From the entire skincare I have bought in North America only Eucerin is making me try and buy more and more. My sensitive skin is tolerating their products surprisingly well. Hopefully my suggestion is not annoying you. I love and appreciate your work!

I generally steer clear of chemical sunscreens (from the US) cause I’m always allergic to them, but this year I’ve found some awesome mineral ones! For face i use the Everyday tinted sunscreen by Unsun & it’s probably the most comfortable one I’ve tried that’s mineral. For body the Native mineral sunscreen. It’s weird to apply at first but once you rub it in, it disappears into your skin! No sticky gross white lines in your elbow creases or that sticky coating all over!

I love your videos, this one was especially helpful in determining which of the drug store options you recommended and ones to avoid. I was wondering if applying sunscreen to eyelids are recommended? I obviously know to be careful around the eyes but not 100% sure. Also, any advice about red-light therapy masks and whether the eyelids are shielded enough from the masks. I use the Omnilux mask and when I use it 4-5 days a week, I notice the eyelid area becomes irritated and a feeling like my eyelids are "being stretched", they even "appear" that way. Any comments would be appreciated. Best regards, Marsonne

As someone who is always searching for the best budget products, I really thought the Eucerin daily protection spf 30 was going to be great, but I literally have to wash it off my face and apply something else almost every time I use it. It only works (usually) if my skin is maximally exfoliated (before I start getting irritated) and also use no other products (after cleansing). It pills so much. Even on top of itself. I have heard such great reviews of this product from trustworthy derms, so that's why I say, it may not be a guaranteed dollar-well-spent. I love Eucerin products usually, just not that one.
Just a note for sunscreen reviews, its super important to note the tone / opacity of tinted sunscreens for different skin tones (light/dark)

Kinda off-topic, but I have a pretty severe allergy towards UV-A and I recently discovered it seems to reach over into the blue wavelengths as well. Do you know any sunscreen which would protect against that? I mean it would probably have to leave some kind of cast, since it needs to block visible light, but I would be ok with that. I always appreciate the content of your videos and this one is no exception. My five year old granddaughter has Vitiligo. I encourage her to use sunscreen especially on her face. I squirt a small dab on her fingertips for her to apply herself. I’m assuming she’s not too young, but do small children need sunscreen daily and if so do you recommend the same sunscreens as those for adults? Does she need to apply more on the area that is lighter? Thank you for all the information Doctorly provides. 👍🏻👍🏻

This year I tried Blue lizard sensitive sunscreen sticks that you apply to your face like you reply deodorant . I find it in the humid weather it has the advantage of adhering much better to the skin then the typical spreadable versions . Also while all the sun screens you mentioned might be great for the face you would use them too quickly for the body as they are sold in small quantities . For the body I find that sprays are the most economical and easy way to go .

Thanks for the recs! Having super sensitive skin, and leaning dry, I've been on the Vanicream bandwagon for a long time - the cream I wear on my face and body, and I use their face and body cleanser. Sadly, that Vanicream sunscreens (and the moisturizer without sunscreen - with Ceramides), breaks me out and makes my face feel icky... I can't wear any Cerave products - except the cream, which my body loves...Go figure. ...For sunscreen, I use EVY Kids from overseas. I'm willing to pay more because this is the only sunscreen my face likes...Anxious to try the Neutrogena Hydroboost water cream....
