- In this video, I'm doing a little sunscreen comparison test to see which La Roche Posay mineral sunscreen is the best for you!
I'm testing the non-tinted sunscreen and the tinted sunscreen and see which one works best for what you need. I'll be talking about the SPF level, finish, and coverage. So watch this video to see what happens when I put these two sunscreens to the test!

Thank you so much for showing us ❤
I appreciate this video SO much. Thank you
The tinted is Beautiful on you
The tinted looks better on you, I just bought the tinted 🎉
Enjoy!
This was very helpful for the rest of us. I think the untainted version fades into your skin once dried longer, it doesn't contrast w your neck. I think its only noticeably whitening over the more flushed parts of your skin. The tinted version is flattering, but it contrasts w your neck. I think a combo of the two would give you the best of both worlds.
Usually best to layer sunscreens and not mix them. 🤗
Thank you so much for explaining that this is really a hybrid sunscreen due to the butyloctyl salicylate. I tried this a couple months ago and it gave me little red bumps on my face and I couldn’t figure out why. Now I know to look out for that ingredient. I wish I had seen this video before I tried it. Thanks again for your very informative videos…I really enjoy them.
Glad it was helpful!
You could mix half and half to get a good mid point for fair ish skin
I prefer not to mix sunscreens but I do layer them and it balances them out
I did like the feel and performance of the non-tinted one (tinted version was too dark for me), but I found that it had a smell reminiscent of wet dog. I didn't know if it had gone bad, or if that was just how it smelled. Do you detect a similar smell?
Hmmm I don’t really smell anything with mine and that wet dog smell is one of my least favorite smells ever. Sucks that yours smells like it! 😩
I had the tinted version on my wish list until I found out it had talc in it :( I like the tint though.
Curious why you don’t like talc?
@@DanaRipperton Because it doesn’t feel right to me personally to apply something potentially carcinogenic. Even if percentage is considered safe, science may change its opinion years later. I feel the same way about polyacrylamide.
Is this good for sensitve, dry and eczema prone skin?
Which one? Hard to say, as I don’t have any of those types of skin
i have eczema and psoriasis and i'm using the untinted one with zinc as it's the one recommended to me by many. works fine to me. but we are all different. maybe test it first and check how your skin will react
Can you mix them?
Normally for sunscreens from the same brand it’s a bit safer but since these aren’t the same formula I would layer but not mix
@@DanaRipperton alright thanks
I have mixed them for years
