Hey guys,
A few months ago I took a very last minute road trip over to the Lake District and did my first ever car camp- I've wanted to try car camping for a while so this was a really fun trip!
I headed over to Coniston for a nice hike, before driving over to Yew Tree tarn to cook up some tea before heading home. This was a really quick trip over to the Lake District but anytime I can I like to head over to my favourite place and explore! This rainy car camp was really enjoyable and I can't wait to get over to the Lake District to do some wild camping very soon!

I love car camping. My Jeep Renegade is perfect for it. Believe it or not, I've never been to the Lake District. Thanks for showing us how beautiful it is. If you ever see a little black Renegade up there one day parked up. That'll be me car camping. It's gotta be my next car camp place.

Some quick van life advice. Don't buy a French vehicle out of warranty they are notoriously unreliable (most vans are relative to cars) and never buy a yellow van these are usually ex parcel delivery vans that have had a very hard life. Hope this helps 😊

Ah you don't have to sell the Lakes to me mate 😃. Beautiful area around Yew Tree tarn. I can recommend Holme Fell & the quarries around Tilberthwaite. Dramatic & stunning xx

The lakes is stunning, do a lot of walking and wild camping there, just never know what to expect thats what makes it a great place to explore. loved the video., thanks😁

Nice spot to go car camping. It can be very peaceful and rewarding mostly but you do get the odd times where it isn't satisfactory. We could see you getting a bit bullish with the cattle ..lol. Have a great New Year and keep up these entertaining vlogs. Bushyboy Oz.

I set up a hammock last summer at yew tree tarn and spent an afternoon stretched out by water , it was bliss

You know it's a good hike when the steak comes to you, that cow was willing. Also, noodles are underrated, the Japanese like them and they are the best car manufacturers in the world.

Hi! Seemed to be a nice trip. I wonder, how did you solve the ventilation during the night in the car? Too early for the mosquitos but how about rain? Cause I assume you had the windows rolled down an inch or two?

Get a roof bag they are great and fairly cheap allows u to keep your car reality free then easier set up 👍

Cracking vlog Carrie. Who doesn't love the Lake District. My first introduction to the Lakes was also at Coniston while I was adventure training in the Army. Nowadays, the wife and I always head to Ullswater but, I'll definitely be heading back to Coniston, possibly even a car camp. Why not. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure. 👍🏕️

Oh, ye old "lost video" footage……..😉 Why couldn’t it be "I found some lost treasure?" I bet it’s colder than it was when you went for the overnight. ✌️🇺🇸🇬🇧✌️
I wouldn’t mind finding some lost treasure lol - it wasn’t too cold to be fair, this was filmed all the way back in July last summer (although the weather wasn’t exactly July weather 😂 unfortunately) I’ve just got round to putting together the video before it got lost completely lol
