We spray them with rose water before coating them in icing sugar. The smell is Devine.

In Spanish aunt is "Tia". It's so cool how languages like Spanish, Italian, and Greek have similarities
The Greek language has nothing to do with Romance languages such as Italian and Spanish.
This are called gurabije in Albania to and are traditon safed for centruies ago in our country😉

Oh my god, i didn't know you were Greek too haha! Btw, Here in Greece we mostly eat kourabiedes during the (Christmas)holidays or maybe even during winter in general, along with another dessert called melomakarona.

Ooo these are so close to Russian tea cakes. My FAVORITE Christmas cookie ever. I swear I ate like 2 dozen in about a week and a half lol
And I think it’s basically like the Italian wedding cookies which I LOVE!

Ahhhh in Indonesia we make this for Festive Holiday season (Eid or Christmas). But we shaped it into cresent and call it "Kue Putri Salju" or Snow White cookies. The recipe and how it looks is verrryyy similar!
