Fixed a laptop that would've been thrown out because its power button cable wasn't making a proper connection. Sometimes it really is just dirt.
Really like the fact that you're doing more than just GPU repairs. Keep them coming!

Fun fact, this was a very common problem on Samsung Galaxy S4 phones. Power button would stick, phone would turn on then turn off after 10 seconds and start boot looping. You couldn't take the switch itself apart, but after feeding a small drop of silicone spray lube (on the pointy end of a toothpick) into the switch housing and repeatedly clicking the switch, it came unstuck. Never had a problem with it again. It's odd that they used actual metal in the contacts on this one. More common to see conductive rubber pads on the underside of the buttons.
For this kind of things I think ButtonWorx (from ps1repair) can help. You can stick it on the pcb and it more or less seals the contacts. I tried it and works great. Nice to see you do a video in another kind of field :-)

Great detective work, we need to slow down (as in the vid) and don't always assume the worst.
Just bought a ORX it powes up but Acts like it's locked up. Everything is charged up the coil and Box both. I'm never going to buy another XP. It lasted for about 1 hour after I bought it brand new !!!!

Open the remote and clean the speaker, mine had same issue and it was full of ferrite
