“Wouldn’t your home be built to maneuver in a wheelchair” is the most entitled “never had to experience disability” comment I think I’ve ever heard. Like “yes, my landlord knocked down the entire apartment building and rebuilt it just for me and my fucking wheelchair”. She’s rotten.
Agreed I ended up homeless for 6 months after I became fully wheelchair bound because I couldn't find accessible housing. I was lucky and found something that could be converted enough to be workable and safe. Unfortunately, it's been over three years that I've been unsuccessfully searching for a pet-friendly and wheelchair accessible place to live so that I could continue training my service dog. The lack of accessible housing is one of the major barriers in the life of a wheelchair user. It's also one of the largest barriers to true independence (for those of us with the ability to live alone if we had the opportunity.)
Literally. People don't understand how hard it is to have accessible housing if you don't have the money to renovate it yourself. Most homes or apartments aren't built with disabled people in mind, and most people end up having to have modifications done to pre-existing homes. Accessible housing is out there, but it's also hard to fulfill every single need without a large amount of money or resources and freedom to renovate or build your home. If you're a renter you basically just have to pray you can find a space that's good enough for you. And besides that, sometimes you gotta make sacrifices to make other things easier. If a closet is built as a walk in, that takes away bedroom space. But when you're disabled, having that extra space to maneuver through your closet can be crucial, even if it means sacrificing bedroom space. I'm sure he has more than enough room to get through, but with a large bed it makes sense the closet would be emptier.
Even if you own a house it’s not so easy to one afford a reno and two figure out how to navigate your space as a disabled person while in the middle of a renovation. A client I use to have finally got a bathroom renovation to best suit her needs 20 years after her parents bought their home. It took years of saving and a team of people willing to help her navigate the house and get her needs met while the bathroom got done.
I can understand what he's saying very clearly. His wheelchair doesn't fit easily because of the bed, so there's more room in the closet. This isn't rocket surgery. She's just ignoring his answers and honestly, it's infuriating. She was absolutely "taking the mick".
@@Gofftits69 Google "rocket surgery" - it's an old mixed metaphor combining "rocket science" and "brain surgery", often used for humorous effect (often enough to have been used in famous tv shows for a laugh, dating back decades)
I thought u was the only who understood💀💀💀like he literally said it and I find it funny that she says it doesn’t make logical sense when she clearly isnt using the gray matter she got
If I ever do anything ever that causes MARKIE to use the word "apology" in that tone about me, I know I would seriously reconsider all my life choices.
"Why're you in a wheelchair?" is sucha literal child thing to ask and then to DISREGARD the answer the person gives you and ASK AGAIN!? Ooooooooooh~HEATED. HEATED.
I missed that part and was going to ask if anyone had a timestamp to help me find it and get the context, but then I realized I really don't want to hear her speak ever again. Her being a mother is terrifying, indeed!
12:32 here’s the timestamp for anyone who needs it, and I deeply apologize for even offering you this chance to hear her voice again. As a female woman girl, and not as a mom, I would have hoped some instincts to kick in to not do this. I’ll go get my ukulele.
This situation is disgusting…..honestly, what do you gain from bullying someone with a disability that literally is just living their lives? This woman needs a reality check.
Attention, any kind of attention. If you can't get attention for something good, do something bad. It's quick and low effort and all you gotta do is forget your humanity.
That lady actually acted like she was providing a valuable service by scrutinizing and abusing him. Meanwhile, he is the hero here, for alot of reasons.
It’s the way she’s so privileged she can’t even comprehend the fact someone with a disability doesn’t have an accessible home… like Jesus not everyone has thousands to spend on that kind of stuff especially if they can’t work due to that disability. I don’t even understand her anger just over him filming in a closet ???? Like is he not allowed to go in there ? Plus the horrific things she said about him speaking and moving that’s actual insane behaviour. Her apology is clearly damage control because if she cared she would never say that regardless if she was educated on CB it doesn’t take a doctor to know not to say that to someone 🤨
Why would she be so hostile to someone she’s never met? Another commenter said karma’s coming for her and I sure hope it is. Btw, Amber, we notice your “arm movements” and know you’re trying to squeeze your boobs together so they look better. Your massive insecurity is on full display.
Not that it EVEN matters but it seems like it was a simple case of Internet lag causing his lip sync to be a little off. Nobody can help that. She just jumped on that be an ableist b*tch.
As someone who works with adults with disabilities and also has an adult son with a disability, this made me cry. Whether she knew what Cerebral Palsy was or not, she had zero excuses to treat him that way. Makes me wonder how she acts when she isn’t behind a camera.
How does any adult not know what cerebral palsy is? I've known since I was in preschool. We had a neighbor with it and my mom took us to visit him frequently. I've known many more awesome people with it since then. She's a terrible person, but her "apology" was better than most internet "apologies" I've seen. I still think she's terrible though.
I checked out her page… she’s just a terrible human 😓 her other live interactions aren’t much better and her full apology sucked. And yes I watched it in full.
I grew up with four boys, brothers, of whom three had Cerebral Palsy. The youngest, fortunately, was "normal". All four of them were like cousins to me. All of them sharp as a tack, and quick as a whip, in their own ways. The oldest, who was the most severely afflicted, actually became a stand-up comic. The middle boys, aka The Twins, both work at a local mechanic shop, and are taking care of their elderly momma now. It pisses me off to see people treat folks with CP as lesser individuals. Anyone with a disability, really. Most folks with disabilities are no different than anyone else, and those that are are still no less human. I don't understand how some people can dump on disabled folk and look at themselves in a mirror. I'm not the nicest guy on Earth. Heck, I'm kind of a jerk, really. But even I can't fathom crapping on the handicapped and disabled. Does this lady have no standards, at all? Show some decorum, ffs!
i just don’t know why she was so aggressive?? There was no reason for her to get so angry at that young man and be so combative. She’s not a good a person
@@redeye1016I think she is just so dumb she thought he was insulting her in some way or making fun of her or she is just so dumb she couldn’t comprehend and got mad
I can confirm 95% of homes are not wheelchair friendly! He most likely has a special bed with some kind of tackle equipment to help bed transfers. That said, his closest will have more room manoeuvre in!
A lot of times even a normal bed in the average bedroom isn't great for maneuvering a wheelchair around in. Also, a lot of able-bodied people film in their closets too. Sometimes it's the only place with the room for it. Especially when you have a tiny apartment. She is just unnecessarily mean and judgemental.
Her saying it didn't make sense that his home wasn't built for a wheelchair made me laugh. Does she have wheelchair renovation money? The average person does not have wheelchair renovation money. It would cost extra to build a home specifically for wheelchairs too so I don't know where she got the idea that everyone who uses a wheelchair has a wheelchair friendly home.
I hardest thing about being disabled... is people interigating you of why. Im 26 disabled and people press me of why I dont wanna talk about my disability and im sure he doesn't want to either hes so much more then just a disability. He's amazing He is a human.
I hate people who accuse people of faking disabilities, especially when they clearly don't know anything about the disabilities in question. She even admitted she doesn't know much about it, and still thought she was qualified to fakeclaim someone? This behavior ruins our lives and puts our livelihoods in jeopardy. But to everyone who's shocked, you need to realize this is NOT uncommon. I bet a lot of the people "outraged" go on and fakeclaim people with other conditions...
What a vile woman, this poor guy! She is that teacher we all had before the age of 7 who had no business being around sensitive kids , I hope she hasn't discouraged him from putting himself out there❤
Literally- my first grade teacher used to yell at us and tell us that we were the reason her blood pressure was so high. She even randomly brought up how back in her day, we (white and colored children) wouldn’t be in the same classroom.
For me grade 2 and grade 8. My grade 8 teacher would use me as an EXAMPLE of "what not to be" and would make me cry in class, then would send me to the "special kids" class any time I was giving her "issues"
Glad to know I wasn't the only one with a bully teacher when I was young. My second grade teacher made me read a story out loud about these dinosaur friends that were moving away from each other and changed one of their names to mine and made me continue reading it while I cried. It was my last day there before I moved and I was devastated to be leaving my friends. I have never forgotten it cuz it broke my heart so much and she didn't even care 😔
My First Grade teacher noticed I got anxiety from a book. So she made me read it to her every day instead of playing with my friends at recess. It was about the circus and I have panic attack level fear of clowns from being in the children's hospital alot as a kid. She was intentionally making me read a picture book that gave me panic attacks. She also said if we couldn't spell a word we couldn't say it in her classroom. I got a note sent home because I "used words I shouldn't" and got my ass beat. It was only after that my guardians found out I had just used the words "caterpillar" (I kept spelling it with an e) and "metamorphosis" when talking about butterflies. I was 6. Fuck you Mrs Clower. My Third Grade teacher would tell us students are the worst part of teaching and she was only holding off retirement until her grandson was able to be in her class. She would openly mock me for my in class disability accommodations so I would get bullied. Screw you Mrs George you old hag!
then again that isn't the strangest thing I've heard one say either but it is kinda crazy that it isn't the craziest thing someone said in this video...
@@Grace-vv7id to be fair, there are sadly, entire parts of the world where that is an actual reality. It speaks volumes to your quality of life and just how fortunate you are, that such a thing is so baffling to you. While it isn't perfect, and definitely isn't always a rose garden, life in the West is, generally speaking, pretty good. Those of us so fortunate should be grateful that we don't have to live the kind of hell that makes such things a normal occurrence.
@@SkunkApe407I think it's wild *because* it was a rich-ass westerner in a suit bragging about slitting throats and holding babies, lol If that man has ever done that... it probably would have been in the military, on behalf of the US govt. Maybe he could have held a baby he orphaned. Def wouldn't be his own kid. No matter what, he would still be the problem. I think it's a "dude's running his mouth" thing more than a west vs global south thing. Nobody outside of organized crime or indoctrinated groups actually glorifies that mentality. Nobody wants babies near conflict! _Don't go to your family while you're red hot, holy hell lmao_ Man really cannot imagine retaliation
when he said “i’ve been born with the heart of a lion” i literally started crying. Can’t believe how heinous she had the nerve to be, but I’m so glad at least he’s had sort of a chance to tell her off on when talking to Ophelia
As someone with a disability (In The US specifically), I firsthand see how the general population often thinks we have things handed to us because of our conditions. Little do they know, we are not allowed to make anywhere near a livable wage for even someone without complex conditions, and if we do, we immediately lose our insurance. We also cannot get married for the same reasons so there are only informal ceremonies unless the family is very wealthy. I can’t just ask a realtor for an accessible house or apartment and have it given to me for free. Those housing situations cost so much extra money, as insurance often doesn’t cover it. To have it covered, you would need both Medicaid and Medicare at the same time, which most states do not allow young people to access (Medicare specifically). To even be able to get a wheelchair, people have to go from appointment to appointment while literally being carried everywhere because your insurance may not have clear guidelines on who should write the prescription. Even accessible houses and living spaces aren’t even fully accessible, as they have a quota to meet with ADA guidelines rather than having to have everything up to a certain code. And I really want to make known that if we make literally $1 over the monthly/yearly income limit, we lose everything, sometimes including our lives.
My girlfriends dad has narcolepsy and cataplexy (I think that's how it's spelled?), and he is a welder. He had to be a welder because disability didn't cover his children. The US government has failed the disabled people they're supposed to be taking care of.
Very well said. I was a property manager for my father for 2 years. He owned a real estate company that had property management for people that wanted to pay someone to manage their properties. So with that said it made me horribly sad when someone would call and ask if we had any wheelchair accessible apartments and had to turn them down.
And what pissed me CLEAN TF OFF was during the live he told her he had Cerebral Palsy and asked if she knew what that was and she said yes! But during her “apology” she was all “I educated myself on cerebral palsy” I’m so over that woman. Disgusting
Some people are always banging on about their rights but they have no problem stepping all over others. She's a nasty, disrespectful and entitled horror who probably only "apologized" because of the backlash. Imagine behaving like that without any knowledge about the situation or life he lives?
With that as her excuse and her exploding about him not being a 'real disabled person,' I fear her day likely included "exposing" a disabled person before this interaction. She was poised to pounce as soon as she saw him.
Yeah that shows who you are in your heart and in your spirit. No matter how mad or upset I am there are certain things I couldn't say to another human because it's just not who I am. If you're angry and say something ableist then that's just who you are.
Why can’t these people just ever admit they’re ignorant horrible people who did something cruel and will try to reduce the behavior in the future. No one cares that she has kids or was having a bad day.
I love Mamma Tott. She’s one of the few good people left on TikTok. She needs to be protected at all costs, and bless her for standing up for this sweet guy.
As someone with Cerebral Pauley, I am angry for this man. I have met so many people like her, asking similar questions, especially since I'm not in a wheelchair, I was lucky and my case is very mild so I don't look like I'm disabled.
Emma, I have mild cerebral palsy too. People do ask questions and days it is very difficult to deal with, even with those who have the best of intentions. I'm just sending this to you to reach out cause it can be hard sometimes. Wishing you all of the best.
I feel for you. I don't have it by my BIL has and he gets so much crap from people and even his family members about his condition. I'm sorry you have to deal with idiots
@@athanksgivingbaby570 I would be more understanding if it was because she was disabled but she isn't. She really shouldn't care at all. Even if it was a "scam", it doesn't concern her
@@athanksgivingbaby570I hear a lot of stories with people like this always thinking people are faking disabilities and it's almost always people with no understanding of them
@@GoodTimeForARoll most people who are disabled experience abled people doubting them and assuming they're exaggerating so much that typically speaking they're the last ones to accuse others of lying about their symptoms unless its like. plainly obvious. like making up new symptoms to excuse specific bad behaviors. similarly. no one who's disabled and has had to experience the system would ever accuse someone else of doing it for disability payments. You have to live in essentially poverty and never own a cent over the exact precise amount or you'll be denied medical insurance. There are people who've had their claims for their disability denied and in the same envelope as their official denial for coverage are resources for suicide prevention. the idea of disabled people making things up for the benefits is abjectly stupid to anyone who knows a single thing about it. its an abled person's fantasy.
As a person also born with CP, people are awful even when you're initially seen as "passing" for an able-bodied person. It's almost like as soon as you divulge you have a disability, they treat you like you're not a person deserving of basic decency. Hope the lady gets the life she deserves 🤷🏼♀️
As a wheelchair user who comes from a family of very little money, this is infuriating to me. I can't access most of my parents' house where I live FFS because there's not the money to renovate it to make it accessible. It's so infuriating that her inability to comprehend that there's a difference between the size of a room and the size of a space available leads her to accusing him of faking it. Like there's so many red flags for disabled people all in one fucking interaction.
As a disabled person, I can unfortunately say that what Amber said and did is far from an isolated case of awful behaviour. More than once, a total stranger has approached me in public and accuse me of faking being disabled. The most common accusation is that I'm "too young to be walking with a cane" or "not walking with a cane correctly". Both are absolutely ridiculous, of course. Apparently people can't imagine someone in their 20s being disabled or that maybe the reason someone is walking with a cane is more complex than having a bad knee. Random strangers also regularly feel like it's perfectly polite to just ask a disabled person why they're disabled. It's not. It's honestly a very weird thing to do because 1) you're expecting a stranger to disclose information about their health, and 2) you've apparently not considered the fact that the way in which someone became disabled might have been traumatic. Also, the "why" question is sometimes followed by a "how long" question for some reason. In my experience, people tend to feel pretty down when I tell them "oh no, I'll be suffering from paralysis fits for the rest of my life", and like, it's your own damn fault for asking.
I think something is very important to note here: just because someone uses polite language does not mean they are being polite. Just because someone speaks in a monotone does not mean they are being logical. Just because someone can enunciate their words clearly does not make them right. It does not make you “hysterical” to call out someone who is doing those three things bc someone can be the most well-spoken person in the world and still be a complete asshole. They’re usually called politicians, but we can see here an example of the peaked in high school variant as well.
It’s got that “I wanted to be a cop but washed out” vibe… literally sounds like an interrogation. It should be said though that some people (like myself) are just genuinely pretty polite, and when we get angry we get extra polite because we are restraining ourselves from saying things we’d regret. Though I do think I get more emphatic… anyways it doesn’t mean we are being rude we are just angry.
She speaks exactly like a former superior at work of mine! (I later changed jobs because of bullying) She looked at me and spoke EXACTLY the same way and asked the same type of questions (repeating questions, backing me in a corner, forcing me to just answer "yes" or "no" instead of giving me a chance to explain myself). It's terrible that there are people like that. And she always had this calm tone... Like you said, often times those type of people get into jobs where they can use this to their advantage over others! Watching this and her behavior combined with straight up ableism was absolutely chilling and makes me so angry. The poor guy!
As a disabled person (but with an invisible disability) I think people like this are so scary. Bullies and people who try to question your disability and everything and show 0 understanding or respect. I'm glad he is strong on the inside because I would be so sad and feel attacked in that situation. I really hope she *actually* reflects:( ❤️
Same here. Though I relish those idiots. I ask even more inappropriate questions. My favorite is, "Do these moronic gems just fall outta your mouth, or do you have to think about them?"
I have fibromyalgia and use a cane. I’ve been disabled since my 30s. One benefit of becoming middle aged is that folks no longer question me when I need to sit down.
The way I just cried in my car when he said he had the heart of a lion 😭 growing up with a parent that is disabled since a few months old I’ve learned to be a better person to people in general. You never know what disability someone has visible or not be a better freaking human being and we won’t have issues like this. People like her make me absolutely sick.
Treating someone with kindness, decency and respect does NOT require being educated about another person's circumstance. All it takes is being a good person. You could feel the revulsion, arrogance and superiority rolling off this lady in waves. You can almost see the thought process of "how dare this inferior human being even deign to speak to me." Kudos to the gentleman for rising high above the depths she sunk. You sir truly do have the heart of a lion.
And she implied that those three things have something to do with the “instinct” she “hoped would kick in”, but I’m pretty sure the “don’t be an ass” instinct isn’t exclusive to female girl women lol
What a horrible woman. I honestly can’t see how she could not know he has a genuine disability. I don’t know if her apology is genuine or just because she is getting so much stick for it.
Her apology video has all the energy of a 6 year old being forced to apologize for something they're not. If that's her attitude for being a literal garbage can, then her children are doomed.
why do some women want their men to be ready for murder at any given moment? I've been with a men who would constantly pick fights and it got so embarrassing, that I couldn't take him seriously anymore. anger kills logic, I like men who use their brain
That woman was infuriating and it was disgusting how she treated him. No one should talk to anyone like that. It must have been hard for him and who knows how it affected him but it was awesome to see him being so positive and upbeat!
For real! I'm trying so bloody hard not to scream out in anger after watching this cruelty. I literally feel nauseous. She might as well have never made a follow up video because her apology means absolutely nothing to me. She's so lucky she was behind a screen after treating that poor man so shamefully 'cause in real life she'd be knocked the hell out and rightfully so.
Nightshift care Practitioner working for people with disabilities. I think people forget that a wheelchair bound person will have a lot more equipment in their room than just a bed and storage. they might have a stand aide or hoist, a cammode, manual wheelchairs, sleeping systems which all take up a sizeable amount of space and maneuverability. A lot of people tend to talk down to disabled people but she was just plainly disrespectful....
He’s clearly an intelligent person. Who can’t communicate the same as she can. Yes his speech is different but he is very clear and articulate about his situation and why he records in the closet. She might be trying to bait others into an argument. Some people like a fight.
And her point was that he... must be faking a disability because he records videos in his closet? I've considered recording stuff in my bathroom just because the sound quality is different in there, doesn't mean I'm faking anything. She's absolutely vile and also stupid.
It's such a perfect demonstration of how just because someone has a speech impediment or physical disability, doesn't mean they're not intelligent, doesn't reflect on their cognitive abilities etc And also the opposite is shown in her case - just because someone is able bodied and doesn't have speech difficulties, doesn't mean they're not a fucking idiot She's next level stupid as well as cruel He's clearly intelligent and a good person You could actively see him trying to process how fucking stupid and absurd she was being:')
I'm noticing that when people get called out on something, they always say "I am educating/working on this" but then later go right back to the same BS Edit: Not saying this is new, but that recently people are acting like it will excuse their behavior in the future
Why did she do that? She recorded herself being a massive bully to a man (who kept his cool very well) with disabilities. She just made her deep seated ugliness a lot more surface for everyone to see.
I don’t have tiktok, so thank goodness Callum can keep me up to date with all these tiktok drama problems and some of the a**holes that exist on this app.
I am infuriated. She accused him of faking in order to get disability payments. She has no idea what cerebral palsy is, but then goes on to tell him how his speaking and movements don't match. Like...yes. That's part of how cerebral palsy presents, with uncontrolled movements. Even without that side of it, why the hell was she so insufferably rude about him filming in a closet? Even if he wasn't in a wheelchair, there is nothing weird about that. In some houses, it world be the only space without a lot of echoes or background noise if you want clean sound. Or it's just an out-of-the-way spot. I don't know why she felt it was something she needed to grill him on so intensely. You'd think she was trying to get to the bottom of a murder in a police interrogation room. It makes me unreasonably angry that she has people who watch her. What on earth does anyone get out of spending their time watching and listening to her? What is she possibly offering that makes people willingly choose to give their time and attention to her? Nope, I'm furious again. I am disabled myself and unable to work. It's an awful feeling when people seem to think that you need to justify your level of disability to their satisfaction before they believe that yes, you do have the right to park in the disabled space. Yes, you do need financial assistance in order to live. Getting accused of taking advantage of a system that is specifically in place to support you and others with disabilities feels like a slap in the face. I'm glad he doesn't feel too badly affected by this, because I know that I would find it really upsetting.
As someone with cerebal palsy since birth, I am mad. I was "lucky" and only have a milder form of it but this entitled behaviour makes me so frikkin' angry - like I love to answer questions but ask respectfully??? Gosh. Also me personally never wanted everything to be "made for me" - I want to try to "use" the world like a healthy person, and if I absolutely can't than I try to change it. Always hated it if someone tries to help me or take something difficult away from me from the get go - I can decide for myself if I can or can't do something, thank you very much.
She's just fishing for conservative clout. They don't care what she says, they just want to see her be rude to someone they think is their enemy. So it doesn't matter that she's repeating herself, the whole point is just for her to show how hard-hearted she can be. Sadly, this will most likely work out for her. She's mocking him with the "sir", and also displaying that she doesn't care what his name is. (There is a non-zero number of people who think that a lot of people who are living with conditions that they need accomodation for are "faking" it for the benefits, and they are angry that "their taxes" are going to help people. Shame on every last one of them.)
I know a lot of conservatives, and not a single one of them would act like this towards anyone, much less someone who has disabilities. U can’t paint an entire group of ppl with the same brush. That’s like saying all liberals r pd files bc JB likes to sniff kids and take showers with his daughter, Ashley, when she was a teenager. 🤷🏻♀️
The irony is there are innumerable conservatives, or people who vote republican, that bash on government assistance but are also on government assistance and and many who refuse to do anything to get off of it.
Pretty sure she was trying to catch him out as being some flavour of queer as well with all the questioning about the closet. Even if she did know what Cerebral Palsy is (clearly when she said 'yes' to his question she was lying), she wouldn't have been happy with any other answer than 'because I'm gay' or something along those lines
Are you seriously trying to make this a political things and accusing ALL conservatives of hating the disabled??? Wow. You and her have alot in common I see. 🤡
My blood was boiling throughout the entire clip of Kass and her and her apology seemed so fake. This was so disgusting. How tf is it 2024 and people are still so ableist and bigoted and pure... evil? Kass' words in the other live really shows his beautiful resilience and fortitude and kindness and I hope he inspires a lot of people with disabilities but he should NOT have to go through this...
🙃 Having a bad day? Go outside. Have a snack. Stay off socials. Talk to a friend or loved one. Watch a movie. Listen to some music. Play a board/card/video game. Take a nap. Clean. Take your dog for a walk. Pet a cat. Go to the mall. In no circumstance should you bully someone
I absolutely hate bullies! And she is a nasty example of one. What a horrible woman! Her apology means nothing, she’s only sorry she’s been called out for what she is!
Its literally so easy to not be a c u next tuesday Edit: girl has never been in an apartment or house that has been remodeled strangely. Ive seen places with bigger closets than bedrooms. Shes just used to her suburban cookie cutter karen life. 😂
Oh my god at one point when house hunting the main bathroom was so weirdly remodeled to be able to put a washer and dryer in that you had to do an awkward side shuffle between them and the corner of the counter to get to the toilet or shower.
This made me angry. I'm disabled but my brother is also disabled, he has cerebral palsy.he has had to deal with people like this it pisses me off he's a human ! it like she equates cerebral palsy with being Intellectually disabled shes disgusting.
Same?!!! The way my jaw literally dropped when she continued with her aggressive interrogation of this individual who is simply existing. No one needs to answer questions from someone like this. She’s not asking questions, she’s accusatory and essentially making rhetorical abusive and offensive/hateful comments. People like this do exist and it’s so disgusting not to mention discouraging…but don’t worry. There really ARE loving beautiful sincere people here who want to do good in the world. We need to find one another, and until then, we can be the good we want to see…in our own corner of the world. If this monster was rage baiting, then she got what she wanted. Find those who share in your view of the world…let’s turn the tide from the inside out!!! Xoxo
Oh my goodness what a horrible piece of work! She was so hostile and entitled, I felt sick watching that. I mean, look at her body language alone: crossed arms and looking down her nose at the person she's talking to. I felt so uncomfortable and angry at the way she treated him and the things she said. That poor man. I've worked with children with Cerebral Palsy and they are some of the most hopeful and driven children I've ever met. Why do people choose to act like that? I can't understand it. Just choose kindness, always. Good on him for not letting that interaction affect his self confidence and self esteem. I hope he gets everything he is dreaming and hoping for. Big love to him and warm hugs from Manchester UK xXx
It’s impressive to me that Ophelia’s son was murdered last year and she still finds the space and time in her heart to take up for others. She is an angel on earth.
I mean, she seemed to get over it pretty fast & easily move on with her life. Which blows my mind tbh. As a mom myself i just can’t fathom how a mom can do that.
This man reacted in the best possible way to her. She looks like the type of person who is out to get into a confrontation. Unfortunately I have met this kind of person. Something upsets them or doesn’t go their way and they will actually not stop to twist and turn and confront until they get the other person to feel bad, too. I think it gives them somehow relief from their own feeling of inadequacy and stops them from self reflecting.
Also can we appreciate how kind Ophelia is for bringing this situation to light and teaching (which is sadly still needed nowadays) that the behaviour of the bully is not the way to go! I'm glad there's a positive outlook, but my gosh, is it upsetting to see people be so out of touch and lose their kindness along the way

Thank you for covering this. I recently got my first wheelchair and the house the council has placed me in is so small I can't even use my chair indoors even though it would make me capable of doing a lot more things for myself. As if everyone can afford to live in a house with space to use a wheelchair... smh
My mom is a neuro rehab occupational therapist and has had to testify in court to get insurance just to cover medical cost (let alone house mods). PS- avoid State Farm!
I’m disabled and have limited mobility and currently have to bump down stairs like a toddler whilst I’m on the waiting list for an accessible or *adaptable* place here in the UK. I can guarantee that Kass’ situation will have been difficult because his family home would have been adapted for him growing up and made him a low priority for his own space as several of my friends went through this trying to gain independence. You have to either have enough money to outright get your own home and adapt it for your needs or get social housing as very, very, very few (in my experience and my friends anyway) private landlords are willing to adapt or allow you to adapt a private rental property.
Agreed
I ended up homeless for 6 months after I became fully wheelchair bound because I couldn't find accessible housing.
I'm sure he has more than enough room to get through, but with a large bed it makes sense the closet would be emptier.
obv bc the government give so much welfare for them yeah
Even if you own a house it’s not so easy to one afford a reno and two figure out how to navigate your space as a disabled person while in the middle of a renovation. A client I use to have finally got a bathroom renovation to best suit her needs 20 years after her parents bought their home. It took years of saving and a team of people willing to help her navigate the house and get her needs met while the bathroom got done.
I'm disabled and I'm a wheelchair & I don't have a wheelchair accessible home! This Women is the high school bully at the age of 40 something! Wth!

It’s silly to think it would slide on TikTok. She either tried and failed to be an ironic content account, or she feels good about the hate.

@Ashley-qu1bc I was gonna say, how did this interaction even begin? What an awful excuse for a human she is.
She's definitely the type who would put prom queen on her resume for the previous positions section. She even has the glory days look.
When she yelled at him for his hand movements and voice, I literally felt nauseous
Why would she be so hostile to someone she’s never met? Another commenter said karma’s coming for her and I sure hope it is.
Btw, Amber, we notice your “arm movements” and know you’re trying to squeeze your boobs together so they look better. Your massive insecurity is on full display.

I can confirm 95% of homes are not wheelchair friendly! He most likely has a special bed with some kind of tackle equipment to help bed transfers. That said, his closest will have more room manoeuvre in!
Exactly! Unless you have a shit ton of money to build your own wheelchair friendly home, you're gonna have to adept and adjust smaller spaces
Especially here in the UK where bedrooms tend to be smaller than in the US (from what I've seen)
@@reinasherman8009A lot of people film in their closet because it's easier to control the acoustics, as well.

Yoooo I feel that. Mrs. S was really a bully. Some people just should not be teachers

Very well said Monica. As someone on ssi I thank you
Absolute truth, every word
My girlfriends dad has narcolepsy and cataplexy (I think that's how it's spelled?), and he is a welder. He had to be a welder because disability didn't cover his children.
The US government has failed the disabled people they're supposed to be taking care of.
Very well said. I was a property manager for my father for 2 years. He owned a real estate company that had property management for people that wanted to pay someone to manage their properties. So with that said it made me horribly sad when someone would call and ask if we had any wheelchair accessible apartments and had to turn them down.

Some people are always banging on about their rights but they have no problem stepping all over others. She's a nasty, disrespectful and entitled horror who probably only "apologized" because of the backlash. Imagine behaving like that without any knowledge about the situation or life he lives?
Not even a minute of her talking and she's already reached the threshold for insufferable.

With that as her excuse and her exploding about him not being a 'real disabled person,' I fear her day likely included "exposing" a disabled person before this interaction. She was poised to pounce as soon as she saw him.
Fr like you’re basically saying that being hateful towards disabled people when you’re having a bad day cheers you up
Yeah that shows who you are in your heart and in your spirit.

PEOPLE CANT AFFORD CUSTOM ACCESSIBLE HOMES ESPECIALLY ON DISABILITIES SCREW THIS WOMAN
💯

I have never seen someone this ableist, until today. I JUST WANNA TALK to her. Don't let me, but glad he's taking it in stride.
She’s not sorry. There was no reason for any of what she said. What even is the point of her dueting random people? Is she like this to everybody?
Why was she so angry? What a weirdo.
a lot of people are mad that disabled people exist bc they're cryptoeugenicists
fr!!!
Because she's a republican
She's not angry, she saw an opportunity to bully another person and she took it.
why do some women want their men to be ready for murder at any given moment? I've been with a men who would constantly pick fights and it got so embarrassing, that I couldn't take him seriously anymore. anger kills logic, I like men who use their brain
Imagine assuming that all disabled people can afford to custom build their homes
That woman was infuriating and it was disgusting how she treated him. No one should talk to anyone like that. It must have been hard for him and who knows how it affected him but it was awesome to see him being so positive and upbeat!
She's talking to him the way police talk to murderers in interrogation rooms.
For real! I'm trying so bloody hard not to scream out in anger after watching this cruelty. I literally feel nauseous. She might as well have never made a follow up video because her apology means absolutely nothing to me. She's so lucky she was behind a screen after treating that poor man so shamefully 'cause in real life she'd be knocked the hell out and rightfully so.
bullies* are always so shocked by consequences of their own actions
Nightshift care Practitioner working for people with disabilities. I think people forget that a wheelchair bound person will have a lot more equipment in their room than just a bed and storage. they might have a stand aide or hoist, a cammode, manual wheelchairs, sleeping systems which all take up a sizeable amount of space and maneuverability. A lot of people tend to talk down to disabled people but she was just plainly disrespectful....
Bullying is a crime!
It's such a perfect demonstration of how just because someone has a speech impediment or physical disability, doesn't mean they're not intelligent, doesn't reflect on their cognitive abilities etc
And also the opposite is shown in her case - just because someone is able bodied and doesn't have speech difficulties, doesn't mean they're not a fucking idiot
She's next level stupid as well as cruel
He's clearly intelligent and a good person
You could actively see him trying to process how fucking stupid and absurd she was being:')
I'm noticing that when people get called out on something, they always say "I am educating/working on this" but then later go right back to the same BS
Edit: Not saying this is new, but that recently people are acting like it will excuse their behavior in the future
Why did she do that? She recorded herself being a massive bully to a man (who kept his cool very well) with disabilities. She just made her deep seated ugliness a lot more surface for everyone to see.
😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 this pissed me off even more cause I have CP too can she just shut the eff up if that was me you have NO IDEA!!!!!!!!
I don’t have tiktok, so thank goodness Callum can keep me up to date with all these tiktok drama problems and some of the a**holes that exist on this app.
Same.
My jaw was on the floor, this is disgusting behavior and no one should be treated like that. Its completely dehumanizing.
@@hocuspocus9904she does conservative content, it's logical to assume that she's trying to catch conservative cloud
I've never been more mad at anyone online that I am at this lady. WTF? He CLEARLY had Cerebral Palsy. What a horrible person.
WHAT DOES SHE MEAN HIS WORDS AND MOUTH MOVEMENTS DON’T MATCH?! They match to me!!
OoOoOhhh, she's pulling the "I'm ignorant, I'm a mother" card to try and get away from the consequences of her own action
I absolutely hate bullies! And she is a nasty example of one. What a horrible woman! Her apology means nothing, she’s only sorry she’s been called out for what she is!
Its literally so easy to not be a c u next tuesday
Edit: girl has never been in an apartment or house that has been remodeled strangely.
I didn't get that she was making an I/DD vs. CP comparison, it seems like she was just accusing him of faking
I've never rolled my eyes so hard at her "apology" video. Absolutely disgusting.
She's intentionally causing him to struggle, GDFC!!! I just went from 0 to 60, for the first time ever in 12 years watching CZcams.
Xoxo
I've never seen Momma Tot so angry!!!! She's such a beautiful hunan! Ppl like her make me miss tiktok! Horrible a$$ app!!!!
She seems cool. I got distracted by watching her fuming about that idiot that for a bit I totally missed the bird just hanging out on her shoulder.
Her harassing that poor disabled man seriously made me mad.
It’s impressive to me that Ophelia’s son was murdered last year and she still finds the space and time in her heart to take up for others. She is an angel on earth.
I didn’t know that happened ): her videos always bring me so much joy, that breaks my heart for her
@@karinanicole3665 so you watch her videos but don’t know about what happened to her son last year?🤨
I mean, she seemed to get over it pretty fast & easily move on with her life. Which blows my mind tbh. As a mom myself i just can’t fathom how a mom can do that.
@@anabella4166 nobody knows what goes on in her life once her camera turns off, I'm sure she's been dealing with it in her own way
@@anabella4166why does it matter????
This man reacted in the best possible way to her. She looks like the type of person who is out to get into a confrontation.
Unfortunately I have met this kind of person. Something upsets them or doesn’t go their way and they will actually not stop to twist and turn and confront until they get the other person to feel bad, too. I think it gives them somehow relief from their own feeling of inadequacy and stops them from self reflecting.
This is disgusting she doesn’t need a platform
Thank you so much for spreading light on this situation!
As someone in a wheelchair she pisses me off, that poor guy. She’s so rude
Watching her talk to him was genuinely hard. I can't wrap my mind around that kind of callous bullshit
This hurt watching her be so rude to him 😢
This situation is absolutely infuriating, and I'm so glad you are giving her no slack omg she's awful
Also can we appreciate how kind Ophelia is for bringing this situation to light and teaching (which is sadly still needed nowadays) that the behaviour of the bully is not the way to go! I'm glad there's a positive outlook, but my gosh, is it upsetting to see people be so out of touch and lose their kindness along the way
This woman is VILE.. I couldn't even begin to understand how someone can be so rude and disgusting to harass someone like this.. not just someone with a disability this young man is so much more than his disability.. she needs a reality check this is absolute vile behavior... I can't believe people could be like this and to think she is broadcasting this to an audience like she is somehow in the right absolutely disgusting... this man deserves so much kindness and compassion... he is a role model so strong and positive ... you never know what battle someone is fighting it takes nothing to be kind if there was more kindness in the world this world would be such a better place.
I’ll tell you one thing:
I bet you a box of donuts she wouldn’t come with this energy to another person who isn’t disabled or in front of her.
After hearing her last comments to him, she seemed to be suggesting that he's faking his disability. Just vile behavior from this woman.
That woman is beyond ignorant & disrespectful 🤢💯
I’ve been waiting on you to find this and expose this monster to CZcams 😂
ETA: I’ve been waiting on you to find this but I can’t even watch it again. It breaks my heart. He’s trying to be nice & explain things while she’s obstinately pretending she doesn’t understand. I can’t stand her 💔
I suffred a tramatic brain injury...i was a prolific reader and had a pretty decent vocabulary after my accident i suffred form a major speech impediment and asphyaia ( sp? - i know what word i want to say in my head but i pshycally cant make my body produce said word) these two things mixed w my autisum makes for me social interaction a major task. I suffer from major anxiety if somone did to me what she did to this guy id just shut down outta shear fustration. Shes has no excuse for this behavior she just wanted to be crule and nasty so she wss period. Im so glad that this man was able to handel her unnessacary rudeness some folks just dont pratice common deacency❤
This is how she talks to herself in her head all day, that’s why it’s so easy for her to speak to another like that. And it brings me a bit of peace, knowing that her narcissistic butt will not experience one minutes of genuine happiness or love for her own self for her entire life.
My heart truly breaks for this poor young man, it's so amazing how strong and positive he is throughout this situation. I wish nothing but the best for him 💗🙏
That pathetic excuse for a woman should be absolutely ashamed of herself, I can't even understand how someone can be so vile and disrespectful 😢
People like this are why I kind of try to stay off of TikTok.
I deleted TT about a year and a half ago. Best decision ever. There's nothing I miss. If something grand happens, someone one YT will mention it (like Markie). I just think that place is infested with brain rot, who unfortunately drown out those who are genuinely good to watch.
@@everlynevinsme too 😢 and Facebook its just as bad put go through comments on CZcams too ppl just toll ppl just because they are having a bad day 😢 but this lady is out there 😮
Thank you for covering this.
Omg that certainly did make me angry! How disrespectful
