 when I was 18. I had just went in the army in catterick, it was literally me first week when I got woke up 2am by a man I'd never seen in my life, he was with a Chaplain so I knew something bad must of happened. The chaplain sat me down and said my dad was dead and my mother was with the police, I thought I was having a nightmare and was slapping myself to wake up, but I soon realized It was really happening and I was awake. I then found out that my dad had took he's own life and my younger brother who was 15 at the time had found him. I was in bits and the next few year was a blur of drink, drugs, fighting and getting locked up. I went off the rails badly but thankfully I'm sound now, as is my younger brother who's having he's first child. Mental health and depression is such a horrible burden to carry on you're own, reach out to someone and talk about it instead of bottling it up. Don't take such an awful decision that will ruin you're loved ones lives 💔

Unless people have experienced it they do not understand. Losing your parents is tough for most people. You need time to re-adjust & come to terms with things. People deal with things in their own way & in their own time. Most seed support & help but unless you experienced it, how do they help?? My dad died when I was 14.5 & I also joined the army back in the 80’s only 18 months later, so I kind of know what you are saying. There was no support back then, people didn’t know what to say. I still feel now, even nearly forty years later that what happened then stil impacts on my life now in so many ways that it’s hard to pinpoint.

Interesting to hear KD talking about Shearer as captain.
Shearer gave 110% every game for a decade. He played through injuries and the pain barrier and never complained. He led by example and inspired the whole club.
Dyer, however, had a dreadful attitude and a very unprofessional approach to training and playing, and spent half of his time in the physio room. He should get a grip before criticising a legend of the game…

Why have you only got 33k subscribers? Your channel is the best sports interview channel out there. I’ve watched 2 of your videos and your ability to get the truth out of your guests is amazing. Dyer and Bellamy are often painted as “idiots” yet they are clearly clever guys. I have grown in admiration for both players as human beings. As players, I always thought they were top class and I was sad when they got moved on.
Souness managing Newcastle was the architect of our downfall from the highs. I remember him as a player, he was a thug. He wasn’t a player blessed with great ability, but he was technically sound, with massive aggression and passion. Souness tried to bring this style to his management and it doesn’t work. As Dyer says, Souness cost us progress into the UEFA Cup final, all for his ego. That failure didn’t just cost the players, but the fans and the club. Sometimes, you have to put your pettiness to one side. Pardew did the same to Ben Arfa as Souness did to Robert. Thank God we have Eddie Howe at NU now.
Keep up the great interviews and asking for the truth. If only all journalists sought the truth we’d not be facing economic depression across the West now.

Great players (except Cruyff, Zidane and Guardiola) don’t often make great managers. They know how to get the best out of themselves and leading by example, but their man management, understanding what is required in other positions and tactics can be underwhelming. Plus managers who were average or poor players (Mourinho, Klopp, Tuchel, Benitez, Howe) who retire from playing earlier, have more of a sense of drive to achieve what they couldn't as footballers and more time to accumulate football knowledge and understand psychology
