HEY GUYS,
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING THIS VIDEO OF A LITTLE TRIP I TOOK OVER THE SUMMER, I LIKE TO DOCUMENT THESE VIDEOS OF SUMMER CAMPING TRIPS AS WE MAKE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES. I LOVE MY WILD CAMPING TRIPS AND TO SHARE THEM WITH MY DAUGHTER IN THE SUMMER IS VERY SPECIAL. CAYTON BAY IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CAMPING LOCATIONS, YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT A BEACH CAMP.
CAMPING WITH KIDS IS ALWAYS SLIGHTLY HARDER WITH ALL THE EXTRA KIT, BUT IT DEFINITELY IS WORTH IT. WE ARE VERY LUCKY TO LIVE WHERE WE DO SO WE CAN ENJOY LOTS OF COSTAL CAMPS.

However, none of us miss the insects
I came in counter with a wood wasp (videos on my channel) and iv never seen a wasp as big as that, even though they are harmless, they are the main providers of PTSD in a heavy pine forest 😁⛺️🪵🪓🥂🇬🇧🧹🪄
So that's where you wild camp around those parts! I always thought Cayton Bay would be heaving with surfers and camper vans..Smashing camp and video Carrie.

I camped at ravenscar on a bit like where u camped maybe Abit closer to the sea there was loads of massive seals going up n down my mind got the better of me and I bailed out at 2 am up through the bushes n trees I kept thinking the seals will get me somehow😅😅😅

Yeah that hill is a nightmare last year the kids picked two massive stones up for the garden which I had to carry up it so I know your pain 😂😂

So glad you got out this summer...and now look, its almost dark at 4pm! I have the same habit of setting up my hammock at one of the ponds in my village/town and the next morning, I go to the local café for my bacon sarnies and a lovely hot cup of tea, before I head home again. Never imagined bats so close to the coast...love watching them here at night. Best wishes as always chick

That looked like a good place for breakfast right at the end. Not many things are better than finding a good place to eat after a long hike.
Last time this happened to me I was half way through a long hike and I was hoping for a helicopter taxi service back to the car.
😅 yeah we’ve all been there when the car feels like a world away 😂 the breakfast after is definitely well earned in that case 😊

Hi Carrie. Do you have Ticks by the ocean there in the brush areas?
We do, ticks are the only downside of most camping trips- luckily I've only had one on me in all the years I've been going out...but I check obsessively 😂 my dogs however are not so lucky, we have to remove a lot of ticks😨
@@ukcarrieoutdoors9840 I see. Poor doggies always get nailed. I live in New England and we see them as well. Near the ocean we have nasty biting “Horse” flies that love the dogs as well. Thanks again for your efforts on your channel.
