Yella: “Yeah, I was there!”
Interviewer: “So what happened?”
Yella: “Well, I wasn’t there when it happened.”
Remind me to get Yella as an accomplice when I commit a crime!
The outsiders they are called accountants..
Accountants is the key 🔑 word
Exactly because Yella was a long for the ride and that's why he ended up homeless because he said Dre ask him to help produce all of those albums for ruthless and he turned it down so Dre had to do it by himself plus all the publishing went to the company and not the artist so that outsider talk is some bullshit and eiht it's Yella interview not yours
The outsiders are the homeboys who were asking Cube why does Eazy (R.I.P) have more than you? Why are still living in your parents house? That’s the outsiders Yella is referring to. Yella got fucked out of his rightful share just like the others in NWA.
Brian Turner was in Cube’s ear and gave him the leverage to leave and become a solo artist and Brian Turner ended up screwing Cube also. Suge convinced Dre to leave promising him his masters from Ruthless which he never got and ended up signing an even worse deal at Death Row. He didn’t own a single thing and had to pay Eazy 20% of everything he worked on. He was lucky Jimmie Iovine loved him and paid him on the side.
Jimmy iovine definitely loved Dre Dre lol 👉🏻👌🏻!
@@goofballlarry2031 yeah I’ve heard the rumors as told by Tupac lol
It' wasn't Brian Turner it was a woman who work for ruthless and she became Cube's manager when he left the group her name is Pat Charbonnett , you'll see her name on the Friday movie as well as associate producer but Cube said she told him that Jerry is a crook and watch out for him and that's the same reason Arabian Prince left the group first because he was up on Jerry and they wasn't getting the money for the music they made
@@biged5149 I thought it was Brian Turner since he was the one hooking Cube up with the Bomb Squad and really pushed for Cube’s solo career.
Dre signed over his ownership Suge wasn't doing him dirty on no business he was sleeping with his baby mama that's why he left and jimmy helped him so he can get Suge out the way
It was the contracts
Love this interview
Great interview of MC Eiht
Yella put out some of that legendary Devlin WEED content too 😎 (IYKYK)
Podcaster asking the following question to Yella :" What caused NWA to break up"
Mc Eiht before he can even give his answer:" well at some point NWA had to deal with some internal misunderstandings and you know bac then in compton it was more like....."
🤦🏿
Mc Eiht act like he’s being interviewed
@@dabasheaba I can't stand big homie anymore because of that.
I can’t either
Arabian Prince said he was the first to tell cube about the business. Cube saw Arabian Prince and said how did you get that's referring to Arabians money. After that cube was on his way out
“Y’all better watch that dude (Jerry).”
The outsiders told them what they should be getting if the money was right wouldn’t be no outside people
It ain't just black people.
I wish he would have asked DJ Yella about the Arabian Prince leaving NWA first:(.. He Co/produced damnn near 5-6 songs on Straight outta Compton...it's like Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Dj Yella avoid talking about Arabian prince😢😢😢 Mc Ren spoke up on him a few times in interviews??
The best way is to try to reach out to him ourselves
We know about folks getting in Ice Cube's and Dr. Dre's ear. Who was in MC Ren's ear?
Nobody, Ren and Yella stayed til the very end. Even The DOC came back after he had a fall out with Suge. Not as an artist but Eazy paid for his vocal treatments in late 1994
The Nation of Islam
@@dariog36thfor real? The Doc never says this though
@@vidabohemme Lil Eazy said it. I can imagine why DOC wouldn’t say anything about it and that’s because Eazy was the type to do something nice for someone and not want anybody to know.
@@dariog36th never heard of the DOC going back to Death Row.
Samething with SOB x RBE
What tapes is Yella talking about here? Unreleased NWA music? And who stole the tapes?
In the contract contracts. #ReadingIsFundamental #PayAttentionToDetailDetails #TheFinePrint
It was the best thing that ever happened they broke up
It's funny how ice cube and Dre left Eazy E to go to Death Row and Priority, and we know for a fact they were getting screwed on money when they left. Suge was screwing all of the death row artists.
Priority was paying their paychecks and that's what Priority Records wanted in the first place
and suge neva really gave af bout his artist he ran his label like a fucking gang and that’s why Dre bounced cause I guess he realized the grass wasn’t greener on the other side🤷🏾♀️
They weren’t smarter. They just knew and y’all didn’t
The ironic thing is that Cube and Dre left Ruthless due to having bad deals just to go and sign bad deals the next place they went to.
@@dariog36th I bet Cubes next deal was still way better, but not Dre's.
@@AM-dl7ot Cube got better after he wrecked Brian Turner’s office and reconstructed his contract and he had the backing of the NOI that provided him with lawyers. But yeah, Dre didn’t own a single thing when he was at death row and left with nothing. He had to burn his house in Calabasas to get insurance money cause he didn’t have a dime. Same mansion he bought when he was still at Ruthless.
@@dariog36th Damn, I didn't knew about Dre's mansion.
@@AM-dl7ot yeah he didn’t have money to pay his legal bills when he beat up that woman so he burned down a piece of his house. Eazy knew all about it cause Dre stayed right around the corner from him so word got out quick.
Yella won't even say Suge name wow. He definitely don't won't no smoke
any shape or form no misunderstandings.
Even if they got a worst deal hell Dre and cube they acted like little privileged kids mad over a deal when to me anything is better than living in the hood like I’d rather a fucked up record deal and still live in a nice mansion and have nice cars than live in Compton
Is this king yella dad
Who?
😂😁😭
MC Eiht is going to be the downfall of this show because he won’t get out of the way and let the guest share there thoughts and experiences. And It’s a serious problem now because he’s reacting like there asking him, and his cohost need to man up and tell him.
It was the contracts
