I’ve worked on and rebuilt many diesels engines over the last few years and learned my lesson with the isx, have someone who’s done them a few times do it it saves alot of anguish imo lol
I know this is an old video but there is a TSB on that large cam retaining plate. How do I know....because I just took my front cover off and it was in 3 pieces and had filed a little bit of the crank tone ring.
I hope you continue to make videos

This is the same as My current motor 1.4 million miles everything original!
Them 2 cam gears should also have a feeler gauge
Why not replace the injector cam washer?
What’s the difference between the twin cam vs the single cam?
Single cam only has the one cam for valves. They use electronic injectors and a common rail fuel system which does not require the injector cam.
@zedperformance in your opinion which is better!
Do you run a repair business out of your farm shop? Obviously you are a licensed mechanic with Cummins knowledge. What’s your story?
When exactly do you pin the engine? Before you take all the gears off? Or do you do that before you put them back on? Thanks great vid 😎🤘🏽
