It isn’t even that detailed, but as someone who’s had a Masterclass subscription (when they offered it to college students for $1) this erb video is way more thorough and educational than any of the courses I watched on there.
@@jcnot9712 instead of it being just seperate parts, it really shows the teamwork, collaboration, the deeper thought processes. It's amazing :) I remember their old bts (who are so funny) and it's amazing to see how far they've come! And always with so much passion and attention :)

I legit think this is my favorite ERB BTS ever!

When you think about it, ERB’s decision to not have Mansa Musa wear gold jewelry also has another added layer of meaning to it. Aside from conforming to Islamic laws prohibiting men from wearing gold jewelry, it also represents Musa’s humility and generosity (as he used his wealth to help others, in contrast to Bezos, who hoards wealth and uses it for himself rather than for the poor). Also, the contrast ERB wants to make between the generous and humble Musa and the stingy and wealth-hoarding Bezos can be seen in how Bezos has three outfits in this battle while Musa only has one.
Maybe but Mansa Musa was by no means a nice and generous person. He traded slaves at a huge scale.

I think I read though that he took humility well and he did do a lot of good things. Still, guy did trade slaves. Hard to know exactly what he was like, but then again the slave trade was normal back then. I dunno. I mean, he’s far from being a Hitler or a Stalin. Not even close to that level of evil and I don’t consider him evil at all. But I wouldn’t say he’s a MLK Jr. or a Gandhi either.

@@LucyAdroit John David McAfee made the first commercial anti-virus software, McAfee. Edward Jenner created the concept of vaccine and made the world's first vaccine, smallpox vaccine. It's an odd match up, for sure but it would be interesting to see how this one goes.
Edit: Of course, it's clearly not the best comparison but ERB has a history of either making a match up based on the characters background or merely because they have the same name. Like Easter Bunny Vs Genghis Khan (the only comparison I could take is both have a lot of offspring), or Mr. T Vs Mr. Rogers (still one of the best match up of ERB, IMHO).

As a Muslim fan, I love that ERB represented us in a really cool way. I remember once they did a Muslim character (Muhammad Ali), and didn't mention his religion at all. Now they chose an extremely devout character, so they couldn't miss the religious part. And it was freakin' cool!
