*Pita Recipe*
3 cups flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 teaspoons salt
I cup warm water
2 tablespoons olive oil
7 grams active dry yeast
Whisk
Stream in oil water mixture at low speed
Knead dough til tacky 5 minutes
Form into ball
Coat in olive oil and cover top in olive oil
Place in bowl and rest 1-1.5 hours
In warm oven with light on til doubled
Punch dough, cut into eighths pie shape
Roll into balls, cover
Let rest 10 minutes
Roll out into flat pita shape
Place on parchment, cover, rest 20 min
Cast iron skillet cook tacky side down 25 seconds flip and cook another 30 seconds
Keep them covered after cooking

My bf likes to try and say things like that to me too. Then I just remind him I bought everything and if I want to, I'll smash it into little pieces, stick googly eyes on it, and name it Fred 😂
Obviously my bf is just joking. But sometimes the whole "you're not allowed to do this or that" schtick just goes a little too far and really ruffles my jammies.

Just made this! She is amazing and I was so inspiring!!! I NEVER baked! I don’t even have a roller or a that mixer.!!! I do think it needed a mixer and it definitely needed a roller! Mine were NOT pretty but a HUGE hit! My son teenage bought over 4 friends and are begging for more!
I don’t have a mixer either, but I really want to make them. Need the steps in slow mode lol 😝

Cooked on the grill (flat top, charcoal) was really good.
Edit: Grates, not flat top! Tried it on the grates and it puffed up like a balloon and was much better. Flat top was inferior by a wide margin.
