Nice looking build and it probably worked but with all due respect you inserted the feeler gauge in the wrong tooth on the cam gear brother, should have went one up and you are also supposed to turn the cam gear clockwise before the loctite starts to harden not the idler, so it pinches both feeler gauges, the way you had it if you were to turn the cam gear clockwise it wouldn’t have pinched the feeler gauge
Thanks again for your help and sharing with us.
Plain and clear explanation 👍
Mark your socket, bolt, and end point with paint marker. Makes it easier and you don’t have to keep taking your socket off.
Thanks for the tip! And thanks for watching !

I noticed that too, that's why they edited the video. They don't mention that they moved the feeler guage up one tooth but they did.
the feeler gauge is too wide and needs cut down
❤
Great explanation sir you make it sound to easy…😅 thank you
Anyone know where I can purchase those feeler, wedges and pin for this engine?
Look on the internet they have some really reasonable priced tool kits for timing , pulling gears and feeler gauge for the engine brake
Is this a 12 liter?
