I bought the Yomo & Maulkie album when I first came out. My mission was to buy ANYTHING that came out on Ruthless.
Hell yeah
Same here. That’s how I ended buying The DOC album. Fucking classic.
Eiht used to be so quiet but now!...he speaks for everyone!!!
“Yella what do you think about this?”
EIHT - SO WHAT I THINK

Yomo and Maulkie with Jewell on the hook.
👀
hail yeah, eye jus got thru typ’n this same comment ✌🏿
They just replayed the same beat for bone thugs. So it was still Jewell voice on the hook.
Yomo & Maulkie's 1991 album: Are U Xperienced?, is dope from start to finish- no skips!!!!
Agree! That album was the shit!
I'm surprised it flopped.
Eiht having flash backs 🤣
Will somebody tell eiht that he's not being interviewed damn smh
Dude was around that time so he knows what he's talking about.
@@southsidecompton9668 I didn't say that he didn't know I'm just saying the interview wasn't about him and I was around that time and NWA blew up in 88 doing major tours across the country with a double platinum album plus Eazy solo album went platinum and Compton s most wanted debut album came out in 90 and the shit didn't even go Gold and eiht didn't blow up to after menace to society and his first 3 albums didn't go Gold so basically outside of Compton and certain regions he was unknown so he was no where near the level of what yella was talking about and DJ Quik was the next dude to blow up with a almost platinum album and did major tours and was getting the women so I know what the fuck I'm talking about lil homie
Hopefully Bg Knocc out and Dresta next 🙏🏽
Eazy had so much game DJ Quik said that Eazy took him backstage to Guns n Roses concert and all of their groupies were all over Eazy
Jewell!
😆
learned something new. didn't know they used "Love of Money" .... I'm actually listening to that Yomo & Maulkie album now
OG DJ YELLA#1 OG N.W.A.#1
For the love of money sample beat is on nwa niggazforlife album that was 2 year's before he met bone
Oh really, what song!😂
@@squireboi318 is a skit on appetite of construction after the song
@@tobiashillsjr8420 naw fam, that’s actually Parliment’s “I’ve Been Watching You” a little similarity tho. Remember Dre was heavily into P-Funk back then. CZcams that song!
@@squireboi318 ok
Yomo and Maulkie did it first. Same beat, same hook but Bone changed the lyrics. I had all of the Ruthless records catalog. Except the white girl they signed. I even had Player Ham join.
Being from the area Yomo & Maulkie hit real situations....
Yeah I bought that yomo and maulkie album and they actually had video for the love of money but Bone did it better
Tara B. 😂
Did you have Atban clan, HWA, GBM and blood of Abraham too?
@@BigMac785 Blood of Abrham released an album. But Atban, GBM, Brownside, etc never released an album. HWA only released an EP.
You can tell Eiht was reminiscing about all the box he was getting at those pool parties. He acts like he wants to go back in time and live that life again
yeah...he got excited....lil tear in his eye lolll....bruh working on a time machine in his bedroom right now
it waz on yomo n maulkie’z album feat jewell
Eith is an OG. He can speak, let ‘em talk
Had never even heard the Yomo & Maulkie version until now after this video.
Shidddddd...everybody is using that Trillville "Some Cut" beat!!!
The guy that play as Yella he from Orlando
Why didn't Yella do more beats instead of going xxx🤨
@1:18 In Reggae they call it Dub ..Dub plates or Version @4:06 😩💀💀💀💀
Love Eiht but damn he constantly talking over everyone.
If it dont make dollars it dont make since
*Eastside Low Bottoms sh*t !*

Speaking of the pool parties, I bought an NWA pool party DVD from Warehouse Music. It had to be damn near 20 years ago - and I still have it ! I haven't watched it in years but if I'm not mistaken, they were recording skits as well. I remember seeing The D.O.C. playing Cube with a dry azz Jheri curl wig eating ice from a cup, going in to talk to Jerry Heller.
Off topic:
I was always curious about what the story was of how Eiht ended up in the ODB Shimmy Shimmy Ya video...
Please let him talk eight damn
"Too" is spelled wrong.
Project Pat and UGK
Pimp c ask could he used the beat the exact beat and everything juicy n Paul wanted to change it but pimp said nah leave it like it is
Chamillionaire and slimm Calhoun
Slimm had the beat n song.: worldly ways
Cham used it for think I’m crazy the hook is sung in the same tone as slimm’s
The lyrics talkin about the same topic as slim
Eiht went from not talking ever, to talking too damn much.
Another Mc EIHT interview as usual.
Steel is a big softie" was yall really with peoples wives?"
Ok, enough is enough. MC Eiht is gonna kill this Podcast bcz he can't control himself. I'm starting to think that him on this Podcast is a bad decision.
They asked DJ Yella a question and DJ Yella started talking and MC Eiht finished DJ Yella's sentence😅, then he kept going on about himself
Stop that hating 😂
@@pureuncut187 I actually fukz wit Eiht... But Yo!!! He has to let the guest speak for themselves...and let the convo circulate around the room.
Lol, Eiht ain't that bad... But I do feel you, because that's exactly how I feel about Nore on Drink Champs. Man, if you think Eiht is bad, you'd think Nore is the worst. Lol😂
@@killasic Yeah, ...Nore does interrupt his guests a lot...but Eiht just keeps going and going and going. Then, wash and repeat every question damn near...
Steel too big to be sittin in the middle..
who was invited to the pool parties?
