Hey everyone, I'm the guy that edits the Behind the Scenes. Just wanna highlight one post-production bit that didn't make it into the BTS. The opening standoff shot was filmed with dozens of tracking markers on the green screen (11:56) and Javi did some amazing Blender work there to ground Pete, Lloyd and Zach in that scene. I was blown away how good it looked when I saw the final cut. Kudos Javi!

I still maintain Zach Sherwin is the *best* writer and rapper of the ERB regulars. His flows and rhyme schemes are top tier.
I still also maintain his best verse was Alexander the Great. But there isn't a bad Sherwin verse. I don't think there's been an ERB he's lost.
Edit: Yes I do realize that would mean his character beat Watsky's and I don't take it back.

I like how when their talking about the muscle suit, you can hear the Hulk Hogan vs Kim Jong Il beat in the background, almost showcasing how far they've come from that cheap suit Pete wore as Hogan

Haha, yeah; that was intentional (I edit these). There was a bit in the BTS that got cut where Pete talked about how far they've come since Hulk Hogan.

I've said before, and I'll say it again; Zach ABSOLUTELY needs to do more of the BTS with ERB. He just absolutely kills it with his little witticisms and jokes.
My favorite part of the recent BTS vids is how you breakdown the additions and changes you make to the beat. It's super interesting and makes me appreciate the battle so much more when I rewatch!
The only thing I took away from the vid, Zach can’t turn it off. In my head I’ve assumed he can’t turn off that lyrical pun mainline, but it’s nice to see he just walks around making cold star puns, and twisting words to his needs.

It still amazes me that Zach hasn’t been in a battle for 5 years but this was definitely a great return, he killed it as John Wick and I loved the puns he made throughout the video. Fucking golden

I'd love to see more.
My suggestion would be the 3 Grinch battle (original v. Jim Carrey v. Benedict Cumberbatch).... with a surprise appearance by rapper Dax as his "Black Grinch" persona.
My other suggestion would be the battle of the 3 live-action Spider-Men (Tobey Maguire v. Andrew Garfield v. Tom Holland)... with a surprise (animated or live-action) appearance by Miles Morales.
Massive props to the makeup department, Lloyd looks exactly like 80s Bruce Willis here!
Zach was perfect. Nice Peter was also good. Lloyd looked amazing, but I wish his voice was a bit more accurate. Great job, guys!
noticed the background song at 5:17 i really appreciate rambo’s costume it’s awesome and is like a symbol of how far erb has come since the hulk hogan costume in season 1
It just dawned on me. Stallone and Arnold are always competing against each other. Stallone does a mud scene in Rambo First Blood Part II (1985) and Arnold rips it off in Predator (1987). And the competition continues to this very day!
it feels like Three Musketeers with Llyod, Peter and Zach all bring something to the table and creativity

Zach is always a treat in ERB. Seeing Peter open the book from David Copperfield really made me think of the Monday Show and I miss him opening mail from that.
"Alot of people don't remember the first Rambo movie" and some of us, only remember that one. . . .because it was all down hill after that.

God, it's so cathartic watching you guys do these! I started watching these around when the Mr. Rogers vs Mr. T episode came out when I was still in middle school!!! It was awesome! And watching how this interesting little project grew into such an epic (pun intended) process of lyrical genius, costume coordination, and awesome filmography is just... wonderful. It's incredible for my nostalgia, and I'm always so excited when a new one drops! We've had several long pauses, but it's always been worth it. I'm here for the ride, and loving it.

having a three-way battle from.the start is better than the other way. it always felt unfair when character A would diss B, then B would diss A, then C would diss A and B, but A and B never get to diss C.

While I feel this battle wasn’t as good as it could have been it was a fun one, my only complaint is Lloyd’s voice for some reason it sounded like his Al Capone

Every one over 30 or 40 is a living history event. My Xmas wish is a rap battle between the Montford Point Marines and the Harlem Hellfighters...even adding in The late Gen. Colin Powell and Gen. Harold Petersen.
I would love to research this, but I only know the Montford Point history as I was stationed in North Carolina where they trained during WWII.
