Hi

Arsenic is green
To answer Jeannie’s question about the algae bloom on that lake in Ireland no, absolutely nothing native to the lake can live in an algae bloom like that it has something called cyanotoxins that kill local wildlife decently easily. Also, to address what Henry said about anything green is nutritious for you, in this case never eat the algae or the water in a lake or pond like this because it can cause you headaches, diarrhea, stomach pain, vomiting, dizziness, muscle weakness and sometimes even liver damage.
So it's alcohol?
so basically a Monday after the weekend?
It’s called eutrophication and usually occurs when nitrogen from fertilizer gets washed into a lake after rain causing like what they said, an algae bloom
Think we could use it as an oxygen or fertilizer if we harvested it? Gotta be some use for that much...
The algae in that lake is absorbing tons of carbon gas and mass producing O2. Which also kills everything living there. So much CO2 has been dissolved in oceans and lakes that photosynthetic microorganisms thrive and can out compete just about anything at this point.
Fun fact cheetah cubs fur patterns resemble honey badgers as a for of intimidation tactic as most animals are afraid of them.
Thanks for saying. I also said the same thing.
Honey badgers are the best
That raises a question, which one came first? Cheetah or Badger
I WAS GONNA SAY THAT, YOU STOLE MY THUNDER!
but yes you are correct
The coloration of a honey badger most likely came first. My reasoning, skunks. They are black and white, which also screams f around and find out.
I would gratefully welcome hour long videos of these two reacting to curious/cute animals
On the topic of the Alaskan mattress: It's most likely intended for the entire family to be able to sleep together in the winter so that they can share body heat. There are a lot of people living off the grid and gathering resources is hard enough with the topography, so finding a way to save a bit of the fuel or firewood you'd be using to heat your house through an arctic winter is important.
Because when I lived off the grid I could afford a 5000 dollar mattress
No. It's called an Alaskan King because Alaska is big. That's it. There isn't anything more to it.
The next two most common mattress sizes down are Texan King and California King. The California King I think got called that less as a size reference and more because I think it was first made there. Then after that the Texan King was crowned because it was bigger than the California King, and the Alaskan King just topped the Texas King.
Yeah, when I was in Alaska one summer there was tons of merch in gift shops talking shit about how Texas is like only half their size, lol.
@@Regolith86 The absolute biggest mattress is the Guy With Small Penis King. Incredible size, dwarfing the Alaskan like a goddamn tonka toy at a Monster Truck rally.
Lmfao! Obviously never lived off the grid! Thank you for the wisdom oh wise one!
Fun fact a aircraft carrier never travels alone. It’s part of a carrier group of like 12 support ships. The US had 11 such carrier groups.
Its depressed and needs its emotional support fleet to cope with international travel
some of those support ships have been documented to fire on friendlies in the same fleet historically
@@xyreniaofcthrayn1195 Now they are used to facilitate Israeli war on Palestine and Palestinians does not have any ships so that is unlikely to happen unless they mistake one of their own ships for a Palestinian hospital or something.
@@rustknuckleirongut8107 Kind of true. They'll probably end up destroying most of their equipment themselves and not by the enemy, as usual. Not sure why US Military is so incompetent though, not enough practice? Literally all for show and for what, you could have educated and healthy citizens, who are an actual threat to other nations. Now people are hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt when they graduate and then stay afraid of a broken leg for the rest of their lives, so as to not go bankrupt.

I flew over the Shanxi solar field (commercial obviously). It was pretty impressive as is a much of the technology and architecture in China, both old and new. I spent four months total, 62 cities, Beijing to Mongolia. Pretty amazing. This was in 2014 &
2015 before the “social score” thing really kicked in. That said- cameras were prolific in the commercial areas of every city. Not so much on the back streets and places not intended for “outsiders”. Of course that’s where I spent most of my time…
I like the idea of themed videos like this on educational content, maybe worth considering other subjects
When they were telling us about the Gecko, I heard “Only about the size of a Credit Card” and my mind added “But can save you 15% on your car insurance”.
Sounds like dystopian capitalism.
I hate that I had the same thought
9:38 That turtle had urgent news to deliver to the king. It could not wait.
"Simba, you must return to the pride. Scar has been clapping your mother!"
8:00 explanation: the fur of young cheetahs is to look similar to the fur of honeybadgers. Those are so agressive that they even attack lions or other big animals. They got a sturdy hide which makes them possible to even endure claws. meanwhile they are the same height as those cubs and if some predator sees those colors they avoid it in most of the times.
I legit just subbed. I've been playing your videos as I work for about a year or so. I thought I was subbed as your videos comprise 40% of my CZcams home screen.

That warship is actually an aircraft carrier and will likely be protected by lots of other ships and submarines. It can hold up to 90 aircraft and 4500 people. According to an article I saw the aircraft carrier has with it a guided missile cruiser and four guided missile destroyers. It is the first full deployment of these new aircraft carriers.

@1:10 The green stuff lives for light, anything under several inch is just a lake. Tho that level of algie is conserning. but when thinking space trawel, a quite cool tech!
The algae is probably so thick because it is close to shore. Wind and wave action condenses it where there is a barrier to movement.

Difference between UK & US for the soda, you can also put the ingredient & not just the size. . . i'm pretty sure one have 4times the sugar while only being twice the size for sure.
us soda has less sugar btw...
Literally going to google the question, answer: Overall, four out of the seven drinks with the highest sugar content were in North America or Canada, while Europe had the lowest sugar content@@Ghost-jx5hj
6:06 that evil grin made my day
In the UK we have food and health regulations that (oversimplified) mean that fast food must be under a specific sugar, fat and salt amount per 100 grams or they will be considered luxury goods and have a FAR higher tax put on them and drastically increase the price (which would negate a large portion of the sales of fast food). So American fast Food chains have had to alter their recipes, or lower their portion size, to simply be able to sell here. For example in the UK and Republic of Ireland Subway's bread is legally considered to be "cake" due to the HUGE amount of sugar in it and has the higher tax put on them, but as the cost of the sandwiches is so low (comparatively) they can afford to cover the higher cost of one ingredient.
Sometimes, not often, I wish there were a dedicated community to provide us with the sauce...
Would be really great to get that Chinese gameshow one
I am also in need of sauce for the second clip for no other reasons other than research.
There used to be a subreddit.
There’s the r/mxrthumbnails subreddit. Most people request sauce there and they get it most of the time
@@DaveH82 The subreddit has been back on for awhile now. Go there to get the sauce.
I'm pretty sure the reason food companies put multiple oils on their ingredient list is mainly because they don't know what oil they are using and can and do switch it up.
It was the most American biased thing ever hearing them completely throw out the whole purpose of the compassion the first place
“More food for $”
😂
not for the fact they mix harmful chemicals and unsourced and frankly unsafe oils with their products. American fast food is laced with all types of harmful and dodgy ingredients, I'm happy with my smaller and (more importantly) safer foods. The clip of the McDonald's portion sizes were H & J say "more is better" is naïve and silly in my opinion.

it's not just the guys jeannie, japanese women too. it's engrained in the culture. it's because being in a relationship is a symbol of status or at least seen as one and so people who are not ready to settle down get married through pressure from family members or society and so once they are incompatible or simply get bored of one another or work crazy hours whichever that's where the cheating comes in and for them it's widely acceptable because they are disinterested in each other or see it as societally okay, some mandatory business parties are held at brothels (or so ive heard from one of these interview type videos)
Also, a question... Is it cheating if both parties are okay with it?

I don't think they meant better as in healthy, but better tasting.
They didn't mean it's healthier
Just that it taste better (which is true)
Jeanie even ended it by saying "you choose what you eat" i.e it's on you to stay healthy while at it

I visited your McDonald's, and your food tastes like it expired and then was covered in oil to hide that fact.
@sebagab9795 It just depends. There are too many factors to make objective choices. The people who prepare the food might do a bad job, the ingredients might not be good or properly put in (and more ingredients makes this easier to mess up), and the person who eats it may not have the taste that likes the ingredients used (they might like something simpler in taste or they may not just like the specific type of oil).

Sometimes they are allowed to live under the solar panels. The panels can be mounted high enough to allow for animals to eat the grasses that grow underneath them. I worked at a company that hired sheep farmers to do this, instead of hiring mowing companies.

Large solar feilds such as that pose a risk to migrating flocks of birds or, any birds for that matter, they get cooked from the reflections.

seen as the point of the solar panels is to absorb the radiation, not reflect it, i doubt this is the case.

@@MrEshah radiation and heat generated from reflections are two different things.
@@thefifthaceassociation yeah i suppose i chose my words wrong. but still the panels are designed to absorb energy, not focus or generate and beam outwards more of it than what's hitting it. so flying above a field of them is unlikely to do much at all. a large body of water probably reflects more of the suns energy back up to the air and you don't see flock of cooked birds at lakes or seashores.
