  • Pao fan is really just a way of using up all the leftover ingredients in the fridge. To elevate your pao fan to the next level, you want to add crispy rice and egg floss! In this video, I'll show you how to make these, as well as an easy way of making a delicious seafood soup base!
For the rice, I'll be using Okome USA Calrose rice which is a short/medium grain rice, that retained its shape and bite really well even after it has absorbed the tasty seafood stock!

I do wash the meat before mincing.

@@anniebethancourt3123 Yes, if I am mincing my own meat, I would wash it before I mince. However, the wash is not to remove bacteria, its more for removing the blood and serum, in which case I would actually soak it for a while and allow the water to turn pink.

@@anniebethancourt3123 hmm my mum also said need to wash before mincing. She say cannot wash after minced. I only washed once after minced and the meat is tasteless so i got scolded. My mum say those stall will definitely wash before mincing our meat.
Well i no idea if they washed because i never paid attention in the past.
