      *B* orn
      *T* oo
*S* oon. That' s half of the problem.
Am I the only one who cannot stop wondering how dramatically different my life would have been I the internet existed when I was 14? Currently 50 yo and taking a micro micro micro mantenance dose of isotretinoine. Not to talk about the amount of years, unsuccessful derms and money it took me to find THE ONE. With some videos like this one I' d been able to say: "Retinoic acid and tanning bed 3 times a week? No sunscreen?😱 No, mom, no, this is not how it works, UV rays destroy collagen and I need my pores to be nice and hugged. We are not gonna come back to this doctor".
      I demand a time machine😌.

I grew up with a mother that would constantly degrade me for my physical appearance. She often mistook my sebacious filaments for blackheads that weren't very "black" and constantly insulted the fact that I must not have been washing my face enough, when I was washing it EXCESSIVELY for that very reason. On top of insulting my skin, my weight, my general appearance, that one particular nitpick of hers has always really stuck with me. While my sebacious filaments have improved since that age (10, I'm 27 now) I'm really excited to apply the info in this video! Very much an overshare of a comment but, idk, this information healed something in me. Thank you as always for the concise and thorough nature of your videos!

Salicylic acid never worked for me, always dried me out and made my skin more sensitive. I’ve found that 10% Azelaic acid in combination with adapalene (Differin) has FINALLY given me the skin texture I’ve wanted! Like even after I wash my face it still feels like I have moisturizer on it’s crazy-so smooth and soft!
Now my next steps are dealing with the PIH from trying to extract all those blackheads/sebaceous filaments myself 😅

I’ve also heard good things about Dr. Sam Bunting’s 10% AA (UK based, must buy from her website I believe) and Naturium’s 10% Emulsion (on their website as well as Amazon).

I am in my mid 40’s and have always had very oily and sensitive skin. My enlarged pores have been the biggest challenge so am
    very appreciative of this video!
Your channel has taught me so much and I have to say I can see an improvement on my skin which still breaks out now and again. When was I was younger I had acne from early teens to 24yrs! Oh what I would have paid to know what I know now! I now have a 10 year daughter who started breaking out at age 8. She now has a skin care routine with some of the mild products containing Salicylic acid and niacinimide which is helping but has breakouts (almost every week) but doesn’t have as many pimples as she had at age 9. I am mindful of her age and it would be helpful if you do a video focusing on children in particular those who start puberty early.

My husband was on Accutane for cystic acnee at the age of 26 (face and upper back) 43 years ago and after having our last child, and it did clear his acne, but went through important redness and flaky skin. But after a year or so, it made him self-assured and changed his life. So maybe today's Accutane must be (maybe) more gentle in this aggressive procedure 🤔. But for him, it was a life changing procedure.

I use the Neutrogena Stubborn Texture Glycolic Acid + Salicylic Acid every day and it's been the only cleanser that actually has helped with my clogged pores. With added green tea serum and adapalene has been awesome

Yey! I was just looking for videos about sebaceous filaments these days. I'll have to give that Cerave cleanser a try. And I an trying to save money on procedures, but last month I tried microneedling and oh boy! For at least a week I looked like I was wearing foundation!

I’ve been targeted with ads lately for estrogen-based skin care (Musely, MyAlloy, etc) claiming to reverse signs of aging and increased pore size. What are your thoughts on these online prescription type products? I’m 46 and intrigued, but skeptical.

Hi doctorly, I've been watching your amazing videos for a while now and it has helped me lots. I have a concern that I'm unable to address that is saggy undereye skin. I've used a hyaluronic acid serum and it made it even more saggier for a while (probably I'm allergic or whatever) then it turned back again but I really need advice on what I can do here and reverse signs of aging. Natural ingredients and any eye-cream suggestions are welcome.

Same here. I use CeraVe on a morning, but I added using a cream cleanser, Biologique Recherche, followed by foaming CeraVe, followed by Medik8 Crystal Retinol 10 most nights. Other nights, I use BR Lotion P50. I've had open pores my whole life, and this routine has changed everything.

Hello! Can you make a video about de MEDERMA scar creams? Does it really help with acne scars and dark spots? And if it is a good cream when should I use it in my routine? Can I use it with BPO? Also, can I use BPO with vitamin c? I’m sorry for all the questions. Love your videos and I really trust your opinion!

So I have a slightly off topic question. When dermatologists speak about reducing dark spots on one’s face, are dark spots due to hyperpigmentation the same as dark spots caused by sun damage? Can you reduce dark spots caused by sun damage the same way one treats hyperpigmentation or does sun damage require laser treatments to even one’s tone? Thank you.

Along with the proper skin care try Face Theory’s porebrite serum #10. I’ve never had such success with a product! You just need a few drops . A bottle easily lasts a year +. Took my pores from craters to smaller than normal.
I have dry skin … no issues w Porebright.
