  • [Presented by Allegra] This five-minute warmup is the perfect way to start any workout, from high-intensity cardio to low-impact Pilates or yoga. Preparing your body for movement is key to maximizing your time and energy during any exercise routine, as well as preventing injuries. So take the time to stretch and set your intention for the work ahead. How you start is just as important as how you end! You can even use this as a standalone stretch that can be done any time, anywhere.

Although, Malsana is more advanced pose which you can do only when you prepare your Hips to do this, I think with less advanced groups after 15-25 minutes. You have to do longer preparation for it with more advanced yoga students too.

Never give your people this pose with one leg up during safe warm ups. They aren't warm enough to do this more advanced position. They can fall over easily.
