Thanos also has no eyes and Lloyd can't move his mouth naturally. Eyes and mouth movement are the two most important things in acting really.

I dunno if it's the lighting or Peter's performance, but I noticed in this video that when he's out of costume his eyes are bright and full of life. When he gets into character, though, his eyes become dull and empty. It's almost creepy how profound that transformation is.

Thanos is a really impressive technical CGI achievement. And there’s a reason for it... Trying to do him practical is unavoidably awkward and uncanny.

Exactly. Thanos could have honestly been worse given that they’re doing these on a monthly basis and they’re relying on patrons and CZcams revenue. I’m not saying it looks good, but I don’t know what people would have been expecting with ERB doing Thanos.

Thats it, theres nothing to add to describe that level of guilt. Thats our world he was talking about. Incinerating instantly a mere 100000 people was nothing, just a prelude to the Cold War that threatened to wipe out all intelligent life from the planet. It was him, not the germans. He led the team, he took the responsibility. He killed those people and he let the nuclear techology loose and he could not control it anymore, he could not take it back or make it stop.

The aesthetic of Oppenheimer’s half was insane and eerie. The camera work on Thanos’ verse was well done. Josh’s work on those hands was done excellently. Good work, people

I think the reason why Oppenheimer's spaced out look seems so tragic, is because you can tell he's focusing less on the battle, and more on a memory. And with his solemn and depressed expression, you can feel the pain and regret in your heart.
That's just genius, and I think we found the act that's gonna top Pete's Austin Powers performance as his best one yet!

Suggestions for the Thanos costume in the future:
* A taller actor, or some kind of stilts for Lloyd.
* Bulk up the arms some more.
These should help mitigate the size of the costume's head, and provide it better on-screen proportions. In this behind-the-scenes footage, Lloyd looks good in the costume. In the actual rap battle video, however, the costume makes Lloyd's head look cartoonish and bulbous, in contrast to the remainder of his body.
He just needs a bigger body, the head looks massive.
How come no one is suggesting they edit the head to look a bit smaller? XD

I remember a History discussion I had when I was younger about Oppenheimer and my teacher asked us "What if Oppenheimer had thought 'I can use that to create large energy sources' instead of 'Let's design a bomb'. How would WW2 have turned out or how might the World be different?" It was a really provocative question. I always figured it would mean we might be living more like the Jetsons right now as we would be focusing on other things instead of Nuclear Disarmament. I also remember that I thought someone else would have just progressed with a bomb and Oppenheimer would have been hidden away or called out as a nut job cause big energy. Yes. I kinda had that mentality at 16. LOL.
I don't remember the conversation much as it was like 22 years ago, but I do remember some of the questions. Today, I think we would have stopped Japan without the bombs. Russia had just declared War against Japan as well, but we dropped the bombs mere hours afterwards. Dunno what kinda outcome it might have been, but I think it could have been done without the bombs. It, to me, was more of a flex on the World stage at our resourcefulness and put us into the World Dominant Power view overnight. Feel free to chime in if you have thoughts too, but keep it civil please.
I think it was more about lives lost because the island hopping campaign was BRUTAL. The causalities were high, so what would happen when they get to the mainland of Japan?
They probably could've won without the bombs, but all the same, Japan would not have gone down without a fight. So it's more like, should we do this that is bound to kill a lot of people and end the war? Or should we fight for another year to slog through Japan, while losing thousands of American lives and probably countless Japanese (civilian or otherwise) lives as well?
This is all I was taught in school, so it might be wrong. Just my two cents.
Do you realize how much time and money they spent inventing the nuke, only for the allies to beat the Nazis before it was done? They probably felt had to drop the bomb on SOMEONE or a lot of people would have been out of their jobs for wasting millions of the government's money. Millions in 1940s dollars!

One (or two) of the problems with that is (are) this(these):
The royalty and the concept of "giri" (respect to authority).
The giri and some social manipulation was what caused them to provide kamikaze's consistently.
The royalty, as royalties tend to do, did not worry about casualties overseas as long as they were not personally impacted.
The atom bombs did one main thing to end the war with Japan: spook the higher ups.
The emperor was actually intending to surrender after the first one, but his generals were like , "naaah, that was the only one ". The 2nd one informed that , no, that was not the only one.
I dunno what would've happened in the alternative, but I doubt Japan of that time would've surrendered until their capital was sacked, through either allied forces or rebellion by "commoners"
Oppenheimer felt regret and he never looked at the camera, he was just living that one moment in his head over and over.

Oppenheimer was just amazing in this rap battle. Both lyrics and visuals are just stunning. Cudeos to everyone that worked on the team, editors, writers, camera operators and of course NicePeter and EpicLLOYD. This was maybe the best one from season 6 and I must say it is really great as opposed to other episodes where you guys were sponsored and used corporated money instead of donations. It turned out great, I must say I love it. Not the whole season, but this one is really amazing. Hope to seeu guys again before the end of 2020.
And of course we would like to see some battle about COVID-19. If you can find something about it.

This is the percentage of individual rappers that are historical figures.
